Dunno if the stuff to make this is known by this faction (part of me feels like it is) but who's down with goin out to find a holocron with the blueprints to make these?

I'm looking for story, not just being able to make one, so if the OS can make em no issue, I'm still lookin for people to go on an adventure.

My guess if you wanted to get really serious about building one of these, you'd probably go to Yavin and scour a Massassi temple where they were used extensively, though their version is entirely different requiring brute strength to fire rather than mechanical or force based action, and can be used as an ax. To discover the actual mechanical lanvarok, I would just visit Korriban, which is soon to be in allied territory (Primeval), so you have an excuse as to why you might be making a pilgrimage there. Additionally, they don't look overly complicated, and are fairly primitive weapons. Obviously it becomes more dangerous when it's protected by Cortosis, which might be the bulk of what you'd be doing with it.

Ehh, Zambrano isn't really the searchy-buildy type, he's the more be-useless-and-counter-productive type. Though if you need someone to hold you back by constantly trying to cause you pain, (and if you promise not to kill him for these deluded innocent attempts), he might join. Maybe, he's kinda in a tense spot right now story wise. He's experiencing visions of his past incarnations as he arrives at locations that are connected to his past (ala, crying of grief in a Jedi temple for Harma Chael, finding solace in his own tomb on Korriban, and having memories of his last days as Darth Durablis on Korriban, as his grandson Darth Voracitos calls out to him from the Netherworld).

I'm not sure I have much room for much of anything new at the moment.

Why do you need this? Full disclosure, you're already a Sith Lord and a master of all seven forms of lightsaber combat at 32 years old for your character. You have a crossbow also. No offense, but this is verging on being OP.

I like collecting and building stuff. On top of that, Iridonian Weaponry could use some more brutal tools to achieve the mission statement.

Yes, but you already have a powerful missile weapon. Collecting umpteen gizmos for the sake of it...ok, yeah we are playing space wizards, but be somewhat more realistic about things. A warrior didn't carry many weapons. In addition, mastering a new weapons system takes time.

I can see why some people on this site gripe about the Sith faction.

At no point, however, did I say I was going to be using it. At no point did I say Krest was a master of it. This is a simple quest for RP on something that I don't need to make a thread for, and could just link to my profile if I wanted Krest to have it.

I've been using lanvaroks since about ten years ago. I keep using them more for sentimental value than for tactical value. If you're going to put in the work, just be aware that unless you use them just right they're really, really poor weapons.

Technically, you can guide the projectiles with the force. I'm sure you could also mod it a bit to form a deadly weapon in the manner desired.

While they're not that great, it never hurts to have options.

But again, the purpose of this is to go out and explore ruins for the sake of RP. There's nothing to be gained OOCly such as powerful weapons, but plenty to be gained in just general character progression.

I suppose it'd be possible to modify the canon version to make it more useful. Maybe some heat-seekers, explosive projectiles, etc. Just a thought.
