The lost return home

Space
Somewhere near the border of Galatic alliance space and first order space

She left
She left for home
Did they think she was dead or simply a prisoner?
She only prayed that she was accepted back in some form

Hyperspace gave way to real space, stars blowing up to reality. Before her was a space station a interdictor setting not to Far away that had ripped her from hyperspace

this is admiral Jacob requesting identification for your vessel and intentions

Sara blinked as she closed her eyes, she took a breath in tjem out before speaking

Sara Lee Jones captain of bolt squadron IDNUMBER 5076

Silence not a single word, before long she finally heard a voice

miss Jones please proceed to hanger 3a shut down your ship and await a escort your being temporally detained

Did they know what she did? She shrugged as she made her way to the hangar bay, she landed gently and shut her ship down before she got off, she was escorted by two troopers to a room with a table in it and two seats..she sat down and was left alone...

But not for long.

The door creaks open with a gentle hiss, and two First Order stormtroopers enter, taking up left and right flanks from the door. One was a equipped with a standard blaster carbine. The other carried a spear with a stun piece upon the tip. Stoic, they stand in silence.

And then a woman peered through and sauntered across the threshold.

"Hallo!"

With eyes squeezed tightly in mirth behind a pair of large, round spectacles, she waves outward with her right hand, palm facing the detainee. This woman was tall, clocking in at 1.9 meters, and that Knight of Ren greatcloak helped cut an intimidating figure.

"Sarah Lee Jones, is it? What a lucky day it is for you! Shall I call you Ms. Jones? Or perhaps Mrs. Jones?"

The auburn haired woman never let her expression change. Somehow, without looking, she grasps unto the top of her chair with both hands, leaning over with a wide smile.

That didn't take long...however She looked to the two guards as she sat back with a chuckle. Guess they really thought she was a threat...then entered that...wait...that couldn't be a ren

Quite tall, glasses round ones at that, cloak. If she was trying to intimidate this war veteran she was pretty much joking. However it confuses her if this was a ten then what the hell had happened since she left nearly year and a half ago...

uh ms Jones is fine, and I wouldn't call it lucky detained by my own motherland though you've good reason seeing as...i should be in a alliance prison

She sat back staring at the ren before her, she didn't look scared more less determined as she waves her hands about

so weather is good aye hope dossun is still standing of much like to see my folks after this

"Detained? Nonsense!"

The woman waved one of her hands back and forth as though such a statement couldn't be further from the truth. If she was annoyed by Sarah's lack of fear then it clearly didn't show. Truthfully, she was extremely happy to be alive today, and those positive vibes might be something a person could taste if they were Force sensitive.

"You aren't wearing any cuffs yet. Consider this an informal inquiry. A friendly inquiry, even. A chance to tell your side of the story."

This woman proceeds to sit, crossing her right leg over her left, and folding her hands in her lap. Leaning back casually, she pleasantly asks: "Where do you want to begin?"

Ok this woman was [bold] veeeery [/bold] happy, she Sara hated to say but it was rubbing off on her as she relaxed and nodded her head mumbling how she was correct before she sat up

where do I wanna begin...after my capture at bespin, I was knocked out didn't wake up until...until I was being transported when they retreated...i was moved around between ships till they got me aboard a ship questioned me but I didn't buckle no they cant...eventually sent to a prison ship I was there maybe...maybe half a year

She chuckled..shed been the trouble maker of the ship sent to isolation many many times..she looked away in thought before she looked back

then some bounty hunter attacked set free lotta prisoners...i managed to escape and get free to nar shadda...heres where I think...i think I made my stupid decision, I didn't come back...i couldn't deep down inside I felt shame that if been captured...i needed up being contacted by the galatic empire they wanted me for their fighter program. I figured new start so I joined, I flew maybe 20 mission then I grew homesick and well here we are ma'am

The woman in Ren's cloak shook her head a few times at Sarah's testimony, although she appeared to be listening quite intently at the words spoken. It was interesting to note that a regular interviews the spectacles upon her face would flash in a brilliant blue for but a moment. What was she up to? Perhaps intimidation wasn't on the agenda tonight.

"Think about what you're saying: you served the Order for a time, and you were captured. As a pilot, you should know your proper role as prisoner. You then claim to have been set free by a hunter, and somehow ended up on Nar Shadda -on the opposite side of the galaxy away from First Order territory.

"Interesting. . .

"And after that you joined up with the Galactic Empire. Now you say you want to return 'home'. After all that.

"Fascinating. . ."

She switched which leg crossed the other, a slanted smirk twisting further up on her face.

"Do you have any proof of your involvement in the Empire's fighter program? A serial number? Rank? Unit designation? Imperials are not ones to skimp on paperwork.

"See, I have to ask this . . . because. . . this is of course your side of the story. And it's a fine story. A compelling story. I feel very empathetic to your plight and the harrowing experiences you must have faced.

"But tell me: what is the core tenant of a citizen serving in the First Order's armed forces?"

Ok now she was creeped out again least a little bit, those flashing blue glasses caused her to adjust herself as she nodded to her question confirming what she just said. Before long she was able to speak again

serial number 50873-A rank officer squadron co leader of the fighter squadron phantom

She nodded as she rubbed and rubbed her temples, someone about thay emphasizing just wasn't right either way she nodded again and again before looking up as she spoke

loyalty, in my heart I was still loyal, I did not attack my empire I didn't hurt it's people...i did what I needed until it was time for my return...when the jedi were at their weakest and i could make it through

There was a few moments of respite as the mysterious woman with round shaped glasses simply considered Ms Jones' explanation. Then, riposte.

"Why are you embarrassed?" She asked in response to the body language of Sara rubbing her head.

"You answer correctly: loyalty is the motivating principle behind each and every citizen and soldier of the First Order. Through this loyalty, the Supreme Leader binds us into a singular, greater purpose."

The woman let this hang as the room appeared to dim in lighting.

"Exercising this loyalty, you will, of course, reveal every bit of data you can about Fighter Squadron Phantom and its technical capabilities. That debriefing will be handled by a different intel operative before your trial."

Darker. Darker. Details wash away. The walls disappear from view.

"Oh yes, I'm afraid. You will have to appear before military tribunal and make your case as a defector."

One tiny spotlight blared directly into Sara's face as the rest of the room was now cast in complete shadow.
From across the table one could make out the outline of the Order's investigator. Her glasses now glittered in a pleasant white-blue glow.
More unfortunate, however, was the spreading grin of impossibly white teeth curving upwards upon the sides.

"As your. . . only friend. . . being cooperative may not be enough to absolve you. But it will at least show you are indeed remorseful for your heinous actions."

I am not embarrassed ma'am just, little stressed is all lot has happened

She sat back up listening, those words she had heard for everyday of her academy life they became a motto, a code to follow that brought pride and honor to the first order

Was it getting darker? She glanced around getting uneasy as she adjusted herself in the chair, she relaxed and sat back but her mind was on full alert, dark and dark before she could not see a a she gasped at the light covering her own before looking across the table as she nearly jumped from her chair....she saw a lot of stuff but this...this wasn't normal

heinous crimes? I can understand calling that such if I murdered my own people or attacked it's planet's but I did no such thing....in fact I attacked the Jedi

She saidbas she was standing before she sat and huffed shaking her head

"I believe you. I believe you truly think working for another nation's armed forces is bound within the realm of loyalty."

Who was talking? It almost sounded like an icy hiss in her brain. Surely the voice was still issuing from the mouth with an alarmingly large set of triangular, chainsaw blade looking teeth.

The tone changed. This time it was more sympathetic.

"Just. . . relax. Sit back. Breathe deeply. If need be I have some benzodiazepine handy to soooooooooothe your brain into a more copacetic state."

One could hear a few foot steps moving from one side of the room to the other. Possibly, one of the guards had moved over and now stood behind Sara.

"Keep in mind that tonight I'm only presenting you with possible questions that you may have aimed against you while on trial. There most likely will be a zealot prosecuting on behalf of the state."

A momentary pause in the darkness.

"Let's try a different tack. Tell me: you mentioned 'folks' on Dossun. What is your family like?"

This was going from good to worse, she moved around nervously a bit before taking a deep breath and sat back relaxing into the chair

I won't need it im calm as the wind on a summer day

She listened, her hearing quite acute as she could tell someone possibly the guard was behind her, she subtly tensed up a normal reaction

father is a business man , mother is a stay at home wife. Not much to say I'm afraid both are very much imperial minded tis why they had me join the imperial academy

"You refer to them so matter-of-factly. Typecast into simple little categories. Maybe that's why leaving them until you got bored of the Empire was so easy for you?"

Oh, you could hear this strange woman smiling when she spoke.

"Can you imagine their pain when they received the letter that you were missing in action. Their pride and joy, gone. Instead of seeking them out. . .

"You just did not.

"Yes, I think I'm starting to see what kind of person you really are.

"Yes, THAT kind of person."

Disgust was welling up, echoing as syllables pounded together in barely contained hatred. And then it stopped.

"Oh well! Can't be helped now, right? We are almost done here. I assume you'll have some time to think things over."
