The Power of the Dark Side (Prison Break)

[youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShqkBC9zmWM[/youtube]

Sith Knight Mullarus sat in the cockpit of Patriot, his Charger Assault Freighter, as it made it's way through hyperspace en route to its destination. This was to be a special operations mission featuring himself, his entourage of stormtroopers, including [member="Tormax Ategann"], and the blonde Sith Knight he had met on Korriban, [member="Greta Kohler"]. It had something to do with getting themselves arrested and thrown into a prison to break out the imprisoned Sith supporters. However, when sent the coordinates by the ex-soldier, it was to a location he had not been before, nor did his galaxy map have any details on.

Jackal squad was busy preparing themselves for the mission. Mullarus had reccomended that they not even wear their stormtrooper uniforms to this mission. They would only be taken out of them anyway. The Sith Knight switched on the holodesk in the meeting room aboard his vessel and contacted the golden-haired Sith Knight. "Knight Kohler, Jackal Squad and I are en route to your coordinates. Where exactly are we going? The coordinates you sent me lead to a section of space not in my galaxy map." It was a bit exhilarating, exploring new sections of space, but also worrying. What could be lying out there?

It was weird for Tormax to not be wearing his armor. It wasn't like he wore it 24/7 but to be going on a mission where wearing armor wasn't recommended was a new experience. On the flip side it was nice to almost seem like a civilian again, to be a regular guy aboard a Sith Assault Freighter heading straight for a prison... Yeah, right, he thought.

A prison break... We have to go in with no gear, and manage to get back out, along with a bunch of prisoners. No problem. Like the Colonel, Tormax didn't know where they were going, just what they had to do. He didn't have the force like the Colonel, but he was going to make sure he wasn't a waste of space on this mission. Hopefully.

The planet in question would be none other than Carratos herself. Carratos was a planet in the Inner Rim, one whose terrain was mainly dominated by urban landscapes. A One Sith controlled planet, there was a One Sith garrison established on the planet to watch the local populace, but the planet was never stable. Filled with all sorts of criminals, thugs, pirates, and who knows what, the world was a place where crime had became part of an everyday life. Several crime lords had came together, forming a pact between them, and eventually took over the planet, declaring the One Sith as deposed.

They stormed the One Sith leaders place of residence and murdered the planetary governor of the Carratos, hereby taking over rule of the world. They built an Anti-Sith prison, where all supporters of the One Sith were to be imprisoned. In short, the organised crime cartel of Carratos had taken over the planet and arrested all One Sith sympathizers. One Sith intelligence had gotten critical information that there were several key members in the prison that were beneficial to the One Sith and they were to be rescued. There was no strategic importance to invade the planet with military might, and anything short of an armed military response would see the prison break unsuccessful. It would have to be from the inside.

Greta was already planet side when she received the message from Mullarus, the associate she would be working with. They would be going undercover, getting themselves captured and begin the inside operation to free the targets in the prison. She then began sending the following message back to her fellow knight. "Enter planet coordinates of Carratos, in the Inner Rim. See you there." With the message done, she went to see about getting herself captured. Mullarus knew the mission as well. He'd be fine.

Carratos. It certainly wasn't a world Mullarus had ever heard of. He paced around the room for a moment before calling Jackal squad to him by the holodesk.

Like them, Mullarus was dressed more like a civilian. He wore a simple red t-shirt, denim jeans, and his preferred leatheris jacket and gloves. To top off his "Scum and Villainy" fashion, he even drew on some crude, intimidating face 'tattoos'. Most people who looked at him would assume he was a thug who belonged in prison, which was exactly what he was going for.

Jackal squad was all dressed in civilian clothes as well. This was the first time he would see [member="Tormax Ategann"] outside of uniform. He was fairly surprised to see the young Private to be about the same age as himself. "I'm afraid you will all be leaving your weapons here, troopers. We're trying to get ourselves arrested today." he pulled up all of the information his holo had on the planet Carratos, which wasnt much.

"We will be meeting with a fellow Sith Knight, [member="Greta Kohler"]. Like you lot, she used to be an imperial soldier. A leiutenant, if I heard right, so she certainly knows her stuff. You five will be travelling with me to the surface of Carratos with me. Our goal is to get ourselves detained. How will we do this? Well, there's a certain prison on the planet that houses Sith sympathizers. See, the inhabitants dislike the Sith. They support the Hutts. Our kind gets tossed into prison. So what we're going to do is start a fight in a cantina with a bunch of Hutt Cartel supporters, declaring out allegance to the Sith, and boom. We're in. Once in, we work on escaping and breaking out the Sith prisoners to reclaim the world for the Empire from the inside.

"Any questions?"

"Yes, sir," spoke Tormax. "Do we have any idea what kind of equipment the guards are carrying? It'll help when we're escaping if we know what we're up against."

After getting that question off his mind, he looked at [member="Knight Mullarus"]. As strange as it was for the Colonel to see the trooper out of his armor, Tormax was almost taken aback by seeing their almighty Sith Commander wearing regular clothes. The strangest part was the face tattoos though. None of jackal squad seemed to have put as much effort into their looks, and they all collectively stared at the tattoos, even the captain.

Tormax' thoughts while this was going on drifted to the person coming with them on the mission, [member="Greta Kohler"]. He found it curious that the only people that he had seen the Colonel receive help from, or send help to, were women, but then again he had not been with Mullarus for long. The idea of a second Sith Knight joining them on the mission was comforting, but Tormax still wondered if they'd be enough to fuel and maintain the rebellion of Sith supporters. Tormax hoped there were mostly fighters among the supporters, but he wasn't sure if that would be the case.

Tormax never imagined going on a covert rescue mission just a few weeks after being assigned somewhere, but he had no problem with it. I know we'll do our best to get the One Sith back into power, but even if the mission goes south, this should be a good learning experience...

With her usual black outfit which consisted of a black robes over a black bodysuit replaced with a set of nondescript ordinary everyday clothes along with a pair of blue eye contacts, Greta looked like just another normal civilian on the planet. Getting herself caught in this volatile mess would be plenty easy enough. The gangsters were a paranoid bunch, and anyone with a slight sense of loyalty or allegiance to the Sith would get thrown into the Anti-Sith prison. Mullarus would be arriving soon with his team, and in the mean time all she had to was to get ready, scouting out for any possible targets that they could see to pull off their elaborate ruse to get them caught.

Her efforts soon paid off as she found a group of hoodlums along with several other gangsters wearing the armband of the ruling crime cartel group, the Carratos Liberators. Despite their name, they were not what one would usually think. They were not good people, and they were all in it for themselves. They were essentially a melting pot of crime lords, gangsters, hoodlums and basically any form and sorts of scum and villainy one could find on the planet. She took up a seat one of the shaded corners of the cantina, discretely taking a brief holo-vid before attaching it and sending it to Mullarus with the following message. "Targets acquired at the busiest watering hole in town. Possibly of getting noticed and caught, 100%. Simply waiting for your arrival."

"Do we have any idea what kind of equipment the guards are carrying? It'll help when we're escaping if we know what we're up against."

"As of right now, no. We're going to have to adapt." Mullarus was about to dismiss the debriefing before he mentioned one more thing. "Also...lose the imperial accents. Try to speak more roughly. Yeah, we want them to arrest us, but let's not make it too obvious that we're trying to get into prison. Got it?" Unless Tormax had another question, the rest of the squad would shake their heads.

Patriot docked into a rental hangar close to [member="Greta Kohler"]'s coordinates. Mullarus left all of his gear on the ship as to not have it get confiscated by the Carratos government. With a hand wave, he ushered Jackal squad to follow him.
The group made their way down the street until his eyes stopped upon a woman in black with bright golden hair. He approached, giving his fellow Sith Knight a nod. "Ready to go?" he asked.

[member="Tormax Ategann"]

Tormax nodded his head, "Got it." Once they had made it down to the planet, their group casually made their way down the street toward the cantina. Once there, Tormax saw [member="Knight Mullarus"] go towards a black robed woman. The other Sith Knight.

While the two siths chatted, Tormax scoped out the area, making it look like he was relaxing against a wall. He was going to move a bit away from the group, then realized it didn't matter about seeming suspicious because they were here to be arrested anyway. He noticed the same hoodlums [member="Greta Kohler"] had, and didn't need to be told that was who they were here to piss off. It wasn't just how they looked, but how they acted. None of them seemed like people Tormax would want to be acquainted with.

Under his breath, far enough from anyone outside of their group to hear, Tormax practiced speaking without his accent. Luckily, his wasn't as bad as some of Jackal Squads. Not as bad as- Tormax shook that thought out of his head and continued practicing under his breath. If he had continued that thought, he either would have thought of the recent death of his fellow stormtrooper, or his wanted brother. I doubt we'll run into any old Sith Lords to use my emotions against me, but its no good getting distracted.

The time was finally here, as she spotted Mullarus and Gang making their way into the watering hole. When he asked if she was ready to go, Greta simply nodded and gave him a smile. Here goes nothing. She slid her her seat, getting to her feet and approached the bunch of hooligans, before getting the attention of one of them with a casual tap on his shoulder. The moment the thug turned his head around to face his interruption, a fist would go flying meeting the features of his face.

The rest of his comrades would hastily push back their chairs as they got to their feet in a myriad of shock and anger. "You Carratos Liberators are the worst! The worst kind of goons on the planet. You're no match for the might of the One Sith. They'll be back one day, and I'll love to see your faces in the mud!"

Greta had put on her best impression of a thug, complete with the accent and tone, totally unlike of how she would behave. Although she could sense that their mindless goons were already riled up and beginning to take actions with their fists, she simply stood there putting up the weakest impression of a fight she could, she didn't want to seem too eager to get caught anyhow.

The plan was set into motion as the first blows came flying into her.
