RATIONALE

The Techno Union- in it's current state, is lead by the Foreman, a position whose title is sometimes exchanged for that of First Chairman, Presidenate, among many others. Like other corporations, there exists a rigid hierarchy that begins and ends at the pleasure of the Union Directorate, whose power has been expanded dramatically over the past few centuries.

The current Chairman of the Techno Union is Van Hill. Under Union doctrine the Chairman serves for as long as the Directorate, whose own composition is both incredibly large, and for the most part appointed by the Chairman, maintains confidence in him/her/they.
