Azariah
More lost than a Lieutenant on Land Nav
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Darth Vanus knew her Culexus would need a weapon capable of dealing with the arms and armor of whatever enemies she sent it after, and commissioned her confidante, a man known only as ‘Vindicare’, to forge such a blade.
This was the result: a fairly plain double-edged sword, elegant in its simplicity, with a power field emitter hidden in the hilt that generates a lethal corona of energy micrometers from the forged durasteel blade, disrupting the molecular bonds of most matter it strikes, slicing through flesh and bone and armor as if it were nothing. This same energy field lets the wielder resist even the blows of a lightsaber for a time, if the wielder is adept enough. A small, easily missed switch is set into the hilt, just under the crossguard/emitter aperture, that triggers this deadly field.
Weapon Culexus absconded with this blade when she betrayed Darth Vanus.
