IMPERIAL CONFEDERATION
MAHPOREEM, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES
As the Imperial Confederation slowly takes it's place as the dominant Imperial faction in the galaxy, it as begun an extensive effort to consolidate most of the scattered Imperial elements across the galaxy under it's banner hoping to bring forth a new era of imperial dominance across the galaxy reminiscent of the days of the Old New Imperial Order. While some Imperial factions have opted to maintain their independence or have outright rejected the Confederation, others have come to understand the importance of unity amongst Imperials and have proven to be more receptive towards the Confederation's overtures.
Among these more receptive Imperial groups is an Imperial Remnant based on the Outer Rim world of Mahporeem. With a direct lineage going back all the way to the First Galactic Empire, this Imperial Remnant had survived mainly due to centuries of isolation from the galaxy, which most likely saved them from the Gulag Plague and the constant wars that had ravaged the galaxy in recent history. However recently the Imperials on Mahporeem had decided to reconnect themselves with the greater galaxy, which caught the attention of the nascent Imperial Confederation, the latest Imperialist galactic government to carry on the legacy of Palpatine's First Empire.
Seeing an opportunity to expand their influence in the galaxy and consolidate another Imperial group under their banner, the Confederation did not waste time into moving to contact the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. Before long, Supreme Commander Marlon Sularen had taken his flagship the INV Sularen's Revenge to the planet in order to spearhead the Confederation's diplomatic outreach to Mahporeem, with the ultimate goal of establishing formal ties between the Confederation and Mahporeem and convincing them to join the Confederation in it's quest to restore Imperial power across the galaxy once more.
Soon, the INV Sularen's Revenge would arrive in orbit of Mahporeem transmitting a simple message to the local authorities in command of the Imperial Remnant on Mahporeem. "To the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, i am Marlon Sularen, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Imperial Confederation. I have come here on the behalf of the Imperial Confederation to seek an audience with the leaders of your world in order to open bilateral relations between Mahporeem and the Confederation." the transmission would be followed by a set of Imperial codes utilized by the Imperial Confederation's Navy which while different from those utilized by the First Galactic Empire would be similar enough in structure to be recognized by the local authorities on Mahporeem as Imperial in nature which would validate the claims made by Sularen.
The first contact between the Imperial Confederation and Mahporeem had been made, and hopefully this diplomatic outreach would proceed as smoothly as possible as to ensure the eventual peaceful integration of Mahporeem into the Confederation.

Ronhar awoke with a jolt, as if he had been physically shaken awake. As he laid on his durasteel cot, he though about closing his eyes and simply going back to sleep. Of course, an Imperial Commando like him could never really afford to sleep in, so he instead stood up and began to get himself ready for the day. He took a quick shower, brushed his teeth, performed a quick diagnostic scan on his cybernetics limbs and donned his uniform and equipment. As he prepared to leave his sleeping quarters, he took a moment to pause and recite his personal mantra:
"My name is Ronhar Tane. I was born to human parents. My mother's name is Lormak. My father's name is Cordal. No matter what they do to me, I am still a human being."
Every since the Rhydonium accident, Ronhar had been experiencing...difficulties adjusting to his new reality. He was aware of his new cybernetic limbs of course: those were blatantly obvious for anyone to see. What he was
not aware of were all the neural implants that had been installed directly into his skull. After all, the doctors hadn't been exactly forthcoming with information on them. But whatever they were, or whatever they did, they sure made Ronhar one hell of a solider.
Ronhar made his way to the mess hall for a quick bite of breakfast. Even at 0600 hours, the room was packed with Junktroopers and support personnel, all jockeying with each other for a table to eat their food. As he joined the ever growing line of those waiting for their breakfast, he couldn't help but notice two Junktroopers getting into an increasingly loud argument:
"Why don't
you watch where you're going next time,
nerf herder?"
"Yeah? And why don't
you go suck on some more Rhydo, you piece of
bantha poodoo?"
As the two Junktrooper were moments away from getting into a brawl, Ronhar drew his heavy blaster pistol and fired a blaster bolt right in between their heads, leaving a large scorch mark directly on the wall across from them. Any conversations being had immediately ground to a halt, and room sat in awkward silence as everyone stared directly at Ronhar, all present far too terrified to say anything to the hulking Cyborg of a Stormtrooper.
"Why don't you two
shut up before I deal with you myself?", Ronhar hissed at them through his modified Stormtrooper Helmet. Normally, Ronhar wouldn't pay an argument like that any mind, and would just let the MPs handle the situation. Yet, ever since his accident and surgery, he was quickly discovering that his patience for other people was rapidly wearing thin.
Suddenly, the room's loudspeaker system crackled to life, and began broadcasting a message to those present:
"CAPTAIN TANE, YOU ARE TO REPORT TO CONFERENCE ROOM 118-B IMMEDIATELY."
Ronhar sighed to himself. Look likes breakfast would have to wait. Holstering his heavy blaster pistol, he made his way to the conference room. He stood outside for a moment as the heavy blast doors opened for him, and he stepped inside.
To his surprise, he was greeted by the members of Mahporeem's Planetary Triumvirate:
-Victport Graras, the Imperial and Human representative
-Japh Krache, female Rodian representing the alien delegation
-Jibnax Yotree, the Merzoidian representative
He instantly stood at attention before the representative, until Graras delcared:
"At ease, Captain".
Ronhar complied, and Graras continued:
"That was quite the scene you caused in mess hall, eh Captain?"
"My apologies sir, I simply took the most expedient action to resolve the situation."
"I'm sure you did, Captain, but thats not why you're here. I want you to listen to this".
With that, Graras begain playing an audio recording:
"To the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, I am Marlon Sularen, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Imperial Confederation. I have come here on the behalf of the Imperial Confederation to seek an audience with the leaders of your world in order to open bilateral relations between Mahporeem and the Confederation"
For a moment, the room sat in stunned silence. It would seem that both Krache and Yotree had been unaware of this communication. They quickly turned to Graras, with Krache angrily saying:
"What is this, Graras? Did you call them here? You would jeopardize our safety and security by calling strangers to our planet?'
"They're
hardly strangers, Krache. I'm sure you recall the history of our fine planet? How the ancient Galactic Empire once held total dominion over this world? Of course I didn't call them here. It seems that their successors simply wish to reestablish ties with us."
"I don't like it, Graras", interjected Yotree. "I don't like it one bit. We've managed to survive by staying hidden for all these years. To reopen ourselves to them...puts everything we worked to accomplish in serious danger."
"What are we to do, Yotree?", Graras shot back. "A Super Star Destroyer is orbiting our system, and as head of the Military, I can confidently tell you that our current forces are outmatched. Do you
really believe they'll ignore us because we asked them to? No, we need to meet with them and negotiate a favorable settlement on our terms."
The room descended into silence once more.
"Unless, of course, you'd like to find out firsthand just how deadly a Super Star Destroyer can be?", Graras quipped grimly.
Yotree sighed, and looked toward Krache.
"I suppose we don't have a choice, do we?"
Krached responded back:
"I suppose we don't. Very well, Graras, Yotree and I will support your decision to negotiate with these Imperials."
"Excellent", Graras responded. "I would like the good Captain here to travel with us, as head of our security detachment. Of course, you two are free to bring whatever security detail you would like to bring with you."
"Oh trust me Graras, I will be doing just
that, Krache quipped as Yotree nodded in agreement.
"Then I believe our business here is concluded. Let's get our preparations in order. It seems we're going to have a busy day ahead of us."
With that, both Krache and Yotree exited the conference room, as Graras lingered behind for just a moment.
"Is everything alright, sir?, asked Ronhar.
"Fine, Captain Tane, just fine. Tell me, what do you make of this situation?"
"Me, sir? Well, I think its about time we get back into the galaxy. We've been silent for far to long. It's certainly good timing that this Marlon fellow dropped by when he did.
"Right...good timing...of course, thank you captain. You are to be on standby until further notice. Dismissed."
With that, Ronhar took his leave, readying himself for the negotiations that were soon to come.
