The Map of the Ark

Planet: Onderon
Location: Somewhere in the Onderon Jungle
Time: 13:43

Adron had been back in known space for less than a week and already his mind had obviously been plagued by what he had seen in the unmapped regions of space. In all honesty to himself, he could not entirely remember what had occurred in that time, or even how long he was gone. All he did know is his dreams were plagued with nightmares of an ancient Sith Kingdom, one that spread artifacts all over the galaxy. Perhaps his visions had merely been the works of a mind with too much time on it's hand, or even the corrupting visions of the Dark Side in it's most primal form. Regardless of the reason, Adron's obsession with these visions was drawing him to Onderon.

Adron and his wife had landed on Onderon nearly two hours ago. After seeing to their supplies for the trip on the planet's surface, Adron decided to wander out of the shuttle and take a look around. The thick, lush, jungle did not impress Adron, in fact it was actually a bit annoying.

Of course he had never been much a fan of jungles. As he knelt down near a small stream whose water rushed around their shuttle, he could not help but feel a longing for his own home. "I wonder if Blackgate still stands..."He muttered, recalling his last trip to Serenno, where he saw his families manor had been all but destroyed. "That debt is still owed." Adron said, taking a stone into his hands before tossing it into the stream beside him. "Anya!" He called back to the shuttle, "Are you ready for our little trip?"

Seems like you never stopped, once you became adept in the force it started using you for its advantage. Guiding you in some damned adventure that was completely in the shadows...force was always like that, never gave you enough yet it always always kept your mind in interest.

Onderon, something brought then here, her husband's recent visions called them here. She nodded to him as he left and started setting up a little camp. She finished setting up a tent and looked about as she sighed. Damn these jungles, wasn't because they messed her hair up just the place was always humid and there was bugs...yes the last who killed a lot of people quite brutally hated bugs and humidity

YEA! I'll be there in a sec almost done

She glanced every over and nodded as she closed a crate and started for adron, catching up and smiled and patted his shoulder

ready to go

Once Anya had joined him at his side, the young Moff offered her a warm smile. Her presence here was invigorating and a constant reminder that he was not alone in this galaxy. In an attempt to remain discreet in his movements, Adron had abandoned his uniform for a simple black pair of pants with a matching tunic. Even his saber had been left aboard there transport, with only his lightsaber hanging from his hip. All in all he looked to be a well-practiced Jedi Knight. Perhaps the first time he has appeared as one in well over a year.

A pair of black gloves we're hanging from his belt, as he took them he looked to Anya. His tone hinting that he was less than convinced about these visions. “I'm not entirely sure what I've been seeing.” He admitted, pulling on the base of the rubber-like gloves to be sure they were secure. Once he had the gloves on, Adron began to walk into the dense Forest that surrounded them. “Actually, now that I think about it, I don't even remember seeing Onderon. I've never been here once in my life.” He chuckled dryly. The foliage that blocked there way was easily pushed to the side, making the terrain far easier to negotiate than it appeared.

As the two of them pushed through the jungle, Adron was attempting to force his visions to reality, however they never came. While something about the landscape was continually becoming familiar, the Force was quiet to him now.

Rather than focus on the anxiety the lack of progress was causing, he instead turned his attention to Anya, knowing there was much they still had to speak about. Pressing a hand against the base of a tree he offered her a hollow smile, knowing how much it had hurt her when he left. “Im sorry, Anya…” He told her, admitting his own fault. “I should never have left. I thought I… I don't know what I thought.” He admitted. The trip to wild space had been very much like this adventure, a trek that was birthed from the whimsical torrent that was The Force. “I need more power if I want to take back our home. I guess I thought I could find it by letting The Force guide me.”

Turning to his wife, he approached her, laying his hands upon her waist as he spoke. “I'm not leaving you or our children ever again.” He said, taking her soft hands into his own. His eyes fell to her ember-colored hair which caused him to offer her another warm smile. His hand would reach up, pushing her hair to the side. “You know the first thing I noticed about you was your hair.” He told her. Leaning forward he would press his lips to hers, holding the bond for a fleeting moment as he drank in his wife’s presence.

She smiled at him, wearing tan pants and a brown shirt soemthing light and wouldn't get caught on anything in this damned place. She glanced sober to adron and almost gasped seeing his outfit...truely she had to be proud of him hed come so far in the force

the force is always...blurry. but same time it in its own gives you the details it wishes and no more then that...it wants you to earn whatever it's showing you

She said adjusting her sword....not having enough time to actually make a light saber yet, she glanced about the forest as she walked beside him pushing past the foliage as she looked to him when he spoke then forward...she sighed and looked away for a second

adron I won't lie to you. It hurt me when you suddenly left without telling anyone, I worried about you greatly when I was doing my duties as high inquisitor.

She said with a serious look then softened a bit as she closed her eyes and chuckled

that's why I haven't put you in a bacta tank...i understand this draw of the force pulling on you...however next time I will be going with you I think...call it a vacation with the family

No sooner had she finished that she kissed him back and adjusted her her smiling, indeed it was actually shorter then before down to her shoulders

it was getting quite long, figured it would look good like this

Anya’s words had been reassuring, if nothing else. Adron had become worried of what his absence could do to their marriage, however it seemed to be just as strong as the day they were married. With a content chuckle, he passed a glance over to her fire red hair. “It looks beautiful.” He admitted, taking her hand into his for a fleeting moment. After releasing her from his grip, he turned back to the jungle before them, leading them back through the dense trees and other fauna.

“The dream I keep having. It's not a clear vision. In fact it's more of a feeling than actual visuals. In the dream I'm just drifting through shadows, every now and again I'll get a planet or event that just pops into my mind.” He explained to his wife, still not fully understanding what any of it meant. “The last one I had showed me Onderon.” Adron muttered, raising a hand up to the planet they stood on. “That, and the Dark Side of the Force surrounds me in a way I'm not used to.”

Adron paused, before looking to Anya with an apologetic expression. “I'm sorry. My complaining won't help us at all. Maybe if I stop and meditate. Maybe then I can figure things out.” He suggested before glancing around to examine their environment. The clearing they had stumbled in would suit his needs well enough. He looked to his wife, extending a hand out to her. “Why don't you join me?” He asked, knowing her more powerful connection to the Force could help bring his visions into focus.

The young Jedi found a small collection of rocks that had been stacked over a stream, with Anya he would make his way on top of the rocks, sitting silently with his legs crossed. Closing his eyes he would dip himself into the Force, all the while answering the screeching call of The Dark Side. As the shadowy nether twisted around him, he would release himself from the physical world, sending himself into a deep meditation.

She moved a few pieces of her again looking away with a smile on her face as she gripped his hand and followed him through the jungle looking around the place as she could feel some animals moving about no doubt either curious or simply on their way to whatever it is they do

She glanced to him and listened as she got a serious face thinking on his words, she rubbed her chin then nodded to herself before glancing to him

hmmm...truely it is playing a game wirh you, whatever lies on these planets or where such events take place it wants you to earn them...as for the dark side it seems as if it isn't corrupting you but...it is at your command now but stubborn on a way..

She stopped and smirked before signing as she shook her head following him over to the rocks as she looked them over carefully then looked to adron taking his hand as she sat by him closing her eyes and began channeling the force around her then feeding it into him as she let a calm breath out letting the force take her

As Anya sat down beside him, Adron dipped himself into the Force. Deep meditation had become far easier than it used to be. As a young boy he was often distracted by every little thing, sometimes taking hours to achieve a full meditative state. As an adult he found it much easier to immerse himself in the Force as it flowed around him. Sitting on Onderon, surrounded by life and the creations of the Force it was as simple as opening a door.

After only a few moments the area around him was as clear as day. He could feel every tree, every blade of grass, the stream flowing beneath them, and the animals that moved about. This peace was momentary, as the Dark Side had its own effect on his meditations. Visions soon flashed into his mind. He could see his parents, dead. His planet, in ruins as the With conquered it; and his friends who had fought with him for years, executed. The sharp spark of anger caused him to frown, even in his meditative state.

He began to breathe a bit harder as he worked to make those thoughts subside. Nothing. Still they flashed through his mind like a holofeed that he could not turn off. As his ire rose, the Force shifted around him. Small stones began to levitate around him, even his hair would float from his neck.

“I… I can't….. Think straight…” He muttered before exhaling, trying to center himself. Like a torrent the dark side of the force wrapped itself around him. He was worried that he could not control it. Yet that thought was the answer to his problem. Control.

“I need….to control it…” He said before focusing once more. This time as the visions came he did not worry about accepting them, or even pushing them away. Instead as his anger rose, he would use it as his point of focus. “Show me what I'm looking for.” He demanded, and as he tapped into the Force his visions grew more and more rapid. To the point where he could not see then anymore, only feel them. The pain, anger, and hatred was invigorating to a point. However it had also served another purpose. With his mind at focus, Adron now saw a very large tree, one on the face of Onderon that was very unique. Where most trees were short and slim this one was large and grown into the side of a mountain.

Adron finally pulled himself from meditation, placing a hand to his head as a pulsing ache throbbed between his temples. “Ah…. Kark.” He muttered before looking to Anya. “I saw a tree. A weird one that was next to a mountain.” He described the scene in his vision.

focus your power! The dark side is a tool! You must use it not it us you!

She said and kept her hand on his shoulder acting as a conduit between him and the force. However seven she was having trouble keeping it so balanced without exhausting her. She had to let go as she gasped and shook her head as she felt to much power going through her

She watched him and quickly cane back to him as she listened and thought for a moment as she nodded her head lightly looking off in the distance as she gave a smile and pointed

dear I think it has been in front if our eyes the entire time...looks like a days travel however

Adron traced his wife’s finger to the mountain in the distance. He could not help but smile at what he saw. “I suppose it was.” He agreed with Any a, before exhaling. The transe had taken quite a bit from Adron, so much so there was a bridge of sweat flowing over his brow. Adron’s ability to command The Force for his age was commendable, however he was still new to channeling such power and it usually made him frustrated and exhausted. “Let's get moving.”

As he stood from the rock, he immediately felt his knee slam into the rock where he sat. Sent into a heavy pant, he now realized how tired he was. “I… Need…. A…. Minute.” He told his wife, holding a hand up for a moment. Pressing the same hand to his forehead he exhaled before forcing himself to stand. “Usually my visions…. Usually they aren't that bad.” He explained to Anya before carefully stepping down from the rock.

“I'll be happy to end this.” He told Anya, chuckling a bit before running a hand through his hair. “I sense something…..so familiar.” He muttered, before turning towards the mountain and starting a slow pace to the mountain. “After this we should take a few days. Just you and I, and Alexon, Kastor, and Luria too, of course.” He said, smiling back at his wife.

She smiled as she looked at the mountain curious just what this mountain held that caused her husband these visions that haunted him oh so much....she looked him him and got ready to move but quickly stopped watching him fall as she crouched next to him and huffed shaking her head with a smile

the force certainly wants you to...im not sure it wants you to do something enough it's giving such powerful visions

She helped him up as she looked at the mountain again....force worked in such ways even she could barely understand at all. She followed him as she chuckled and shook her head

I agree....i haven't spent much time with the children in awhile, hahaha their growing quite well, kastor especially he's coming up on year and a half I believe?
