STRENGTHS​

• | Voidstone | The Lightglaive is equipped with a Voidstone to prevent its manipulation by enemies using the Force, and is controlled via a repulsor generator to alter/manipulate its flightpath via arm movements with a specialized vambrace. To prevent the Voidstone from nullifying her own usage of the Force, the Voidstone is embedded in a specialized chamber that opens and activates the stone once it reaches the minimum distance needed to not affect Shizuma. This function can be remotely enabled and disabled at will.
• | Versatility | The Lightglaive's greatest strength is its versatility in Fumi's hands. While typically used as a thrown weapon that can be used for mid-range fighting, the Lightglaive can be wielded in hand for close-quarter combat in place of her standard shoto sabers. With how the Lightglaive is constructed, its plasmatic blades can be deactivated, exposing the cortosis sheaths that can be used to disable lightsabers and leave her opponents vulnerable. Its unique application in combat also makes it incredibly difficult to defend against. Its greatest strength is its ability to be used via the Force or through technology, making it difficult to anticipate its use.

WEAKNESSES​

• | Large | Not the most practical form for a lightsaber to take, making it difficult to use like a lightsaber or a typical melee weapon, for that matter.
• | Range | While it can be used for medium-range combat as a thrown weapon, the Lightglaive has incredibly short range for close-quarter combat in comparison to a standard lightsaber.
• | EMP | The Lightglaive is susceptible to EMP/ionic effects, disabling the ability to use its functions remotely. This can also render the weapon largely useless while the Voidstone chamber is open, as it cannot be manipulated or retrieved through the Force without being physically taken back.

DESCRIPTION

Throughout the years, the Galaxy has produced a great number of different lightsabers. The Lightglaive is no exception, being a thrown weapon that features three lightsaber emitters contained within a curved magnetic field to give it its unique shape. Hurrikaine crystals give the Lightglaive its distinct purple edge and also enhance its cutting power when active. This is the signature weapon of Fumi Shizumi, its creator and wielder. Its construction and usage in combat blends both the Force and ancient Kage fighting styles in a deceiving, chaotic fashion to wreak havoc on her enemy's focus and ability to counter it.​

When the plasmatic edge is not activated, the Lightglaive features a songsteel edge, its cutting power enhanced via an onboard vibrogenerator. A cortosis sheath covers the emitter, which can be used to short-circuit enemy lightsabers without hindering its own lightsaber functions. A repulsor generator gives Fumi the ability to alter its flightpath and trajectory with wide arcs while the Voidstone housed in a specialized chamber meant to contain its Force Nullifying effects is open. When using the Force to manipulate the Lightglaive, its trajectory can be altered with sharp turns and bounce through many enemies.​

This allows Fumi to still control the weapon while making it unfeasible for other Force Users to use the Force to alter its path without physically throwing something in its path to change its course or block it. All aspects of the weapon can be remotely activated and deactivated at will via a special vambrace and hand motions, making it a chaotic weapon to try and predict even when the opponent is able to pick up the nuances of its functions.​
