The Osaji Syndicate

osajilogo.png

Corporation Name: The Osaji Syndicate

Headquarters: Nar Shaddaa

Locations: No others, yet.

Operations: Produces Illegal Black Market Weapons and Drugs

Rationale: The Osaji Syndicate was passed down through the generations, until placing Killian's older brother, Osaji Magni, as the leader. With nothing but jealousy in his heart, Killian decided to have his brother killed therefore making him the leader through succession. He decided to frame it as a fatality from a shootout with another criminal gang, and so people never doubted his right to lead.

Tier: 2

Description: The Osaji Syndicate was once a well-respected criminal organization that operated all along the Perlemian Trade Route. However, once the Republic began creeping it's control along the Syndicate's planets, they slowly began to die away from bad business. It became harder to produce drugs and guns with security forces constantly raiding them, and their smugglers were getting caught much more often. It got to the point where only few of the Syndicate remained, most imprisoned or deserted. At that point they moved base, setting up in the Red Light District of Nar Shaddaa. From there they began running their production small-time again, until finally being able to brand out slightly to sell their stock to spacers and scoundrels on the black market.

The Syndicate will deal with anyone, promising to keep anonymity between their clients. Whether they're a Republic Senator wanting narcotics or a mass-murderer needing a new rifle, the Syndicate will provide in secret for the right price. Since their new leader, Osaji Killian, is a small-time slicer and infochant, the Syndicate has also started entering the business of information. Despite the secrecy between their clients, the highest bidder could always find out what they need to know.
