Conspiracy is a nebulous thing. Easily dismissed by the uninitiated. When you stand among institutions built upon legacy, autocracy and tyranny there comes a belief which cannot tolerate, nor consider, that beneath their spectre of dominance exists something that should not be, or could not be. After all, they are the ones that are in control of these transient events. With their machines, their guns, and their technological marvels. These plans were shaped by them because they are the strong, and they are the powerful. So it could not be someone else, or something else, that edged towards the precipice. They are in control, remember that.

Lianna is going through it. Imperial patrols have quadrupled in recent times. People are disappearing almost daily, and their friends, or family-- their work, colleagues, and associates-- keep hearing these rumours, sometimes passed on by story, about the most minor of infractions resulting in the most absurd, and quite frankly, unfair punishments. Agitators, was the common phrase, for even the most docile, and subservient of the Liann caste. Security, is the excuse. The brass keep being told, and reminded, that it was not too long ago that these people were rioting in the streets, and besmirching their Imperial protectors. A blind eye keeps itself turned away. Remember, they are still in control.

They are reminded daily that it was them who attacked the Empire first. No, it wasn't their government at the time, for most of them, but they were your people, and so you are the ones dealing with the consequences of Tion to this day. Remember the Fifth Wing. Keep it held in your heart for what they did to the people. Saboteurs, seditionists, and espionage. They kept your predecessor weak, and vulnerable. But you are not like them. So, the message has been clear since the beginning of the second occupation: you cannot co-exist with them. There cannot be a revival of Imperialism so long as they are there threatening you. Dark Masters of the Stygian Caldera. Sith.

Remember, these are your ideas.

Tranquil lights illuminate the top of the office atop a pyramid built by the ancients behind Childhood. Holographic relays detailing charts, security movements, and fleet positions across the Outer Rim systems are played before the enigmatic Her, as she stands above the Liann dystopia, to take into consideration that in a matter of days those tyrants, and autocrats, whom she knew as her associates among the Imperial Remnants, were on the precipice of attacking the Thandon Star Cluster for a second time. Corporate interests, political ambitions, and dreams of reviving the tenants of the New Order served as an amalgamated star empire they called the Imperial Confederation.

Remember, this was their idea, their decision, their move.

Win, or bust.
