Turin O'Nar
Character
The comfort of the desert is death.. that all grows quiet, and there are so few souls to pollute it with their sins. Here in the lapping grains, Turin had found a measure of peace, in his cave with moisture evaporators, and his mechanical companions. One of them appearing as hologram of a fair lady welcoming him,
"Welcome home Master."
Turin going over to the makeshift refrigerator that he had scavenged, Inside was a flask that he took out and began to drink.
"I told you not to call me that.."
She replied in her blue glowing translucent body,
"I am sorry Master.. I mean.. Turin."
He sat down on tan plush chair made from Tuskan wares and the hides of Banthas.
"Aurora.. I am sorry that you are trapped here. I am trying to find a disk to be able to transfer you too.. alas I am not a rich man."
The Hologram woman smiling said,
"I am happy to be of service where I am."
Turin with a glazed look said,
"I wish I could know such contentment.. they train that out of you in the Jedi Temple. The goal is to have irresistible craving for more.. to know the Force. To get drunk on it."
Aurora crossing her arms said,
"Were you happy as Jedi?"
He let out a belch, and his twisted bear touch his chest below his neck.
"Being a Jedi was.. a nusicance. Everyone pawing at you to help them in the poor districts, others spitting on you, blaming you for all the ills that befell them, and those.. Murders in black hoods hunting you.. nah.. I do not miss it."
Aurora sighing as she took some steps from projector letting her step out near him.
"What is it like?"
Turin turning to her,
"The Force?"
She nodding.
"Its is a madness.. it flows through the whole of you.. urging you to catch The Wind, and the day you do.. well you find out that a kite is lassoed to your arms and it pulls you in directions you do not want to go.. sometimes very dark places."
Aurora sighing,
"I wish I could feel it.."
Turin shook his head,
"No you don't.. it has caused untold chaos in the galaxy.. and more deaths than any multitude of walls could ever properly count."
Aurora retorted,
"Surly its not all death?"
Turin looking down began to think of her, the One he had loved so intensely, and no that haunted his dreams.
"No.. its worse.."
