The Mines of Concordia

"Field Marshall Monroe. Intruders located at my coordinates. Engaging."

Those were the words Adenn heard before he sprung into action, quickly finding the woman's coordinates before he turned on the speeder bike he had been sitting on, turning in the direction of the Field Marshal, quickly shooting foward at high speeds, kama flapping in the wind. The bounty hunter guessed he was here for the same reason that all the other Mandalorians were, to find the intruders or protect the mines, and since Field Marshal Monroe had found the intruders already, it was just the case of eliminating them "Field Marshal, I am approaching your location on a speeder bike, I sould be at your location in..." Adenn scanned his HUD for the distance of the woman's coordinates "Uhh.. About a minute and forty seconds, I think." All his weapons were loaded, his armor had been checked, jet pack fueled up, he was ready for a fight.

There was no concern on Mia's face as her scattergun shot met a force barrier. This wasn't a new tactic. It was cowardly, infuriating and one of her most hated, if somewhat useful force powers, but it was not new. She filed the information away as the sith retaliated. Lowering her gun she drew in a deep breath.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUM"

The bellow rolled out ahead of her, colliding with the blast sent her way with a tremor that shook the ground beneath her feet. Powerful force users, and by the impassive look on their face arrogant too. Good, she had plenty of that too. She stalked forward, dropping the scattergun as she did, it was all but useless, but within reach if she needed it. Her hands moved to draw two short beskads from their sheaths upon her back as Aden's reply chirped in her ear.

"Acknowledged." was her only response. Less than two minutes...

A lot could happen in less than two minutes.

She charged her body with tutaminis as she advanced, one arm reaching to the debris around her and sweeping it towards the group. An attempt to stall, rather than inflict damage. Not her problem if the Sith Knight amid the mess got hurt. Fool shouldn't have been here in the first place.

The phrase shock and awe was often used incorrectly - and though emulated in various instances and situations on and off the battlefield - the premise of it relied on a display of power and force so completely dominating that it would forever warp the reality of your enemies into they were left without recourse, without options, and without hope. This was the current ideology that was forming in Azrael's mind as he listened to the communications from the incident on Concordia. Compounding this particular situation was the holo-feeds coming in from Mandalorian spies, and the technology at the mine that allowed visuals to be transmitted. These were not known enemies of the Mandalorians by sight alone - in point of fact, he had no idea who these three were. If he had been given names to the audience of these intruders - perhaps he might of heard of one of them.

Currently at a command post several clicks from the epicenter of the action, the half-blood stood viewing several holo-screens and identifying the strategies of those involved. While the Concordia mines were a prized resource of the Mando'ade, it wasn't just the besk'ar they sought to defend - but the sheer principal of the matter. A stealth ship had eluded their sensor arrays and landed in the heart of the Mandalorian people with three obvious Force users aboard. It was an obvious front to their operations here - and there was a great line of displeasure written across his face. Thumb and forefinger framing the Mandalorian's jaw in careful consideration. There were good defending vode coming in to shut down this apparent infiltration. A number of things though had already happened to ensure that they would have the upper hand.

First, the planet was on alert as to the presence. All work of mining was put to an immediate halt, and the workers had already traded in their tools of stripping the ore in favor of weapons to defend this place. Second - the Protectors were called in, and the planet was now being fortified in space with a defensive strategy to prevent any ships and vessels tracked by their collective eyes (both figurative and literal) from passing through on or off planet save for those of the vode. A third measure was what Azrael was currently preparing to bring to the party. He however had some work to do in organization before he could deploy the assistance he had commissioned.

:: Ten minutes vode, until we're ending this before it escalates. Anyone relying on your Force training will want to re-think your plan of attack. We're inbound soon. :: The message was delivered to those already at the epicenter through their encrypted channel. :: Keep them occupied. :: Azrael said while he moved from the screens and shifted to turn his attention to the troops he'd gathered up. Short and long range trained Mando'ade that would bring down some heavy rain if they needed that kind of support. A call was also given out to Manda'yaim and several specific of the clans he knew that would engage in ways that were needed. This was about timing, and a presence that would not be shaken off. This would be a true example of shock and awe.

Orbit over Concordia
Krayt-Class Light Cruiser
...the Warrior was not actually on the surface of Concordia rather he was on the bridge of a Krayt-Class Light Cruiser in orbit around the world, one of many capital ships forming a defensive perimeter, however he nonetheless had received the message from Azrael and stood ready to assist. As a Field Marshall much of his involvement had been centered on deployments that assisted in the defense of Mandalorian territory, Garrus had only deployed in limited offensive engagements thus it should not be a surprise that he would show his face here when danger loomed over Concordia. On board the light cruiser he would have a communications officer patch him through to the command post several kilometers from the main engagement site...

..."This is Field Marshal Garrus Garon. I have come to bring blood and iron to the interlopers."...that was all and then the comms from the Light Cruiser would cut off, switching to a form of radio silence while still monitoring the signals below. Now all that Garrus needed to do was wait for the signal to attack, load himself into a Drop Pod and fire himself down towards the surface where he could join in battle with his enemies. While he waited Garrus would have done a weapons check to ensure his equipment was operational but before he did that he would take a long, hard, pull from the flask that he kept nearby for all occasions. Drinking the liquor burned his throat and left a crisp bite on the tip of his tongue but it also ensured his senses were wide awake...

...the Heavy Beskar'gam he wore was prepared, as usual, for heavy combat and offered him a phenomenal amount of protection against damage and personal injury. Once he'd ensured it was properly fitted over himself he'd rest his left hand over his right breast where the Taozin Amulet had been embedded into his skin ensuring that force users searching for him, looking for him, would have their sense muddled and harassed. The Beskar he used was sheathed over his back with the hilt extending up over his right shoulder, he carried an enormous Mythosaur Grenade Launcher in both hands and his armor sported a Micro Grenade Launcher integrated into the right arm of the Beskar'gam. Looking over the bridge of the Light Cruiser he would grunt..."Monitor comms. When it is our time to strike I do not wish to delay."...he'd turn and start to march off the bridge before pausing and looking back over his shoulder..."Inform my wife we prepare for war."...then he disappeared into a corridor of the ship leading off the bridge...

News of [member="Ralize Tor"]'s pregnancy still stuck in the mind of the youngest Tor, well he would not be the youngest Tor for too long. His mind was divided, distracted. While he was trying to get his head in the battle ahead, he was concerned about his wife and making back to her alive. This was their culture. Kad would fight until she could join him on the battle field again. His helmet remained clipped to his waist. The green beskar'gam a sign of his excellent work as a goran. The truth was he recognized several sets of armor, ones henjad either made or repaired, among the verde.

With the notice from [member="Azrael"], Kad took his place with the warriors who had been called upon to assemble. It was about duty, and protecting what was theirs. The mine would not fall to the Sith. Boots clicked against the floor as Kad came to a stop, light colored eyes looking to the leader.

"Let's do this quickly. Ner riduur is expecting twins, and I would rather be with her at the moment."

[All gear is in Bio]

Nolan stood in the back of a dropship inbound to the planets surface. He locked down the power cells in his ammo belt. He shifted with the rocking of the dropship that carried him and other vod to the field of battle below.

Marshall [member="Azrael"], Detta inbound and almost to the ground.

He turned around as the drop doors opened, and jumped out over the field in front of the mine. He descended from 10,000 feet. Gun out and ready.

(OOC: Sorry for the huge delay in posting)

Muad listened to the story with good humor. The man assumed he paraded himself as the guardian of the culture. What Muad had seen of the mandalorians they didn't need a guardian ... even against the sith. He was an ally of the mandos. Chuckling in amusement as he asked who wanted to kill him he felt the arrival behind followed by the touch at the nape of his neck.

Turning his head and looking over his shoulder he grinned as he listened to the question.

"If you want to touch me how about you massage my shoulders. I have a feeling I'll be getting a knot there soon enough mate. As for immortal, there is only one immortal entity and that is Chaos whom I serve."

He felt the disturbance by [member="Mia Monroe"] as she attacked and swept an arc of rubble flying at the sith. Ducking he spun, pivoting on his right leg, his left outstretched in an attempt to leg sweep Duvain while his right hand palmed his lightsaber and activated the blue hued blade in a horizontal strike at the man's midsection. Large stones sped over his head by Mia's attack.

((OOC: My apologies as well))

Cameron's silver-green gaze shifted almost instantly in [member="Mia Monroe"]'s direction as he felt a ripple in the Force from her actions. The debris around them ranged from tiny pebbles to much larger rocks...either way...anything could be a bit irritating with enough velocity. This little expedition was quickly gaining quite a bit of attention. Smiling thinly to himself, the Sith Lord stepped away from [member="Duvain"] and [member="Muad Dib"]b. As debris drew closer to his body, Cameron used his own telekinetic focus to redirect the objects just around his body. At the moment, it was the only action drawing upon his focus so it didn't exactly take a large amount of effort. That being said, he couldn't stop everything and suffered the burden of several small cuts across the exposed flesh of his torso and face. For a brief moment, a level of pain threatened to shoot through his body but Cameron allowed the sensation to fan the steadily rising flame of his irritation and...bemusement.

Grasping the leather hilt of his Sith Sword, Cameron withdrew the weapon and held it in his right hand. The alchemical crimson blade appeared to take on an a subtle orange tint as it adopted the disposition of his creator and wielder. "Mines," was the word that he almost softly intoned to [member="Soliael Devin Talith"] as his eyes remained on Mia Monroe's advance. His senses were all too aware of the amount of company they were about to have. The Mandalorians wanted to charge in and fight simply because of their presence? It was a perfectly acceptable response to Cameron. The strength of the dark side continued to draw in around the Sith Lord's aura as he, seemingly, watched the current proceedings with hardly a care in the world.

(OOC: It's been a bit past the required wait time for posting. A waited a few more days as it is the holidays. Im moving ahead but welcome the rejoining of Duvain)

Spinning through his strike he pressed up with his leg to rise from his crouch in a light jump, landing on his two feet and facing [member="Cameron Centurion"] with his lightsaber loosely pointing in the direction of the sith. Walking ahead a few steps to close the distance between the two he grinned.

"Let us join together in battle."

The toe of his right boot hooked beneath a stone and, using the force to strengthen and empower his body, kicked it uneeringly toward Centurion's Head while leaping forward to swipe his blue blade up from goin to head, then reversing the path of the lightsaber to strike down at the sith's right shoulder with a two handed grip.
