THE UNDERGROUND

The galaxy is dark and full of terrors.

After Mother Askani shared her grim forecast for the Core's future through her prophecy known as The Burning Truth, and with the growing need for the Jedi's light to be able to reach farther than it ever has before, the Jedi Council began working tirelessly on a covert initiative called, The Underground.

Designed as a safeguard against rising corruption throughout the galaxy, The Underground was built to extract and protect Force-sensitives beings, and other vulnerable individuals who might be trapped behind enemy lines, helping them to escape and find eventual safety and harbor in the bastion of the High Republic.

Now, with the Galactic Empire's rapid rise throughout the Core, the Imperial Confederations hold to their far East, the Sith Order's Black Wall bordering the High Republic's western front, and the dastardly machinations of the Black Sun Syndicate, the need for The Underground, for decisive action, has become pressing.

ORGANIZATION

Guardian Posts – Guardian Posts are safe centers embedded deep in enemy territory, serving the purpose of moving force sensitives and other vulnerable beings from areas where they might otherwise face oppression, extermination, or both. These safe centers are often built into abandoned outposts, or long-forgotten military bases, and are marked by the secret symbol of The Underground, as a way to identify themselves to those looking for safety and protection.

The Path – The Path' refers to highly classified evacuation routes that are mapped and maintained by select Jedi Wardens. These routes are regularly rotated and often end at the nearest Jedi Enclave where the refugee/victim can receive aid for identity reformation and other needs.

The Conclave – The Conclave is made up of select Jedi leaders who oversee various cells, routes, and guardian posts within the underground network. These individuals answer directly to the high council, passing along any pertinent intelligence or critical updates.
