The Tombs of Korriban

Ke'Cholo landed his rented Trade Federation Super Freighter on a cliff over looking the Valley of the Sleeping Kings. He then slowly stood up and looked out the viewport to find such beauty in such desolation. The fallen statues, the magnificent tombs, the sculptures all a testament to an empire that faded away. He pressed a few buttons behind him on a door panel and looked down at his crew. ''We've arrived''

OOC: Just need a few peeps to join me, 1 at a minimum 5 at max. We're going to raid the Valley of the Sleeping Kings, the Armory, and the artifact collection room. Everyone gets their share of loot either in the loot itself or in credits. List your affiliation (no good guys allowed ;) ) weapons, and purpose for going on the mission.

Ke'Cholo looked down at his crew and observed each one. T'Chungo, a Talz engineer who was exceptionally good with weaponry and ships. He had restored an old reciprocating quad blaster from the Clone Wars and used in now in conjunction with a headset that linked to it in order to give him maximum accuracy. T'Chungo himself was quite intimidating 2.3 meters and 100 kilograms. T'Chungo met Ke'Cholo many years ago and has gone on many runs and bounties with Ke'Cholo. T'Chungo now holds to position of engineer and mechanic when with Ke'Cholo. Ke'Cholo moved his gaze to the two Geonosian brother in the rear of the freighter, Ka'tak and Ta'kak were always up to some sort of mischief, this is what made them prime candidates for members of Ke'Cholo's crew. The twins are fantastic gunners due to their exceptional reflexes. Ke'Cholo met them on Geonosis and convinced them to follow him off world. When not with Ke'Cholo the twins stay on Raxis Minor or the slums of Coruscant. Ke'Cholo then moved his gaze towards the front of the freighter to Worwir Monn. Worwir is a Shistavanen numbers man. Worwir would price everything the crew came into contact with in order to get the most value out of this trip. Worwir is not a regular member of the crew and was only called upon when Ke'Cholo was going on a raid. The last member of the team was Ke'Cholo's oldest ally. Qaeth Idos was once a wealthy Mon Calimari banker allied with the Techno Union, it was Qaeth who gave Ke'cholo his first job. When Ke'Cholo was 20 and Qaeth 31, Qaeth was poisoned in an assassination attempt. In a final move to save Qaeth from the poison that had spread to most of his body, doctors amputated Qaeth's left arm and both legs. After waking up from surgery, Qaeth realized he could no longer live like this. He requested a new body. Using most of his funds, engineers and doctors spent 2 and a half years researching for the Mon Calimari who had very specific requests. After the research was complete another year was spent building the body. During research and building, Qaeth was tied to life support to keep his fading body alive. After 3 and a half years from the assassination attempt, Qaeth went into surgery in order to install his worn and town body's organs into the new body. Qaeth's organs were placed in the torso of the new body and protected by a cortosis and mandolorian iron alloy. Qaeth's entire body is composed of a super strong cortosis and mandolorian iron alloy allowing him to take heavy blaster fire and a few lightsaber strikes and still live. Qaeth's new body is designed based off of General Greivous who Qaeth was fascinated with. There is a glaring distance however, Qaeth's (unlike Greivous) has an actual organic head, a glaring weak spot. However all this came at a cost, with several million credits invested in research, development, and building Qaeth now has only has a few thousand credits and more debt than he thinks he can pay off. He is now the co-pilot when with Ke'Cholo and is looking for a lucky break that will allow him to pay back his debtors.

((Guess I'm RPing solo. Purposes of this thread are: character development, reason for finding unique canon items, and my first RP to put under my belt.))

The six gentlemen stepped out of the rented Trade Federation Superfreighter into the harsh wastelands of Korriban. A slight gust of wind picked up Qaeth's tan cloak revealing his robotic body.
''You got de documents Q?'' Ke'Cholo asked.
''The originals are not here, but I scanned and downloaded copies to this'' Qaeth revealed a datapad and up popped a holographic slide show of maps and various documents on it.
''Good'' Ke'Cholo scanning the horizon. With a few clicks of his tounge, Ke'Cholo spoke some rough Geonosian. T'Kak and K'Tak went back inside and produced 4 hovering crates. While T'Kak and K'Tak could understand basic they much preferred the rough Geonosian Ke'Cholo, Qaeth, and Worwir could speak. T'Chungo was unable to speak Geonosian due to his odd kazoo like way of speaking.
''Where to first?'' Ke'Cholo asked stepping up to the edge of the valley.
''It's you call where we go'' Qaeth began
''Our best bets would be going to the tombs of Darth Cognus or Darth Bane.''
''Why dose'?'' Ke'Cholo inquired
''Darth Cognus was the last known possessor of Darth Bane's ligthsaber, someone made a small, hidden tomb for her here. All documents of who or...what her apprentice was, are absent or destroyed. Expect a small tomb buts lots of traps. Darth Bane on the other hand, has a large elegant tomb. Extremely expansive and was well documented. A larger tomb also means more''
''Loot'' Ke'Cholo said finishing Qaeth's statement
''Let's head to the chick's tomb.'' Worwir said nonchalantly ''The lightsaber is worth lots of money to a collector.''
''Cognus it is'' Ke'Cholo said

The crew made their way to a large rocky platform 10 meters above the bottom of the canyon.
''This is it'' Qaeth said staring at the wall.
''Woozoo WOOZAA Wooraa'' T'Chungo whistled
''Of course we can blow a whole in this wall T'Chungo, that is if you'd like destroying priceless Sith relics'' Worwir said annoyed with the Talz' blunder. ''Pretty sure there are some curses that come with that sort of thing'' he mumbled.
''The creator of this tomb seems to have installed pressure plates around the entrance, which we are of course at.'' Qaeth said moving around his three available hands, the fourth holding the datapad which he periodically checked.
''So start pushin'.'' Ke'Cholo said.
After what seemed like hours, when the others had given up, Qaeth and Ke'Cholo found the correct two spots each only being a small square 10 centimeters per side.
''Ready?'' Ke'Cholo asked looking back at his crew. Each gave a nod.

A large face of rock fell into the ground to reveal....

nothing. No traps, no blaster turrets, no security droids, nothing but an empty room with no doors or windows. Ke'Cholo motioned for T'Kak to go inside and check their blind spots. T'Kak stepped into the room cautiously, he slowly made his way to the center of the room, pivoting around and looking for hidden compartments or fake walls that might produce some abomination ripe for combat. When he finally reached the center of the small 12 meter by 12 meter room his left foot pressed and activated a small pressure plate. Frightened by it, the Geonosian immediately flew out of the room. Not sooner was he out of the room, toxic gas filled the room.
''Just as I expected'' Qaeth said looking into one of the four crates.
''What we gonna do about it?'' Ke'Cholo asked stepping back from the entrance to the room.
''Put on these'' Qaeth produced 6 specialized oxygen masks each fitting their member of the crew perfectly.
Each man put on the mask and waited for orders from Qaeth.
''Make sure your mask covers your eyes, we don't know what sort of effect this gas will have on them.''
After a few re-adjustments the crew took their first steps into the room.
''We need to be in and out, these oxygen supplies don't last long.'' Qaeth said looking around the room.
''De' hell is this Q? There's nothing in here'' Ke'Cholo said looking around.
''Sure there is'' Qaeth said tapping on the floor and listening carefully.
''What are you doin' Q?'' Worwir asked, puzzled.
''Ah, here it is. T'Chungo, come here and help me with this.'' Qaeth said finally settling on a spot.
Qaeth went outside, and came back producing a laser cutting tool and two odd looking handles. After a few more taps and some measurements, Qaeth anchored the handles into the floor and motioned for T'Chungo.
''Hold tightly friend.'' Qaeth said as he began to cut a rectangular shape in the floor.
''Qaeth, you imbecile, why didn't you use that to open up the tomb instead of us pressing around on that fraking wall for all that time?'' Worwir asked obviously angered.
''That wall was at least half a meter thick, it would've never cut through. Not to mention that if it did, it could've fallen backwards towards us, or fall forward and collapsed the floor'' Just as Qaeth said this he finished cutting the rectangular area of the floor and T'Chungo started lifting a small meter by meter area of the floor.
''Progress'' Qaeth said looking down.
