"A long time ago in a separate era, probably after the fall of the Old Republic, there was a time when peace came back to the Galaxy. There was no central power, but lots of local ones. And trade was flourishing. At this time there was a Baron and he served an Empress of all of three systems. Or maybe it was four. So this Empress was in love with the Baron, but the Baron had his eyes set on someone else. The Empress's own younger sister. So of course she ordered the Baron to execute her. He was bound by his oath to her and unless he did as she ordered she would strip him of all his money. His power.
So guess what he did? He spat on the Empress and rescued his love and escaped aboard his flagship, then began gathering his security forces. The Baron was the first Iron Wolf. He created the Sacred Order of the Wolf Star. The members were Knights all and sworn brothers. Men of honor and courage. And together they led a revolt that overthrew the Empress. They pillaged her planets and plundered her treasure worlds. Wreaking havoc on her navy, in their time they were the fiercest wolves among the stars.
It is on us that lies the burden of carrying on their tradition. For we are the Star Wolves, and we follow the old Reavers code and none other. We obey our thirst for gold, creds and shiny things and nothing else. We hunt all who are weak enough to fall prey to our harpoons. No quarter, No mercy."
