THE LIANNA COMPACT
In the current era of instability, where powers old and new rise and fall across the galaxy, two major forces within the Tingel Arm have begun to move toward renewed diplomacy. The Imperial Confederation, following its victory at Atrisia against the devious Core-Imperials and the destruction of the Third Death Star, has formally requested a diplomatic summit with the Diarchy.
For those well-versed in recent history, this development carries a certain irony. One of the Confederation’s core members, the Imperial Sector Authority, descends from the remnants of the mostly forgotten Empire of the Lost. It was these Lost-Imperials who previously attempted to negotiate with the Diarchs on their capital, a historically important Imperial world, of Bastion, in a poorly executed effort to reclaim the planet.
That meeting ultimately failed not only due to mistrust and competing goals, but also because of an unseen third party. Unknown to either delegation at the time, the secretive and parasitic Fifth Wing had infiltrated the summit, intending to eliminate the leadership of both governments in a single coordinated strike.
Now, with the Fifth Wing all but eradicated, the circumstances surrounding renewed talks have changed. For the first time since Bastion, Confederate-Imperials and Diarchs can meet without hidden actors working to sabotage the process; they may succeed in building an alliance.
OBJECTIVE I: Politics of the Past; Forges of the Future
Delegations of the Imperial Confederation and the Diarchy convene on Lianna, the former capital of the Empire of the Lost. Once the political center of a fallen regime, the world now serves primarily as a symbol, its influence diminished, but its history impossible to ignore. The summit is being held within the Imperial Palace of the late Emperor, Velran Kilran, a vast and weathered complex whose halls once commanded obedience across entire sectors. The choice of Lianna is intentional: we once parlayed on your capital; now we parlay on what was once ours.
Within the palace, representatives are expected to engage in formal political dialogue aimed at addressing past conflicts and defining the shape of future relations. Old grievances, unresolved claims, and ideological differences remain present beneath the surface, even as shared threats push both sides toward cooperation. This objective focuses on negotiation, positioning, and the testing of trust, with the outcome shaping whether the summit moves toward meaningful alignment or stalls under the weight of history.

OBJECTIVE II: Operation Dual Dominion
As talks proceed on Lianna, contingents of the Imperial Confederation and Diarchy militaries have been deployed to Mon Cala (Dac) for a full-scale military exercise. A dense tropical island has been designated as the combat zone, chosen for its difficult terrain, limited visibility, and ability to stress command and control. Each faction establishes an IM-455 Modular Garrison as a hardened forward base, complete with defenses and a centralized command core.
The operation is a direct-force engagement. Both sides are tasked with advancing through hostile terrain, breaching enemy fortifications, and seizing control of the opposing citadel’s command room at the highest level, while defending their own. The exercise is designed to test assault doctrine, defensive planning, and unit coordination under sustained pressure. Though officially a wargame, Operation Dual Dominion is treated as a proving ground. It is meant to show not how well each side negotiates, but how well they fight.
