Strengths:
Balanced: The Imperious is perhaps one of the most well rounded and balanced ships in the entire galaxy. It has a host of weaponry, defenses, and powerful shields. It is certainly not the strongest vessel in the entire galaxy, but it is one of the most well rounded. Due to its advanced nature the Imperious is also capable of entering a planets atmosphere, being one of the few large ships capable of doing this without any issue.
Fast: As it was built to be the Imperious is an incredibly fast star destroyer. It has a set of six engines each powered by an advanced reactor that provides a tremendous amount of energy. The hyperdrive aboard the Imperious stands as one of the most advanced in the galaxy and makes it one of the fastest Star Destroyers in the galaxy.
Weaknesses:
Fire-arch: The Fire-arch of the Imperious is really its only massive drawback. Its major turret systems though aligned along the bow of the ship have the constraint of only being able to turn in a two hundred and eighty degree firing arch. This means that the turrets of the Imperious cannot turn and fire behind the ship. Obviously this is a serious disadvantage as it means the Imperious has trouble dealing damage to vessels behind it.
Sensitive Engines: The Imperious as mentioned above has incredibly powerful engines. This means that the engines of the ship are also rather sensetive. Unlike on most Star Destroyers it is quite simple to take out the Imperious' Hyperdrive. Boan Rein does not consider this a weakness as she states that retreat is simply not an option, more logical commanders however see the fault in this logic and point out that the Imperious as a vessel is incredibly easy to strand.
Description:
The Imperious was designed nearly seven hundred years ago by the Mon Calamari Shipyards at the behest of the Galactic Empire.
The Imperious and its sister ships were created to be the most powerful and advanced Star Destroyer in the galaxy. It was made to be bigger, faster, stronger, and all around more powerful than any current ships that existed in the galaxy. The vessel holds the same triangular design structure as the Imperial Star Destroyer and has the same sloping structure as the Palleon Class Star Destroyer. However, unlike the previously listed vessel the Imperious was designed to be far more powerful.

After the events of the second Galactic Civil War the Imperious began to fall into the regular use by the Navy. There it sat, stagnant through wars and battles. Eventually the ship found its way into the service of an Imperial War Lord, there the ship was used to instill fear in an outer rim system. The vessel remained within the family of this Imperial Warlord for nearly three centuries until eventually the family was overthrown and the crew of the Imperious mutinied.
From there the ship became a pirate vessel, floating around aimlessly and going from captain to captain until eventually it found its way into a small pirate Armada.
Eventually, the vessel and its Armada was tracked down by One newly promoted Vice-Admiral Boan Rein. The Admiral having gained enough support and power with Lady Hauntruss and another Vice-Admiral had enough strength to garner herself a fleet.
The Admiral wanted a flagship fitting of her station, and having heard tales of the Imperious and its antics during the Galactic Civil War, Boan decided she had to have it. Setting out with her newly created fleet, Boan tracked down the Imperious and seized the vessel for herself.
The Admiral then made a deal with the owner of Titan Industries to retrofit the Imperious, giving it new paint, new hull, and everything else that it needed in return for a later favor. The Imperious is one of the most well balanced Star Destroyers in the Entire Galaxy. It holds a myriad of powerful weapons both short range and long range, acts as the primary Strikecraft of the Storm Commandos, and acts as the primary invasion vessel for Boan. This ships is not to be underestimated and is perfectly capable of conquering worlds almost on its own, carrying over ten thousand troops and several hundred vehicles.
Though its firepower is great, where it really excels is its engines. The Imperious has perhaps the most advanced starship engines in the galaxy, making it incredibly fast for its size and capable of moving at almost ludicrous speeds. These powerful engines also give it the capability of going into and maneuvering in atmosphere with no massive detriment, giving it a huge advantage over other similarly sized Star Destroyers.
The Imperious now stands as it once had, a balanced and powerful Star Destroyer designed to take on any opponent.
After the disappearance of Boan Rein the ship fell into the hands of the Sith Lord Vrag. The Sith used the as her flag, eventually taking it into several major combat engagements and running down several Jedi Fortresses using the Imperious' powerful engines and weapon systems. The vessel was then eventually taken into a more of a backseat roll as the One Sith gained victory after victory through ground invasion. During this time the Imperious settled into a training roll, cycling through officers and commanders as more of a training ship then anything else, much like the Super Star Destroyer Executor had once been.
Eventually, Vanir Technologies approached the Sith with an offer to purchase the Imperious. Alric Kuhn, having originally made a deal with Boan Rein for her eventual services had previously retrofitted the vessel under Titan Industries. Knowing the full capabilities of the ship and just how valuable it is Alric made a deal with Vrag to purchase the Imperious at a steep price.
Since its purchase by Vanir Technologies The Imperious has made its home in the shipyards of the Kiris Asteroid systems where it is slowly being upgraded.
