Jedi Hunter
You and I
"You certainly know how to pick them." she had said as their eyes locked. The corner of the left side of her lips tilted upward into a rare smile she reserved only for Alana, "That I do.." DuCray said softly. How she already loved that sweet accent of hers. There was so much that she loved about her already. DuCray knew she was in deep, that was the problem. Her heart clenched wondering if she could reciprocate knowing the things DuCray had done... had to do still. Instead she stayed in this perfect moment for as long as she could as she drank her in with her grey eyes that sparked with amusement as Alana blushed a deep crimson. Could Alana love her..? Fall in love with her?
"Oy!" she chuckled as the other woman struck her teasingly in her side. Suddenly she craved her closeness over the breakfast, DuCray took the other womans face in her hand, turning her head to face her, cradling the other side of her face with her other hand too as a memory was shared unknowingly from DuCray to her. How she reached out the first time in the training facility for her face that time, a buried sense of concern that time, enveloped by a loving one in this moment. DuCray really looked at her now, committing her face to memory. They were bonded.
DuCray leaned in and her nose brushed the tip of hers as she whispered "Wherever I go... I will always come back to you, Alana." she meant it. "..because I lo-.." the words immediately fell away as she stopped herself from saying anything further, overwhelmed by the emotions she felt for the other woman. It was nearly paralyzing because if Alana asked her to, she would leave everything behind. The Empire, the Sith, the war, all of it. DuCray bit her lip and cleared her throat as she confessed "You were right.. About making Florn our home. But I know one thing for certain." she started and sealed it with a deep kiss 'You're my home.' her words gently spoke in Alana's mind. The beautiful Sith had breathed life into DuCray. A new life she never knew could exist. Breakfast was long forgotten as she shed the other womans robe from her shoulder to place a kiss to her clavicle.
