Intent: To create a holdout weapon capable of being useful in many situations
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: Merr-Sonn, Inc.
Model: The Ra & Isley Surprise
Affiliation: [member="Isley Verd"] (He may give them as he sees fit) // [member=Valashu Elahad]
Modularity: None
Production: Limited

Material: MerrTitan // Ra's Blade Edge

Classification: Battle Hatchet Slugthrower
Size: Handheld
Length: 45.72 cm (Includes Pommel)
Weight: 3 kg
Ammunition Type: Slugs
Ammunition Capacity: 12
Effective Range: Low Range (Decent Close Quarters)

Rate of Fire: Slow Single Shot

Special Features:
  • Shoots Slug Rounds
  • Heavy Damage/Lightsaber Resistance
  • Rubber Grip Underlay
Strengths:
  • [ MerrTitan, Son! ] ~ The Ra & Isley Surprise, are crafted with a dense microlattice of MerrTitan, resulting in the weapon being heavily light weight but extremely durable
  • [ Ra's Edge, its Sharp if You Catch May Drift ] ~ As described in the submission, the Blade Edge is incredibly sharp, able to cut through armors up, even those known to be durable. Even once the edge is too heavily broken down, there will be retained a decent razor point as MerrTitan retains its shape unless against the heaviest of damaging
Weaknesses:
  • [ Cold, Cold, Cold!!! ] ~ Should this item be exposed to the cold, it amplifies the temperature - its wielder must be wary!
  • [ Boom......Boom ] ~ Severely slow firing rate, as this is a hold out weapon, one meant to surprise not win a gunfight with
  • [ Zzzzzzzt ] ~ While the make up metal acts as a honing rod for electricity, this weapon is not so much, thanks to its rubber underlay. That being said, it is still very dangerous, as would be expected, to get shocked by electricity wielding a metal weapon, rubber insulator or not
Description: Valashu once stood mid battle, a Dominion of a planet he couldn't care less of, and watched as allies were given hatchets as a means of showing respect. This intrigued him, and was one of the biggest things that led to his becoming a Mandalorian. He wanted to understand their ways, their methods, what they honored and what they despised.

After being indoctrinated to their ways, Valashu felt humbled. A culture so enveloped in their own people, but every bit as much as battle... it was so like the Jensaarai-Ka of his home universe. He felt he needed to give something back, something to show his loyalty. So he had this idea established.

At first appearance the Special is simply just a powerful hatchet, lightweight as all hell. However, upon a minute switch being pressed by thumb (scanner imbedded so as not to misuse) on the base of the pommel, the hidden trigger and other piece slide from hiding to their correct position. Alongside this is the opening of a whole along the head of the axe, where slugs are fired when able.

Yes, it can have its ammo refilled, making it able to continue, but mid battle this is impossible. One will need at minimum 3 minutes, plus, to properly reload this weapon.

Primary Source: All mentioned in the sub prior

Note: This weapon can cut through medium armors with ease. It might breach heavy, but will take many swings, likely costing one the integrity of their Blade Edge.

This should still retain the weaknesses of the metal

Electricity would jump. The metal is already an attractant of electricity, more than usual. Rubber is not a conductor and the easiest place for the electricity to go would be your hand.

This is not a lightsaber. Please elaborate what exactly it is able to cut through.

No rubber is not a conductor, it is an insulator. Hence my not believing it necessary to add a now logical notion to a metal weapon. The insulator would protect moderately against electrical surges. While yes, it would jump, so too it would on all metal products, yet I do not see them as needing this mention as its common sense.

I will edit the cutting capabilities now.

Yes, if specifically states with ease. (Minus the 'with' lol cause forgot the word).

A weight lifter may bench press a hundred and fifty, thirty times. But only twice three hundred. It can be done, doesn't mean it can be done much. I will make note though.
