"It'll be easy they said. Just clear the cave of some thieves they said. What's the worst that could happen? None of those damned farmers told me they'd have slugthrowers."
Reina grumbled away to herself, as she wrapped a simple bandage over her upper arm, wincing in pain as she tugged to tighten it, before using her shark-like teeth to rip through the fabric. This mercenary work was already turning out to be a lot more rough than being a fishermen. She had hoped it would be a lot more simpler than trying to be a Jedi but it turns out her hopes were very much wrong. At the very least, she'd be able to go and get her payment when she went back to those farms. Though she still had a fair few jobs to do before she headed back.
The first job was done, bandaging up her wounds. Turns out that trying to cut through a shot fired your way by a slugthrower with a sword wasn't the smartest idea, evident by the two holes that were in Reina's upper arm. Who'd have thought? Second job was what she was getting to work now. Grabbing a simple shovel to start digging a fair few holes. It was hard work...but it was respect that she had to give to the lives she had taken. No matter how much her former master might have thought that Reina wanted to become a heartless killer, it was far the opposite. She had wanted to be able to protect people. She had wanted to be a Knight that could protect people from the dark. But...it seemed like that was not in the cards for her. She was a student without a teacher. A warrior without a purpose. A wandering soul moving from planet to planet to learn what she could, whilst earning what she could.
With the holes dug, Reina proceeded to move the bodies, carefully placing them in all of the holes she had dug for them before filling them in. Shovel by shovel, dirt by dirt. There were other routes she could have taken. Burial at sea, cremation, or some other manner of corpse disposal...Yet she wasn't sure what would have been agreeable. At the end of the day, through this method, the thieves would be able to give back to the planet, fertilising the soil. Perhaps it was morbid but it was the best way for Reina to comfort herself over what she had done.
Now that the burials, Reina fell to her knees gently, placing the blade of Whisperwind against her lap whilst taking out a small cloth. Letting herself fall into the push and pull of the Force, as she went over her third job now that the fight was over. She took care of herself. She took care of those she had killed. Now she takes care of her tool. Using the cloth to slowly but surely wash away the dirt and grim, her hand being guided by the Force itself.
It would be a process that took a reasonable amount of time...but Reina felt comfortable. The farmers could wait. It wasn't as if they expected her to bring all of their goods back by herself in the first place. It was more than likely going to take two trips going back to the farm and then back to the cave to help carry the supplies back.
"...Maybe I should ask if they'll pay me double...Of course I'll probably have to report this to the Mandalorians. Not sure how they'll take to thieves in their territory."
A small teasing grin spread across her face afterwards at that thought, before she shook her head to dismiss it and focus on her meditation.
