Rawr!!!
It had been awhile since Yuroic had trained against Kaden, well against anyone for that matter. He had been so busy practising on his own or against training droids that he missed the unique style that a person could bring. The element of unpredictability. Yuroic decided it was time to get back into the training area and fight someone with some skill. His own combat skills had come a long way, he now had his own lightsabers and could use the Force somewhat effectively. Just depended on who he decided to face against. The Sith Lord that he had faced on Dominion Vjun was very much out of his league.
Speaking of which, that memory reminded him of another Padawan he was curious to train with. Vitha, a sentient bird, and not always friendly from what he remembered. However, she had shown some talent in combat and her flying capabilities meant that he would have to devise new strategies to protect himself against aerial attacks. It was an idea that had his mind already buzzing with ideas and workarounds. Yuroic then nodded to himself, it was decided, he would contact them both and offer a three way duel.
Moving across his small room, he grabbed his datapad and sent a message to both of them:
Hey!
Yuroic here, wondering if you want your butts kicked in a three way duel between us all. Will be at the training grounds around noon. Be there or face humiliation of being a coward.
Sincerely,
Fellow Padawan Yuroic.
After sending the message he then looked at the time and decided to take a leisured walk to the training grounds within the temple. He walked through the temple wearing his Padawan robes without his hooded cloak. The cloak would be impractical for the duel and with the bright sun shining he felt it would also be too warm. When he arrived at the empty training grounds he gave himself a slight smile. It had been awhile since he had faced an actual opponent and that hadn't ended well. However, this time he had training on his side and he had done a lot of it.
He walked over to the offered training weapons, bypassing the wooden ones he used last them. He studied the durasteel ones and tilted his head, they would be heavier but then again, he was now using a real lightsaber in actual combat. He selected two individual saber-like swords, the edges were dull enough not to break skin unless a lot of pressure was given. However, having the two weapons in hand was a more natural feel, even from the start.
