After the completion of the infection occurs the victim's life functions will cease for approximately 3 minutes after which time they will restart at 2-3 times the activity rate of a normal person. Following this, the scar tissue on the victims will start to move of its own accord and grow at a rapid rate. Normal features start to disappear at this point under the infection and the path of mutation appears to be largely random.

Historical Information

Not much is known about The Spiteful Flesh or whom even allowed its existence. Discovery of this viral organism was first founded by the unfortunates of a mining company seeking riches among unusual planets where not much information was disclosed to begin with, other than the greed of the CEO and his desire to rid himself of personal debt owed to criminal organizations within the deeper levels of Coruscant.

Upon arrival, a four man group was dispatched on a scouting party to map the geographical layout and search for any mineral deposits. What was discovered, however, was a cave with what could only be described as a site for ritualistic activity bearing close resemblance to filed Sith incidents of the past. A strange, organic substance coated the ground as well as the walls the deeper the scouting party traversed.

After hours of being gone, armed personnel were advised to seek the missing scouting party, but they too vanished without sending back any sort of information or distress.

Upon investigation by various bounty hunters sent to either arrest or slay the debt-riddled CEO, all reports have come back negative for his whereabouts. Only the vessel of the company itself was discovered as completely derelict, and the surrounding areas devoid of any life.

No further information has been obtained.

Fire and extreme heat more or less cover the same thing. I would recommend adding a lack of intelligence here in its place for posterity.
