The Secret of Hoth (Open)

After searching the cave for a few minute, HK 42 comes back out from the cave with a few pieces of Clone armor and some blaster rifles, which he places on the ground in front of the feet of[member="Flannigan Mcnash"] and[member="Pavor Clauditis"]. HK 42 heads back into the cave saying:

"Statement:We have found the cave we were looking for."

"Request: I need a hacker in here immediately"

Statement:There is another area that is locked off by a large, magnetic door."

Snow drifts would swirl across the vast white of Wampa Valley, the only sounds the steady crunching of snow from the Tauntaun Micah rode along with his quickening breath.

It was a bit more difficult to breathe here, but he was sticking it out. A little bit of physical training never hurt anyone. He could have made it easier by using breath control and the Force, but that felt a bit too much like cheating. Perhaps he was a bit too much like his mother there; best not use it unless he absolutely had to.

He didn't believe in crutches.

Two bright amber eyes would peer from under the tinted lenses of his face mask, the steaming air of his breath puffing out in a small cloud of condensation through the thick scarf he wore to protect his lower face. At twelve, Micah Draith Shamalain Talith was starting to shoot into the early signs of manhood. His face was a bit more angular, his hair beginning to lose it's baby blonde locks, and the years spent training with his father and mother leaning his body of the baby fat. He was toned, but he was still a boy; just caught in between that pre teen angst those his age were wont to do.

This particular adventure dealt with exploration and a bit of training. Survival training to be precise -- we won't mention the entire details of it to his mother. It was as much a test on physical stamina as it was to test out his mental smarts.

Plus, who didn't like hunting Wampas?

.... there was supposedly one of legend called Unkajo around here....

Taking a couple of steps forward the snow crunching underneath Tiali's feet "Ok Flanny.... But you're paying me straight after this ok!"

He moves towards the direction Flannigan had ordered him mumbling to himself, He launches into the air with his jet pack away from the group.

He scans the area for any threats spotting only one or two but it's also hard since majority of the animals and creatures on this planet blend in with the snow. Raising his rist com to his helmet "They're some here keep a look out when traveling Flanagan and Caden It's easy to miss something in a place like this." He continues to Scan the area reporting in anything that may interest Flannigan and Caden.

Hoth, Wampa Valley
--1400 hours

It was the first adventure she had gone on. The first real adventure, her first voluntary adventure. Hoth, offered its cold embrace as the girl’s breath formed cloud after cloud of vapor to hover off into nothing. Mother unaware of the aversion and the risks reaching beyond mere catastrophe there was little Kai would do but glee. This was exactly what she had waited for, the opportunity to get out and see things with the risk of never seeing anything else ever again.

“It’s like the opposite of home.” Kai’s voice was muffled through her wool mask. “Cold, windy, dangerous...”

She turned to look at her brother. He was the one who had talked her into it, pressed all the right buttons as he usually did. At least there wasn’t a snowstorm going. Now that, if anything, could prove problematic.

“Do you see anything?” She asked. “Anything to locate this thing?”

Who didn’t like hunting Wampas? Hylo. Hylo didn’t like hunting Wampas. The youth didn’t like the planet. No give him a nice warm jungle over the cold ice. At least in the jungle he could get naked and photosynthesize. Why would anyone go to the Wampa Valley? Seriously why?

He sighed and looked over at Micah, his eyes squinting through the wet goggles. This was dumb. Hylo shifted a little on his Tauntaun. Of course Micah could convince him to come along. Why not. With a frown he continued on. The least Micah and Kaili could have done was offer to share one of the beasts of burden… not that he’d get to enjoy that being wrapped up in so many layers.

Well at least he was warm and dry a bodysuit protecting him from the elements along with perhaps a half dozen layers. Still he prefered tight clothing. “What exactly are we doing out here again?” he asked his lips starting to turn an aqua blue from the chill. Okay maybe some of him was cold, but he was an evergreen he could take it.

"What are we doing?" Micah would repeat, a crooked grin under his layer of scarfs, voice slightly muffled. "Riding a Tauntaun." he'd joke, turning over to look at Kai.

"Well..." his Tauntaun would shift under him, grunting and blowing twin streams of hot breath into the chilly air. Everything was just WHITE. Everywhere.

"They don't call this Wampa Valley for no reason," he'd start, shuffling a bit to take out a small datapad. A press of a few buttons would reveal a small holographic map.

"We can probably head north here," he'd gesture, frowning a bit as he would mull their path. "There are some caves along there. Maybe we can find Wampas there." he then slid his finger across the display, revealing deeper canyons.

"Oooooooorrr... we can go here."

Poro

Poro want a Poro Snack!
As the three children sat upon their tauntauns, a shuffling of many small padded feet across snow started to build in the distance, over a hill. Soon after that, the sounds of frightened squeaking quickly grew into a chorus as a stampede of ropos bounded down the hill towards the children on mounts. There must have been about 30 of the ropos, running towards and in between the legs of the tauntauns.

This would cause quite a stir amongst the tauntauns and lead them to start moving about. They largely missed the ropo population, except for when one ropo got smooshed down into the soft snow by one of the broad feet. When the tauntaun moved away, the children would find a ropo stuck halfway in the snow, it's chest weakly rising and falling, it's eyes shut.

The rest of the ropo herd ran off, leaving their compatriot and the children behind to listen to the too close howls of a large beast.

It was up to Kaili to decide? No, really, it was up to her? She followed her brother’s finger as it slid across the map indicating points of interest. No, she wasn’t the best at making decisions. Either she went with the exciting route or the safer route. It was like picking apples and oranges in the sense that they both tasted awesome and she wanted one right now.

Nonetheless she opened her mouth to speak as her voice muffled through her mask.

“I say wampa-...” Wait, that was a weird noise. “Do you hear that?”

With a quick turn around the girl widened her eyes in surprise as she suddenly found herself staring down upon an ascending herd of... Ropos?!

“Um, Micah...” She turned to her brother. “Is this you messing with us again? Because I swear after your last joke...”
