The Legion on the Move (The Order of the Silver Jedi)

Everything looked so different through the scope of the A2 Onyx rifle, it didn't just zoomed the view of the target in sight... but it also gave a sense of security and some could even say power. The customized rifle built in order to match the needs of the Antarian Rangers was quite powerful and it just didn't fulfill the minimum requirements, it excelled in precision and deadly accuracy.

Such weapon, in the hands of someone as experienced as Wedge Hallmor would be quite deadly... nevertheless, today's mission was not related to something lethal, in fact; the man guessed that such mission was just a test performed by the Silver Jedi in order to evaluate the aptitude and attitude an Antarian Ranger could achieve... but he was not sure of it since everything they were told was that they needed to raid an illegal warehouse. The place, hidden within woods; was the small base of operations of a illegal trader that thought that being so close to the Silver Jedi would shield his operations. Odd way of thinking but at least that was what the Antarian Rangers were told during the mission briefing.

In order to complete the task, all the Rangers assigned to work with Master Graves received a new armor called Gladius, it was different from the standard equipment the Antarians had and it seemed quite efficient, but getting used to the hud was kind of difficult for Wedge.

While he was completely ducked with his chest to the ground, the corellian began to look through his scope at all the possible angles of the warehouse while he knew that another Ranger was in a position securing the other side of the warehouse... based on the briefing, the idea was to secure the place and cover the Jedi Master while he approached with three more Rangers and infiltrated the place.

"Why aren't we just bombarding the building?" said Wedge complaining at the whole operation. He was efficient and quite versed in warfare, but sometimes he just had a problem with the way Jedi engaged in missions.

"Isn't it obvious Raven Four?" said the neutral and calmed voice of a man through the link "We are here to capture the goods..."

Wedge opened his eyes widely, he was talking out loud through the comlink and the Jedi in charge heard him. "I'm... I'm sorry... Sir! Of course!" said nervously, afterwards; he just placed his device in silence. He looked through the scope at the main gate and noticed the zoomed image of Vexander Graves and the other three Rangers about to enter the place... however; the Jedi was looking straight to him like if he was just next to him... Jedi and their weird ways... perhaps it was just the Force.

"Reckless and stupid..." murmured as he began to picture the Jedi deducting points in his mission performance... or so he thought...

"We am going in, Raven Four and Five, hold your position and cover our backs. Do not let anyone escape..."

The voice of Raven Five could be heard in the comm "Acknowledged"

After a second Wedge replied as well:

"Acknowledge Master Graves."

In a heartbeat, through the scope. Wedge could see the ignition of a blue blade and how he just began to cut open the main door of the warehouse with it while Raven One through Three covered the perimeter securing the area for Vexander to go in.

Within just a few moments, the main door of the warehouse was opened and the team lead by the Jedi Master moved with speed and without mercy... it was hard to see such determination in Jedi, but from Wedge's point of view; it was necessary when someone was breaking the law and instigating terrorism while smuggling illegal or restricted items.

The corellian sniper looked through the scope and remained alert to movements coming from hostile forces... nevertheless, the arrival and assault from the Master and his team definitely caught the illegal operation by surprise. Shots could be heard in the distance and some radio chatter in the Raven's channel pointed to the fact that there was little resistance but there was some. A couple of minutes passed and the amount of struggle and chatter diminished greatly... But in the blink of an eye, an alarm could be heard in the warehouse... an unexpected outcome.

Graves here, most hostiles have been subdued but seems that the big fish is around and activated a defense system... what is the status out there?

The Jedi sounded calmed and cool. Such determination definitely was the result of deep training in the ways of the Force; something many of the Antarian Rangers looked up to, even Wedge did. But at the moment he heard the alarm and the confirmation from the Master that it was the omen of something worse... it just troubled him.

In just a moment, the voice of Raven Five could be heard through the comm, a female voice from the looks of it.

"Five here, nothing to report..."

Wedge looked once again through his scope and began to survey the place, but a noise across the distance like the humming sound of an engine could be heard. Such sound made the man look around the place but there was nothing to see... as an involuntary and instinctive move, he raised his eyes to the sky and that is when he saw it... at least 3 transports closing in with enough size in order to estimate at least 35 to 40 troops.

Within a moment, the corellian activated his side of the line in the com channel they were sharing and proceeded to report.

"Four here! We have three transports closing in from the west... ETA 3 to 5 minutes. at least 30 hostiles closing in."

The man began to point his rifle to the transports and moved his index finger close to the trigger... with a lot of desire to just shoot and hope for the better, but although he was quite good; it was not likely for him to do actual damage.

"Change of plan Raven squad. Re-group at the warehouse and prepare to withstand the attack. Four, Five, move out inmediately"

Wedge raised his eyebrow a bit, but he did understand the tactic... the goods were valuable and they wouldn't just shoot at the warehouse just like they didn't... they would just storm the place hoping to kill the Silver Jedi Team and then move the goods or something similar... therefore, staying inside and shooting back was like the best option they had.

"Double time Ravens!"

The Jedi's command was everything Wedge needed, he just took his rifle and placed it in the back of his suit while he took his AB-1 'Marshal' pistol from it's holster and began to run with it in case he needed to shoot at something. Although he just hoped he didn't have to.

"I am on the move Master Graves, Four out!"

Race to the warehouse, at around 1 mile away... in less time than the transports... he was going to face problems...

Master [member="Vexander Graves"]

Juliette Moliere paced behind the crew within the control room of the Antarian Rangers HQ. Prepared and ready to scramble. She listed to the incoming communications from the a small Recon squadron who, as this point, reported on the on ground situation. Nothing of significance thus far, although she remained on edge as anything can transpire without warning. A second communication line is open, that from the ground forces and Master Vexander Graves. A Jedi she has yet to meet, however his status within the Silver Order is well known to most, and held in great esteem.

"Captain!", the voice from the male crew member alerted her. " We have three unidentified ships, on senors, troop transports by the look of em, they have come out of nowhere!". This event only moments before Master Graves would physically sight them on ground.

"Inform Master Graves, Raven's Claw Squadron is in the air. Contact Raven's Eye squad tell them to regroup and fall in behind RCS". She hit the scramble alert and the klaxton blared it's message throughout the base.

"Yes Squardon Leader Moliere", the only reply, as the communications leader sent the message.

Running down the corridor, and through to the hangar, Jules could see the six Liberty Interceptors prepared for take off. Immediately she jumped into her ship, buckled up and clipped her flight helmet around her throat. All systems up, energy running, she wasted no time in dropping the cockpit canopy and existed the hangar.

"This is Squadron Leader Moliere, Raven's Claw call in!". She was not surprised to hear the immediately sign off and following behind her.

"Master Graves, this is Squad Leader Moliere. Our ETA in less then five minutes, what are your orders?", she needed the Jedi's rule of engagement.
