The Part Collector

Quinn had his ideas. He knew that sooner or later a lightsaber would be needed, be it to become a knight, or just to keep himself alive. Thus, when he realized this he sat there, slowly drafting and drawing, throwing away and restarting. He couldn't find something he really liked, a design he really liked. He was a-lot like Anakin Skywalker, and some of the stories he'd heard. He couldn't decide what he wanted really.

Finally, he found a design he really liked. It took many a trip to the training room to try training sabers for feel. He wanted his blade to be perfect. Perfect length, perfect weight, perfect everything. All perfect, everything. He really enjoyed the whole design process, until he found that finding some of the materials on his list would be a little hard to get.

The crystal, well he'd ask Maya about that. The durasteel would be quite easy to get. Phrik would be harder, that would mean a flight to Bastion, and a mine set up. Gromas 16 might also be an option though, they had their mines as well. The Endor tree bark would be quite easy to get, just a quick flight to Endor. Though, to be honest he would have to cut a tree open. Actually, Quinn was debating getting the bark, it was only decoration anyway,

He figured he'd need to get to work if he planned to get this lightsaber finished within the next year. Believe me, he did plan on getting this thing finished, even if it killed him. Actually, scrap that, it probably would kill him. This was gonna be one hard task.

Quinn chose to go after the Endor Tree Bark first. It would be the one that was most difficult to get. After the Bark, he would go and get the Durasteel. Then the Phrik and finally the Crystal. He chuckled, looking over his list. The wood he needed didn't need to be cut well, if anything the more jagged and rushed it was, the better it'd look. Plus, if it had a sharp tip it could double for a secondary weapon.

The shuttle for Endor left just as Quinn got the station. He knew he'd have to explain to The Silver Jedi where he was, but they'd understand. In a way it was Jedi business anyway. However, like I was saying. The shuttle left just as Quinn got to the spaceport, which made him cringe. He was told they'd hold the shuttle for him. Liars.

He waited for a few hours, before the lady at the reception desk called him up. She told him that he had been allowed to travel on a supply ship. Granted it wasn't a licensed ship, but it was a way to get to Endor at the end of the day. Anyway, he hopped aboard the ship and instantly regretted it. The captain of the ship was a large man, human by the looks of him. He looked like he'd beaten enough guys and gals to class as a threat. The guy instructed Quinn that because he was allowing him onto his ship, Quinn'd have to stay down with the cargo. Great.

Quinn regretted going down there after a few hours. His back was aching and he was getting bored of force pushing crates out of his way. To be honest, when they landed Quinn was the first one off the ship. He couldn't deal with being in there anymore. He payed what he owed the crew of the ship, then walked off.

Endor was a nice place. Nature as a whole was a nice place, and Endor was a jungle moon so yeah, nice. Quinn watched as two Ewoks ran past, stumbling over each other. Ewoks, they didn't have much sense but man they were cute. Quinn had to stop himself taking one as a pet. He chuckled, walking through the village, down to the ground.

Tree villages. Quinn hated them. They didn't feel safe really, just knowing that they were built on branches. Quinn had climbed enough trees and branches to know that they were about as safe as that ship he'd just come off. He chuckled at the thought, climbing over a tree stump, smiling.

Eventually he found his perfect tree. It wasn't exactly different in many ways. A little lighter and a little rougher, yes, but really. Quinn wasn't exactly sure why it had to be this tree, he just felt something that told him that this tree would make a fine decoration.

Quinn removed a small blade from his pocket. It wasn't very long, but it was sharp, sharp enough that it had broken through the bottom of it's sheath. Quinn slid the knife from it's sheath, gently placing it against the tree. He started to add a little pressure to the knife, letting it slowly break into the bark. Quinn then took it upon himself to saw a little bit from the tree.

The bit he had taken wasn't very neat, but then again Quinn'd said before it didn't need to be neat. He smiled. The tip of the wood was sharp, and that was the bit he cared about most. He'd basically made a secondary weapon on a lightsaber hilt. Nice.

Break watched as the trees seems to surround him as he walked. He enjoyed the forest scenery and longed for a day off to enjoy it. However... this wasn't one of those days. Break was on business this time. He was here to kill a very specific person. A very blue individual, not unlike himself he laughed at how easily it was to track a man stowing away on a ship below deck and how easy it was to pay off somebody to actually let him ride above deck on that same ship. Break liked to stalk his prey for days before actually moving in. Sentient life was so easily Tracked. They were creatures of habit he was roughly 200 meters away from [member="Quinn Michaels"] watching him through a scope

Just don't kill me. You just need to beat me to hell and back

Quinn felt something in the force. He moved his hand towards the bark of wood, his symbolism towards the lightsaber that would soon be his. He had decided that he would go for the Phrik next. Just because Gromas 16 was closer. Quinn had also realized that he could get Duristeel from Gromas 16 as well. First, however, he had to deal with whatever this was.

He turned his head towards where he felt the quirk from, and he saw nothing. He shrugged and continued walking. Whatever it was would appear soon enough.

Break moved closer with his Nexu rifle. He would need to, the accuracy of the rifle left something to be desired he slowly moved in and loosed a shot from about 80 meters it could be easily dodged but that's what Break wanted. A clean kill would have been mercy he wanted this one to suffer.
It wasn't often he had a chance like this.
He went in loud dropping The rifle to his hip and began to rush the Jedi. He was going to give the chiss the beating of a lifetime.

The speed of the droid would give him an edge in battle and his strength was close quarters combat.

Quinn almost wished the force would of told him about the machine charging towards him. He took a fist to the left rib, falling to the floor. The thing above him seemed angry, although over what, Quinn wasn't sure. The droid sent two more kicks his way, forcing him to back off into a corner of trees. He felt the pain, clearly two broken ribs.

"He...Th... What did I do?" he asked, rubbing his side. He felt the pain, groaning as he tried to sit up. Whatever was going on, it hurt. All he could hope was that this droid took what he wanted and walked off. An Ewok had seen this droid however, and Quinn could only hope he'd gone to get help. A Jedi without his weapon was pointless, seriously pointless.

Force heal, that's what he wished he had right now. Granted he had force push, force pull and force levitate but he wasn't thinking about going offensive. He wanted to be defensive right about now. Hey, if this had told Quinn anything, it was that he really needed to go find Maya and learn force heal.

Break was simply beating the Chiss at first he seemed to have shorted out and not realized just how much he was doing. As he kicked the blue man he realized what h was doing and came to. Slowly he picked up the chiss. As his helmets faceplate retracted showing he was indeed what appeared to be human.
"Well hello there young [member="Quinn Michaels"] , it would appear that you have something my associates on Nar'shadaa desire. I am here to collect. Break raised his plasma canon as it started to charge.
If the young jedi wished to escape he would have to try now as Break was beginning to get serious a ball of plasma to the gut would kill anyone. Break wanted this bounty and unless the chiss fought back he would collect.

Gotta love Ewoks. Quinn eyed the plasma ball, sighing. He knew it was time to do what he could, he wanted to survive this. He wasn't exactly sure who had a bounty on his head, and he didn't really have time to know. He stopped for a slight moment, looking for the easiest way out of this, then he attacked. He kicked at the human/droid thing, stunning him. Out of no-where he reacted with a force push, shoving the cyborg towards the trees.

As Quinn fell back in pain, three Ewoks jumped from a tree, surrounding the cyborg. Quinn forced himself to his knees. The Cyborg was getting up, and the Ewoks wouldn't hold him for long. Using the tree behind him to get to his feet, Quinn dragged himself across to the Cyborg, using force levitate to hold him in the air so he couldn't move. He then called upon force push to hold the Cyborg to a tree, so that plasma gun couldn't do any damage.

"Who has a bounty on me. Tell me!"

[member="Break"]

Break struggled against the tree as he kept the plasma canon charged the droid only waited for it to come to full power and then released. What the jedi didn't know was rat Break would get a 360° view with his helmet and could aim just as well from any angle. And as luck would have it there was a tree not very far away from where they were at. Break loosed the plasma as it came to a full charge it's humming sound indicated that this shot would do damage. It hit a nearby tree and as Break hoped it began to fall in their direction hopefully it would Break the jedis concentration long enough to Let him escape.
As the shot fired Break spoke.
"If I told you I wouldn't be a very good assassin we now would I?"

[member="Quinn Michaels"]

Quinn heard the shot before he saw the tree. The tree, when he saw that he dropped the Cyborg and dove aside, injuring his ribs even more, nice. He lay there, in pain, but still saving the Cyborg's life with force levitate. The thing better be grateful. He rubbed at his rib area, growling as a few humans from the spaceport came running forward. Two of them had a stretcher, which was always nice. He heard gunshots as he gasped finally, letting the pain force him into unconsciousness.

He never saw the Bounty Hunter escape, and when he came round Quinn saw the roof of one of the ewok shacks. This is what they were classing as a hospital, nice. He felt his ribs, looking down to them. He was all bandaged up, and the holoreadout of his injuries stated that he'd been injected with something or other to speed up his recovery process.

Quinn looked to his right, and saw that someone had the decency to place the tree bark next to him. He took it, placing it in his pocket. He then stood up, placing his shirt back on, covering his blue chest. A nurse came in, checked him over and dismissed him. Quinn knew not to go looking for revenge however, and this was for two reasons. He had a job to do, plus revenge forced you towards the darkside. A place Quinn didn't want to go.

Time to go and find the rest of these parts, pain or no pain. He was done with Endor.

Quinn had spent some time away from this task, wrapped in all the Mon Cal negotiations, damn those fish. However, he seemed to be done with Mon Cal now, so he figured he had a right to go back to look for parts. Taking a map and a few directions from the secrafish he headed in the general direction of a "Metals" trader. Okay, apparently he sold more than metal, but he sold Durasteel, and the secrafish even said that if Quinn was lucky, he'd find the Phrik he was after.

It took him a while, twenty one and a half minutes to be exact, to find this trader, but eventually he was found. He owned a small store, just out the outside of the Capital. He reached into his pocket, feeling his wood. He had designed a whole new blade during his stay here on Mon Cal, and thus he needed this wood to be rounded, which he had done. His new design still needed all the same materials, but it also needed the added extra of a small emerald gem, just to decorate.

Walking into the store, Quinn stopped. He smelt drugs of some sort, but it wasn't his place to complain. He was just here to get this Duristeel and Emerald and get out. He wondered in, nodding to the bloke behind the counter. Some fat Mon Cal eating whatever the fish guys eat. Quinn coughed lightly and the Mon Cal turned to him.
"What you after"
"Duristeel" Quinn replied, soft in voice.
"Duristeel ey?"
"And a small Emerald" Quinn told the guy.
"Anything else?"
"Phrik"
"Lucky kid, we just got some in" The fat guy told him.

The bloke left his chair and wondered into the back. During his absence, Quinn saw the sweat stains on the chair. He was almost surprised that these fish guys sweat. Actually, he took that back, nothing surprised him anymore. He chuckled and waited for the fat fish guy to come back in. It took the fish guy a while, 18 minutes and 18 seconds to be exact, but he finally came back with everything Quinn needed and had asked for. Enough Duristeel, enough Phrik and enough of everything else he needed.

Nice.
