Alric and Danger spent the better part of half a decade actually destroying the Star Cabal(Or at least a sect of it) and retrieving the Black Codex. It was a pretty involved story with a slew of Star Cabal NPC's.
Obviously, this doesn't/won't stop you from doing anything with the Star Cabal, just making a note of it
