The Man Between the Static is a figure constantly blurred by the flickering of "tv static". His entire body is leeched of color, and a reel of grainy imagery is constantly projected across his clothing and skin.
The only perceptible details of his appearance are the outline of his slicked back hairdo and his fitted suit. "I only got to wear what I took with me."
INVENTORY
Inter-planar Fusion Device (Dismantled): The remains of a strange Sith alchemical invention - a small silver remote with indistinguishable dials. The Man Between the Static is constantly seen holding this broken remote. "Just another thing I can't let go."
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
The Man Between the Static is constantly on the fringes of lunacy. His dialogue ranges from word salad to intelligent jargon. He has brief glimmers of sanity, which expose the feelings and thoughts of the deeply traumatized and grieving man.

The Man Between the Static was originally created when an unwilling scientist was forced to test a prototype "weapon" for a Sith Alchemist. The experiment ended with the scientist becoming The Man Between the Static - finding himself reborn in a prison of darkness for five hundred years, or so The Man counted in his idleness. Some measure of eternity he could not express - that is how long the innocent scientist remained in another world. Forced to feel hunger without the need to eat and forced to suffer through living without the ability to die.
He didn't even recognize it when he returned to reality. On some barren wasteland where a laboratory once stood. Now a receding pile of war corpses littered the surrounding terrain, and The Man Between the Static was forced to wander aimlessly, in silent madness.
HISTORICAL ADDENDUM
The Man Between the Static discovered the limits of his abilities while attempting to communicate with a population of humans through "force scriptures". He dug large carvings into the earth with the force to illustrate messages to the people. Unfortunately, when he reached the limit of his abilities, he experienced the consequence of his overexertion.
In the conceptual reality his body partly dipped into, something had found him in the darkness. The use of his force abilities was like a bright light in the depths of the ocean. It was attracting predators.
After this incident, The Man between the Static has resigned to being more akin to a spectator in life. He now uses his force abilities sparingly.

- The Man Between the Static exists in a superposition between two realities. One being baseline reality, while the other one is a conceptual "limbo" of force energy. This means The Man Between the Static remains mostly incorporeal, and he cannot be harmed through traditional physical means.

- The Man Between the Static cannot physically interact with the real world due to his circumstances. He can only loosely manipulate the physical realm through the power of the force, but The Man Between the Static cannot use the force for extensive periods of time. If he uses his force talents for an undetermined amount of time, he has the chance of becoming stuck within the conceptual "force limbo", being forced to suffer another hundred years in darkness.
- He is capable of dying - only by being subjugated by a stronger force signature. Like the signal of a TV station - any disturbance to his force sustained body by another force wielder will cause harm.
