Cathay once again produces another plague to devastate the Unknown Regions again after a scant few years. The Battlegroup of Shockmarine Raiding Parties has finally spilled through a force scream that echoed throughout the universe. Signaling their return from undeath to plague the galaxy for the second time in thousands of years. At their head, a blooded warrior by the name of Wulfgar Yuthharth, seeks to spread blood, death, and slaves across the galaxy. A once well-respected Shock marine in his own right. Tainted and warped by thousands of years trapped in the netherworld. The Legions of old have found their master.

The worlds of the Chiss Ascendancy call for the Galaxy's Aid. Sith, Smuggler, Soldier, Jedi. It did no longer matter. The Ascendancy is potentially seeing their fall as the legions untenable spew through the portal on Cathay. Seeking to kill, maim and torture for their own sadistic pleasure to exact some revenge for their imprisonment. The warriors who have already answered the call of the Ascendancy, Smugglers, Criminals, and Vagabonds alike seeking to escape their punishments in the Galaxy have come to attempt any sort of containment on the rapidly deteriorating conditions that surround the Ascendancy. At the head of these vagabonds, a Tagrutan Smuggler, and former slaver. Reshala Zavros has come to the world of Bogo-Rai to serve as some sort of rallying figure.
Bogo Rai, the staging area for operations into Cathay. Is on its last legs. The fighters of the Ascendancy, long since destroyed by the first incursion and then the war for Csillia. Have driven back the Shock Marines for the time being. But, the integrity of Bogo-Rai has fallen to critical levels. With raiding parties staged by Marine elements chipping away at the defenses. For now, the call to aid has reached only the channels of the Bounty Hunter's guild. With a scream in the force calling to Sith and Jedi.

Reshala stands at the foot of the landing platforms. A concerned, yet a cold expression is written across her aged face. Who knew which thoughts ran through the Tagrutan, be it fear, pain or likewise something similar. It did not matter. She heeded the call months ago, with a band of her own slavers and pirates. Yet even they have been felled through sheer attrition. She knew in her heart that they could not continue this campaign to close the portal without some well-deserved assistance. She only needed four braves to enter the portal to shut it down from the inside. But those individuals in question, have yet to make their debut in the metropolis of Bogo-Rai.

For thousands of years. Millennia uncounted since the rise of the Celestials, and the Rakata. The remnants of the ancient Catharian Hegemon stirred within the darkest reaches of the Galaxy. The Remnants, as the survivors of that thousand-year-long war stir again in the Netherworld Prison of their former Queen's making. Through the efforts of hence unknown events, and fed with the bloodshed for the last few centuries. The Catharians broke free of their containment. Coalescing into two informal Battlegroups numbering in the two-thousands each. Each made up of those who were imprisoned. The infamous Shock Marines, and their supporting companies.
