The Orb of Hrafnar
Pleasure and Pain
Manufacturer: Lord Sebastian & T'zanith Zebron
Model: Ring
Affiliation: T'zanith Zebron
Modularity: No

Material: Alcamized Durasteel, Offering Crystal, Lignan Crystal, Alchemized Devaronian Blood Poison Crystal
Classification: Ring
Size: One-finger
Length: fits around T'zanith's middle finger
Weight: -
Special Features:
-The casing is strengthened with alchemy that makes it resistant to lightsabers. The Crystals give it stronger resistance and if fused with the force can make a small Shield to guard against blaster bolts as well as offensive based force attacks with lower attack power than the user
- Increases the power of illusions
- Staring into the gem causes it's victims to hallucinate and be dominated by their greatest fear.
-Passive Force Enhancement: Due to the presence of the force imbued within the crystal it resonates with the force itself, and carries no alignment towards either the light or the dark. The crystal passively enhances the quality of the force, which could be compared to an unrefined edge on a blade to a now-refined, sharp, bladed edge - the former being without the crystal, the latter being with its presence. This does not make the wielder capable of calling on more than they would be capable originally, but does somewhat amplify the output of power to a modest degree. (Copied from the Offering crystals page and changed a little of the wording)
Description: The Rings's casing is made of alcamized Durasteel so that it could be used, though highly unwise, block a lightsaber. and the Offering Crystal Manipulated and shaped with alchemy into the holding bellow the Lingan crystal increases this and makes it able to project a small shield of force energy, ,the size of a large dinner plate, to block blaster shots and low level offensive force attacks. To do this the wearer has to focus force energy into the ring and gesture with the hand the ring is on to project the shield in front of the hand.
The Lignan gem that is cased and effectively infused into the Durasteel casing around it as well as the offering crystal under it is infused with Devaronian Blood Poison. The process began with the Lignan Ores that his master used a furnace to refine into a Crystal using Devaronian Blood Poison to fuel to fire and fuse with the crystal's insides. Upon using alchemy, his master took a Sith woman that was in love with him and consumed her with Summon Fear and then destroyed her with Shadow Shaping. T'zanith then boiled the Orb made from the Crystal fusion in the blood of the woman using Sith Lightning to fuse it all and make three gems. While a lignan is meant for all dark side powers, this one focuses on Summon Fear and Shadow shaping due to the blood that is was alchemized in. If a person looks into the gem when T'zanith pours the force into it causing it to glow, the onlooker will be overtaken by Summon Fear which will cause them to experience their worst fears to the point of hysteria. The power of Summon Fear is powerful, but the duration is based on many variables like rank, NPC or PC, willpower, ability to resist mental attacks and so forth. . The gems only increase the control and effect of the abilities, the power is increased by a simple increment ie it won't make knight level attacks hit a prepared master level, but will make the knight level abilities more likely to work and able to last longer.
The gems enhance the power of illusions as well as the effectiveness and control over them. If the target has no fear it will merely make them feel a lot of pain, but the lightside stronger than T'zanith's ability or a will power stronger than the pain can overcome the hallucinations (in RP terms IF this ability gets used on a PC a PM will be shared with them where we will decide how it will be used and how long it will last that will be fair.) The hallucinations are more for NPCs controlled by the wearer of the ring. The gem is not indestructible. While if T'zanith stays within his own ability the gem will continue to aid his abilities, if he over exerts himself and draws too much on the gem it will crack and then shatter being of no more use until replaced.
A single crystal found on the planet where Braith slept was added to the rings base, after being shaped with alchemy to fit under the durasteel casing and would help hold the Lingan Crystal. It still has the ability of the Offering Crystal and the crystals inherent drawbacks. Now this ring acts like a lightning rod for the Force in a way. He can use it to almost like a focusing lens to enhance his abilities slightly, with a few functions added. For example, the ring can emanate Force Lightning or Fire Shaping. It can also create a very small Force Barrier which the wearer can use it to deflect attacks as long as it is possible for the users power to deflect them in the first place. While the ring can harness the force, if does not wield it so with the Crystals alone it does not create Force abilities and is subject to whatever the user can and cannot do. This does not apply to the Lingan gem however as it doesn't tie into the Offering crystals abilities.
