The journey to becoming a Jedi

Corvus considered her Master's words. In a way they stung but by the same token they were true. Master Bishop wasn't her old Master but he was clearly making a difference to the person she was. It was just that she was finding the early going a little uncomfortable.

"You asked me to speak freely Master and I therefore have to say that I appreciate your guidance. I am, perhaps, a little set in my ways but with your continued guidance, I am confident that I will become a better Jedi than I ever could have become back on my home world. I hope, in turn, that I am able to meet your expectations as a Padawan."

"You have started out strong." He finally replied softly. Perhaps she was simply like that. Bred to say the right words all the time to the point that it just became second nature to her. If that was the case, well then he'd have to make do with his robot Jedi Padawan.

He smiled to himself when he imagined that.

"This should be it for your first lesson. Head to a training room tomorrow." Bowing to her, and with a smile he said, "you may depart now."

Corvus bowed in return. "Thank you my Master. Until tomorrow.". Corvus then rushed off to meet Tugoro as he'd asked her to practice in order to show her his prowess with the lightsaber. She considered what to do. 'I must make sure not to pick up any bad habits before my Master has given me some formal pointers - but it's a chance to meet someone that has some things in common with me.'

The following day, Corvus arrived at the training room at the prescribed time but found her Master wasn't there. He had, however, left her a message that he felt a mission would be of more benefit than lessons.
