Image Source: Thanks to [member="Aram Kalast"] for recoloring the picture of a Hammerhead cruiser from the main page: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hammerhead-class_cruiser

Affiliation: Ultimatu, LOOM

Manufacturer:
Originally: Rendili Hyperworks
Updated/Repaired: LOOM

Model: Hammerhead-class Cruiser

Modularity: Missiles can be switched out, compliment can be changed, Software can be updated
Production: Unique
Material: Durasteel, Stygium, Various ship components, missiles, standard stuff
Classification: Home-base

Length: 315 meters
Width: Standard (I have not been able to find any information on the width or height. I have tried to judge based on pictures however some simply do not work for the calculations made. My best guess is that at the widest it is about 100 meters and thinnest would be akin to 30, however I am uncertain and do not see it as correct)
Height: Same as above (Best guess: tallest would be something along the lines of 150 and shortest would be 30 or so. Again I am uncertain and will leave this to the judge. It is standard height.)

Armament:
Dual Light Turbolaser Cannon x4
Medium Turbolaser Cannon x2
Quad Laser Cannon x2
Point-defense Laser Cannon Batteries x4
Proton Torpedo Launchers x4
Tractor Beam x2

Hangar: Has the space for one fighter squadron, or a lesser number of shuttles

Special Features: Stealth capabilities
Small Droid Factory
Molecular Furnace

Maneuverability Rating: 6
Speed Rating: Space: 7
Atmosphere: 10
Take off: 15

Hyperdrive: 2

Strengths: The ship is stealth capable, intended to allow Ultimatum to travel through systems to avoid entanglements
A miniature factory has replaced where most of the bunk rooms are allowing Ultimatum to continue minor production of droids while moving from planet to planet
A molecular furnace has been installed and takes up most of the rest of the housing space, this allows Ultimatum to use waste to continue producing food or other materials as required

Weaknesses: Factory and Furnace take a large chunk of power from the weapon systems
Electronic weapons are decidedly dangerous against this ship as it is mostly computer or droid run
With more space taken up by the Factory, Furnace, and added weaponry systems there is considerably less space for bunks

Description: The Sovereignty is an old Hammerhead-class cruiser which was captured by Ultimatum after an attempt to kidnap him by pirates. He was held captive aboard the vessel for a few hours before breaking free and taking command of the vessel in the chaos that [member="Lord Mythos"] caused when he tried to rescue Ultimatum. The ship was in a serious state of disrepair and the hyperdrive was nonfunctional. After a heroic act on Mythos’ part, the hyperdrive was energized enough to work once.

The ship was brought back to Mustafar where it spent months in the Foresight shipyard repairing the vessel and updating various components. While the ship was being repaired, Ultimatum went with a small group of allies to the planet Aeten II where they mined a large quantity of Stygium crystals. The finest of the crystals Ultimatum took and brought back to be used in the stealth generator on the ship. The vessel’s inside was somewhat rearranged due to Ultimatum’s need for a factory and want of a molecular furnace. He needed a factory so that he could continue to work even if Mustafar should be taken, which became a wise decision with the takeover by the Galactic Alliance. While he was allowed to maintain control of the planet under the galactic power, Ultimatum feared that some of his projects would be taken and thus he would need a new work area for his tests.

The Sovereignty would also need a constant supply, or near there to, of materials to keep the factory running. To this end, Ultimatum wanted a Molecular Furnace, which breaks down a material’s physical structure to create new substances, so that any waste materials from the ship and anything within the ship could be used to continue its running. Ultimatum calculated it as a temporary measure, the furnace would not be able to keep up with the demands of the ship for longer than a month, an optimistic viewpoint, and thus restocking of most necessities would be required.

Due to the fact that a factory and the ship as a whole would require a large number of materials and resources to continue running, Ultimatum had the cargo capacity increased by about one third. Further to make certain that this new mobile base was not undefended, the weaponry systems of the ship were augmented by additional weapons. All these additional systems required more space. In order to allow this, Ultimatum ordered the cutting back of the organic crew and passenger living quarters. From 700 potential organic living spaces, there are only 200 left. This number would not have even been wanted, except that there was no reason for their removal and it allowed Ultimatum to hold guests. Beyond that, due to the fact that the engine is maintained by droids there is less space in the engine room that is then used for the factory.

The ship has been changed to be run by either a massive droid brain structure that has become the ship computer, or the droid compliment. The ship is capable of running by itself without any outside interference. The ship’s factory has also the ability to act as a repair shop for the droid’s that work on the vessel, and it too is automated in such a way that it does not require any organic workers.

Deck Plans: The ship keeps similar overall design to its original ship layout. However, the engine rooms have been downsized, but the engines have maintained the same size. On some floors, the living quarters have been removed and replaced by either the Molecular furnace, or part of the factory. Mess halls have been destroyed for similar purposes. The same happened with part of the hangar spaces.

Development Thread:
Collecting the ship: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/64842-we-fight-because-we-must-open/
Collecting Stygium: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/69423-into-shadow-under-shade/
(Stygium thread is still ongoing, however the collection of crystals is complete)

Intent: To create a homebase for Ultimatum to work from should Mustafar fall. More of a story place than something going to be used in an attack (In fact it will probably only take part in story lines that are more centered around Ultimatum definitely not Invasions, Dominions, etc.)

Who Can Use This: Ultimatum, those explicitly given IC permission

Maneuverability Rating:4

this is a bit high. Ships this size generally have a maneuvering of 8 to 9. It is just more difficult to turn a ship than move it in a straight direction. I usually let things slide down 2 with listing it as a strength then beyond that needs dev. With the 35 posts of dev and unique production maneuvering 4 is good. just do the following and it is good to go.

Please list Maneuvering as a strength

After some discussion it was decided that 4 is just too low for a ship this size regardless of the development.

Please make the Maneuvering 6

Unfortunately it may be awhile, the posting pace for that thread is slow. I do not have an ETA for when it may end. I am fine with this going into the archives until the thread is done if you would prefer.
