If one were to ask how good the scrapping industry was doing these days. Some would tell you that it was doing better than most with all the conflicts within the galaxy happening at this time. From battles between force orders to the brotherhood of the maw ransacking and looting planets in their crusades of extinction. If there was one place that you wanted to find the greatest amount of scrap anywhere in the galaxy, you could look on the junkyard planets of Lothor Minor or Raxus Prime. However those planets were fickle and danger hid around every corner. The Planet of Tatooine was no less dangerous than those mentioned planets but it provided an atmosphere of calm despite the criminal syndicates and the tusken raider attacks.
The Hive of Scum and Villainy offered something that no one else could and that would be good scrap, from armor parts to extoic weaponry sold by jawas. All of that treasured loot would be within Hedgar's Scrapyard, a large compound of scrap and junk piled high that it could be seen from miles around. Although you'd think that the tuskens or jawas would have invaded by now, to take all the loot and then sell it back to the farmers and settlers within the various settlements.
However, Edward Hedgar was no pushover having left the New Imperial Order to establish himself as a legitimate businessman and leave the fighting far behind him. Although since this was tatooine after all, the "legitimize" claim might be just good for a laugh. As even Hedgar sold scrap to the criminal underworld in order to pay the bills. Hiring muscle wasn't that difficult due to the amount of criminals, so they had various cargo skiffs and thugs to protect his assets. Although he had managed to have some form of trouble with the Hutt Clans after he sold them a piece of worthless junk that he talked up. A Small bounty soon followed afterwards of $5,000 credits. Enough for anyone to get by on but not a large amount to entice any of the bigger game bounty hunters.
All the exotic goods sold at Hedgar's Scrapyard would eventually draw the attention of the Skraal Engineer, Ikit Doomspire. Traveling their wasn't difficult but crossing the shifting dune seas to reach the place would be the most dangerous of all. Tusken Raider Attacks and avoiding the numerous sandcrawlers of the jawa tribes that lived nearby. Edward Hedgar knew that jawas liked to handle scrap and could be good underworld tech engineers, so he hired an entire tribe of them to run the scrapyard for him and handle haggling the prices from unexpecting customers as they were naturals at it.
Within a short time of their arrival, they had already managed to assemble small worker droids out of scrap parts to help them in their work and serve as the maintenance crew for the scrapyard so that the hired thugs focused on protecting the scrapyard from harm. In total there was about 50 men armed with a various assortment of weaponry and armor, ranging from none at all to heavily armored mercenaries. Ikit Doomspire made his way there on the back of a bantha although he technically did have a speeder at one point in the journey over here but that broke down due to sabotage and he had to persuade some tuskens to let him ride one using his not so friendly arm cannon. Slowly making his way to the entrance into the scrapyard itself to speak with the Foreman.
The Guardsman at the gate would unlock the fortified entryway, allowing the Skraal Engineer inside for the first time. He handed the bantha off to one of the thugs who promptly looked at him like he was crazy. However the subtle gesture of his cannon arm attachment in the general direction of them would be more than enough to make them part ways. "Mountains of scrap, yes, yes. Exotic goods are hard to find." Ikit spoke to himself as his helmet's voice cobulator translated his broken standard basic into understandable basic. Trade languages were also programmed into the armored helmet, so that would allow him to haggle a good price from the owner himself. He knew better than to trust jawas in his condition, due to wearing customized power armor made within the forges of Skraalzzar.
Ikit surveyed the wider landscape, as he made his way through. Looking at various parts that the scrapyard collected from the Old Republic Era right up to the current timeline. He specifically looked interested in the acquirement of a harrower turbolaser battery unit. Those would do well in protecting the Seven Clandoms of Skraalzzar from the Dwarrow Menace. Although he was also on the lookout for burned out ion cannon parts and ion fuel cells from the various starship parts. He took note of the symbol of the Ancient Galactic Republic on a rusted blast-door that was half cracked and wouldn't function as he surveyed the giant scrapyard some more. Either waiting for the Foreman to come to him, or for other unexpected guest to arrive.

Paaerduag with a drinking problem
Jho'Henig landed on Tatooine. He is a smuggler and an adventurer who goes on various journeys to get goods to smuggle. He landed in Mos Eisley, took a bottle of some wine to drink and he started his way to Hedgar's Scrapyard. He came to the Scrapyard and the guard allowed him to enter. Paaerduag started looking for some really valuable items, but currently, he found only regular scrap. He took some, so he could clean it, pretend that the scrap does work, sell it to some unsuspecting individuals and make money that way. He noticed that Ikit Doomspire was standing here, but the paaerduag decided not to bother him yet.

Ikit was overlooking a pile of scrap from the Republic Dark Ages, a power fusion cell. Mostly experimental technology but worth a fortune if you know how to reverse engineer it and then sell it back onto the galactic market. Although the skraal engineer didn't much care for material wealth, having credits was good in a pinch because you could pay people off that tried to assassinate you. And even though he was the second seat of skraalzzar, even he had enemies within the Council of Seven. Enemies that could end your life without a second thought due to their own self-interest and preservation tactics.
His helmet scanners alerted him to another's presence within the scrapyard, having been let inside by one of the various guardsman that patrolled the compound itself. He took a few minutes to turn his head to look at the new comer with interest, Hedgar's Scrapyard attracted a lot of different people. However there was something different about them from the common rift-raff here on tatooine. Although he could allow them to make the first contact, he was well prepared for a conversation where he could pry some information about galactic events. Knowledgeable tho he were, he didn't know the first thing about how the galaxy was operating since his clan existed in mutual isolation when compared to all of the other planets within the galaxy underneath one of the factions domains.
Walking closer to the being also checking out scraps, and swiping some for himself no doubt. He finally appeared near him enough for the being to understand him without having to yell closer. "You are, Paaerduag. Yes Yes." Ikit spoke using broken galactic standard basic towards the being. Although while this conversation was going on the Foreman of the Scrapyard, Edward Hedgar would be making his way out of his broken starship tower that housed his personal residence within the compound. His jacket lightly dusted from the sands of tatooine and equipped himself with light armor with a brown jacket overneath, a blaster within the jacket for his quickdraw was impressive although not as impressive as others within the galaxy that had months of practice mastering such arts.
Hedgar had heard that a skraal engineer was looking for him, although the reason why remained unclear and his underling walked out before he could even demand an answer. Passing by some of the jawa tribe members that were assembling scrap inventions inside of their rusted out workshop. He tolerated them although they often stole scrap from the yard that they were supposed to be working at. He half expected that a sandcrawler or two would make their way over here to sell more useless junk, to which he would buy for a fair price regardless of weather it worked or not. Making his way towards the entrance to where the skraal was and his new found company for the day.

Paaerduag with a drinking problem
Jho'Henig noticed Ikit and then Jho, the first head, responded to him: "Well, hello. Yes, as you guessed, I am a Paaerduag. I came here looking for profit. What are your goals here?" As mentioned above, Jho'Henig looks for goods that still can be repaired with his skills, and if he cannot, he would clean non-working goods, sell them and pretend they "work", unlike the Skraal he met, who possesed engineering skills and is looking for creations that will protect the clans of Skraalzzar

Ikit Doomspire
