Evolved from the core principles of the Naboo based Order of Shiraya, the Jedi Order is the overall organization for Light Side Force Users in the galaxy. It is an ancient monastic and philosophical organization dedicated to the preservation of peace, justice and balance throughout the High Republic and by extension the galaxy as a whole.
Being bound by the Shirayan Jedi Code, the order operates as a spiritual and ethical force, guiding its members to act in service of the greater good under the will of the Force. Their central temple and place of origin remains Shiraya’s Sanctuary upon Naboo, however the Jedi are expected to follow these tenets and serve wherever they are called.
Their allegiance lies not to governments or borders, but to the living Force itself and to the preservation of those ideals through the open support of the High Republic. Structures revolve around disciplined hierarchy, where each and every Jedi is expected to progress through years of rigorous training in meditation, diplomacy, combat, and ethics.
The Jedi High Council sits at the head of the order, and through them the will of the Force is interpreted and directed through the different enclaves of the Jedi Order.

The Jedi Order – The overall umbrella under which all Jedi belong. While there are many options for Enclaves within the Jedi Order, not every padawan dedicates their studies to one. These students are known simply as ‘Jedi’ and fall under the direct tutelage of the Jedi High Council and any Master or Knight within it.
Enclaves – Within the Jedi teachings there are many additional paths or books of teaching. Some concentrate around a particular planet, like the Green Jedi from the teachings of Corellia. Others come from particular beliefs or training edicts like those of the Jakku Enclave. These enclaves are self-governed by their own Jedi Councils, allowing freedom to operate around the galaxy while still having direct access to the High Jedi Council, which oversees all Jedi operations.
The Underground – The galaxy is dark and full of terrors. Many planets find themselves under the iron fists of more harsh regimes and this often leads to Jedi being stuck behind enemy borders or politically having to go into hiding while assisting the people of these planets. The Underground was designed on the back of this, a hidden network of hideaways, Jedi agents, well guarded starmap routes, and interspace safe houses. It exists purely for the purpose of assistance and rescue, with all roads eventually leading back to the High Republic.
The Circle of Reflection – Reflection is the ability to look upon the chosen path and deem it non-following of the code. The circle is a council of elder representatives, many of whom were once standees of the High Council. They may, when they feel, review the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order and their decisions, and are known to meditate heavily on this topic. Their rulings are final and binding.
RANKS OF THE JEDI ORDER

One Jedi chosen from the High Council shall sit as the Grandmaster of the Jedi. This role holds all authority to override the decisions of the council but only to preserve Order and Stability. The Grandmaster is the highest authority for all Jedi Enclaves and the Underground. They may be reviewed or chosen by the Circle of Reflection, but for such a task to be assigned would mean a dark mark upon the Jedi as a whole.

A Jedi who has been elevated to the High Council by order of the Circle of Reflection. These Jedi are instrumental to the diplomatic ideals of the Jedi Order and allow all in the room to have a say on any matter that needs their attention. They are usually stationed in Shiraya's Sanctuary on Naboo as the founding home of the Order.

A Jedi who has reached the rank of Master is a paragon of the Force, they have spent years training themselves to use it as their ally. They have usually seen many of their padawans through to full Jedi Knights or even Master's themselves and are held in extreme and valuable esteem by the entire order.

Upon being knighted a Jedi has moved from their training years and are now ready to serve the Force as a Jedi. They are the defenders of Peace and Justice in the High Republic and may begin taking Padawan's on as pupils themselves to teach and guide.

Sometimes referred to as an apprentice, these junior Jedi are the learners of the Jedi Creed. They are usually partnered up to Jedi Knights, Masters or even temple bound to lessons in relative safety while they learn to harness emotion, skill and ability. It is not uncommon for a Padawan to travel the galaxy with their assigned Knight or Master.
