SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: The nominal head of the Order of Indoril is His Majesty, King Uriel Septimus IV. In reality, the true head and director of the Indorii is Prince I Ignatius Septimus , second in line for the throne.
  • Membership: Although the number of Indoril active at any given time is a state secret, it is assessed that the number of active Indorii was at roughly 150,000 before the fall of the Galactic Alliance; that number will likely climb as the Indorii assess galactic affairs. The Indori recruits it's members from all walks of life- military, academia, commercial. Members are recruited for a number of abilities, but above all, their loyalty to the Dynasty and Niahelios must never be in doubt. The Indori are exclusively Niaheli natives. Niaheli, upon induction, are expected to serve for life.
  • Reputation: Little is known of the Order of Indoril is public knowledge; to the general populace, they are a little more than honorary royal guards to the Dynasty. To government officials and aristocracy, they are the shadow on the wall, zealots in service to the throne.
  • Curios: All Indori bear a tattoo of the sigil of Indoril Septimus.
  • Rules: Service for life. Loyalty to the Dynasty above all. Protect Niahelios, no matter the cost.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As the Gulag Plague abated, the Ssi-Ruuk Imperium emerged. Viewing the Niaheli as easy picking, the Ssi-Ruu invaded Niahelios, getting to the heart of Solara, before being repulsed by King Indoril Septimus and his legions. The Ssi-Ruu offensive was repulsed, at great cost. Vowing to never allow the Niaheli to be at the mercy of invaders, King Indoril turned Niahelios into a martial society. Indeed, many historians point to the beginning of the Niaheli's militaristic tradition to Indoril.

This was the beginning of the Order of Indoril.

Handpicking from the his greatest warriors, King Indoril charged them to be shield to guard the realm. The Indorii did just that, spreading across the galaxy to monitor the Unknown Regions and provide warning to Niahelios, while pre-emptively stamping out dissent, corruption on the homeworld. Over time, the Indorii established the pre-eminent intelligence apparatus in the Unknown Regions, ensuring enemies- the Nagai, the Tof, and the Grysk, to name a few- would find themselves solidly rebuffed.

With the fall of the Galactic Alliance, and location of Niahelios largely public knowledge to the galaxy, Prince Ignatius Septimus- director of the Indorii- spearheaded an initiative to rapidly grow the Indorii, and seed them throughout the galaxy, so when one of the galaxy's powers turned their heads to the Unknown Regions, Niahelios would be ready.
