GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Group Name: The Sorority for Liberty
  • Classification: Political organisation/Background criminal operations
  • Headquarters: Malachor V/Nar Shaddaa
  • Loyalties: The Sith Ascendancy if any, mostly independent
  • Group Sigil: As seen above
  • Description: The Hopeless Sorority is a group of like-minded individuals, particularly fixated on the idea of 'Beauty through Death'. No formal structure is really to be seen here, apart from one direct sole leader. Its membership consists of mostly low class individuals, engaging in petty street crime to make ends meet. In comparison to other individuals, they are often labelled as "freaks" and "outcasts", and often only find happiness in their solitary society.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy:
Mother - Where the mother chooses their own successor
  • Premier at Large - Political leader, often seen
  • Director - In charge of various economic re distributions of wealth in their spheres of influence
  • Crown Athena - Specific title given to the Mother's daughter until death
  • Everybody else - To elaborate, people are not considered above others, they don't take direct orders unless from those listed above

[*]Membership: Membership is not limited in any sense, the difficulty in joining is that there really is no formal aspect of joining. If you hang out with them, you can basically call yourself a member. Should you choose to progress though, you would need to be in direct contact with Mother.
[*]Dogma/Doctrines:
  • Equality - I suppose you could describe this as some sort of offset communism, but they seriously dislike any form of social or economic hierarchy. In their eyes, everyone should be equal in all aspects
  • Devotion - True members will show complete and utter devotion to Mother, they hold her as some sort of religious icon
  • Beauty through death - This does not mean they worship suicide, but they admire the beauty in death and see that it should be graceful. Often, should they kill anybody, they will see that their body is put to rest with a proper burial. Cremation is seen as taboo.

[*]Curios: There's no specific things that they all wear, but let's just say it's not difficult to spot them in a crowd. They are quite distinct from your regular citizen.
[*]Goals: Bring down the bourgeoisie! Or, gain power in Nar Shaddaa

Mother Li Xiao - Founding mother, 56 years old and is seen as an icon and a blessing to the mortals of this world. She posses no supernatural powers, no specific skills, but the membership would do anything to protect her. Being with it from the start to now, she is seeking to consolidate power and achieve her true life goal of bringing the workers of the galaxy under one group; with her as its leader.

Premier at Large 'Alpha' - Shrouded in mystery, chooses others to do his dirty work and is only known by his codename as of current

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The group was originally formed on the basis it was would be a genuine political organisation, hoping to bring genuine change to the systems of Nar Shaddaa and Malachor V, probably the most corrupt of them all. Li Xiao, current Mother, saw this as an opportunity, and through several connections slowly transformed the original meaning, one of spreading the word of peace and love to back stabbings. Ever so surely, she also became fixated on the group's new message, 'Beauty through death', and took inspiration from her former portfolios as an art student to appeal to the masses.

To this day, it still astounds people why they use such impractical costumes, but I suppose you could say that is the reason they are still around. Membership grows from art school and fashion designer drop outs, looking to enact revenge on the people who called them 'misfits'.

The group's real goal? They don't have a fixed one. The closest one they do have is Mother's collective on establishing a genuine presence on Nar Shaddaa, and one day, rid it of the corruption which has poisoned it for the last thousand years, ironically, by doing corrupt things herself. Would they ever create a revolution? Possibly, but that is not within their current scale of power, choosing to do specific operations with limited resources, and possibly assist those willing to spend a pretty penny.
