Description:
The turret was designed to be utilized for defense purposes only. It can be used to defend LZs, military bases, and other structures. It comes with both an automated defense system and advanced targeting computer. The automated defense system was a computer program that allowed the turret to be used without manual control while the advanced targeting computer, working in conjunction with the automated defense system, granted it the ability to target hostiles. The engineers at TDI felt this would be more feasible in terms of preserving lives.
The weapon comes with a twin charging station, built inside the base of the turret. The station would give the weapon it's needed power, rather than using a powerline, which enables the turret to be placed in more strategic places. Inside the crooked neck of the turret is the storage compartment where extra energy packs (6 total) are stored, and since it comes with an autoloader; it allows that function to extract new packs quickly while discharging the spent packs from the side. Rather than having the spent packs shot out from behind the turret, a side compartment located on the right side of the 'head' was designed to serve that purpose.
The Jequirity comes with the electromagnetic shield, where it's sole purpose is to deflect sensors. The turret sits on a swivel mount, granting it access to a 360% radius.
Through the tests that where conducted, the engineers discovered that the twin barrels on the turret weapon had a tendency to overheat, which resulted in the turret to automatically shut down. Because of this, the packs used for the turret were cut down to only 150 shots per (200 less than the standard 350 of laser, power cell, and canister weapons), still the risk of shut down was still there. On a positive note, the accuracy and punching power of the turret has a higher probability of breaking through shields.

I'll need this changed to something along the lines of having a higher probability of breaking through shields rather than an absolute as quoted above.

The second shield type is the Xythan Force Shield. TDI engineers felt that the turret had warranted to shields due to it's role as a defender and not an aggressor.

This is described as being a defender rather than an aggressor, implying greater defense than offense, but then goes on to carry the firepower to potentially rip through shields. The shield itself is a stub on wookieepedia and its source has about just as much information on it as the wookiee, and is designed specifically for droids and cyborgs. If you'd like to make use of the Xythan Force shield I will need to see at least 15 posts of development made.

I removed the XF shield. I had to many tabs open and ripped the link from the wrong source. As role of defender, it would need heavy firepower to prevent breaches and to keep enemies from simply storming in unopposed. This was one of the reasons I elected to go with only 150 shots per compared to a heavy blaster rifle with a power cell and gas canister that can hold up to 350 shots. And with only the one shield, it would need the firepower to offset it's lack of shielding and the 200 shots differential.
