Establish Contacts

The business of crime was beginning to flourish once again.

Now that his contract had been set up to deal spice within the Core Worlds, the pirate had guaranteed himself insane amounts of profit. He knew of those willing to spend big money on spice. And those people were going to make him, and his associates, very rich.

His only problem was his lack of smugglers working for him. The last few he had dropped their cargo after some Confederacy interference. They are currently being transported to one of the many slave operations on Karazak. Part of the reason the pirate wanted to meet on this planet.

One of the new smugglers he wanted to hire was based out of Pamarthe, so the flight here shouldn’t take him too much longer. But if this man was as good as the Captain had heard, then it might just be worth the wait.

Seated in one of the Sandy Sarlacc’s back rooms, the pirate waited with a glass of Port In A Storm. Pyrrah took pride in being able to drink the beverage with ease, despite not being a Pamarthen. Two guards stood at the entrance, waiting for the contact to arrive.

It should be a most interesting meeting indeed.

Karazak was a cesspool of a world. It was hot, there were slavers at every corner, and the booze was less than satisfactory. But his mission was important, and it kept some of the worst threats from even reaching the ears of citizens in the Galactic Alliance. At least, that's what he'd thought until the Maw had struck at Csilla. They weren't exactly a threat the GA yet, the Chiss were weak from thousands of years of isolationism, but they were growing in power. Even out here in the Outer Rim.

"Hang out on the Edge," he mused to himself as he entered the Sandy Sarlacc. Today was not a day to be worried about the Maw. Today he was meeting the captain of the infamous Blue Pearl. Pyrrah Tae - Access to The Exchange, connections to the Pykes and other various Underground Groups, including the upstart pumping Spice into Coruscant codenamed 'Viper'.

When he made his way into the backroom though he was decidedly underwhelmed.

"You Captain Tae?" He didn't wait for an answer and flopped down into a seat, kicking his boots onto the table. His heavy blaster pistol leaned precariously out of its holster as if the Pamarthen could care less if it fell or not. With a flourish he brandished his Honor Blade and started picking at his fingernails with it.

"What do ye need moved an' where?"

His gaze followed the man as he came into the room.

The two guards positioned at the door tensed up slightly, almost startled by the unbothered person that barged in. As he sat down and started to unsheath his blade, the pirate waved his hand towards the door. Silently the two guards left, now positioned outside.

“Yes, my name is Captain Tae. I was told you were one of the best smugglers this side of the Rim.”

Pressing a button on the table in front of him, a holoprojector turned on to reveal a map. There were two points labeled on it: Corva Yag and Kor Vett.

“On Corva Yag there are two mid-sized shipments, each with precious cargo. You will travel to the planet of Kor Vett and drop of the cargo there. No Hyperlanes or passage through Confederacy space.”

Leaning back, the pirate rested his hands together, studying the man. If word had been true, then this should be a simple task for the smuggler. This was more of a…test, of sorts, to see if he is a trustworthy contact.
