Name: The Imperial Palace

Intent: To Document the home of the One Sith on Coruscant

Classification: Palace

Location: Coruscant, Palace District

Affiliation: The One Sith

Description:
(The Imperial Palace is massive, you can read a full description here)
The Imperial Palace could be said to be one of the most massive and secure structures ever built in the History of the galaxy. For countless years it has served as hundreds of different different things. Chancellors homes, office buildings, secure location, and of course Imperial Palace. This structure has existed since the first days of the Republic and has been continually renovated, updated and remade.

The structure itself is a bunch of loosely connected buildings and towers, the tallest of which reaching 3km in height and the base of which stretches 20km. The Imperial palace spans a massive distance on Coruscant and is probably the single greatest structure ever built anywhere. All in all the Palace contained fifty different buildings and was so massive in its size that one could easily get lost in it.

The interior of the Palace changes on which structure one is within, however most of the Imperial Palace remains as it was during the countless years of the past. The outer towers are used as office buildings and homes for Ambassadors and trusted people of the One Sith, the only thing that has changed with the conquering of Coruscant was the Central spire that lay within the middle of the Imperial Palace hundreds of turbolaser canons surrounding it in order to protect against fighters and even capital ships. A large shield generator is also installed to protect the Imperial Palace, powerful enough to resist orbital bombardement.

The Central Spire, the tallest and widest of the Structures within the Imperial Palace became the new home of the One Sith. The inside of the Spire was not changed much, nor was the outside, yet the security system was upgraded to its fullest and thousands of tiny alterations were made by different Sith who chose their individuals rooms and where to stay. The Imperial Palace has effectively become a Sith Temple, with the Dark Lord taking up residence within its grand halls and the Rest of the One Sith lurking there as well.

The Entire central spire is guarded by a highly sophisticated security system, hundreds upon thousands of cameras designed to detect anyone who has not been in the palace before, dozens of blast doors lay throughout the facility and hundreds of Sith Acolytes, Knights, and Masters roam the halls at all times. To top this off, Yuuzhan Vong Slayers guard key sections of the Palace, each one weary and watchful of whoever enters.

Though perhaps not the most secure facility in the entire galaxy, the prospect of entering the Imperial Palace should pale even a Jedi Master.

The New Central spire Features several locations, each one who have been refitted and remade to suit the purposes of the One Sith.

(The Imperial Palace is massively huge so I will only be listing the most relevant locations.)

Training Rooms: These rooms were converted ante-chambers that have been lined with training mats, soft foam as to prevent injuries. Within the training room are hundreds upon hundreds of different weapons, each one designed to aid the student and the Master in teaching. These rooms are massive, stretching along and each having an open wall that viewed the outside world of Coruscant. These open walls are usually used to frighten or scare apprentices in a fight, most Masters thinking it was great sport to push them to the edge.

Throne Room: The Throne Room in the Imperial palace remained largely unchanged from the one that the Fel Empire had put in place. The Throne Room is situated at the top of the central spire with its expanse entirely open to the weather an sights o Coruscant, only the ceiling covering it. The Throne Room often remains unused and unseen, the Dark Lord hardly ever occupies the Throne and it is most often used by the Voices or Hands when convening with Ambassadors.

Dungeons: The Dungeons of the Imperial Palace have been in place since the time of the Old Empire under Palpatine. These massive expansive jail cells are similar to those found on the Death Star. There are three cell blocks beneath the Imperial Palace, One guarded by Yuuzhan Vong Slayers, and the other two by Imperial Royal Guardsmen. The two guarded by Darth Mierins Imperial Royal Guard are for normal prisoners, political dissidents, important prisoners of war, and everything down that line. The Cell Block guarded by the Slayers however is home to force users, specifically Jedi. This cell block is organized more specially, in that it houses a host of murderers, killers, and psychopaths along with the Jedi. Each Jedi or force user has two cells on either side of him/her, these cells are filled with two murderers, serial killers, rapists, etc.. This is to deter wannabe rescuers from simply shutting off the power to the cell block or any such nonsense, as if all the prisoners within are released, then the captured Jedi would have to deal with dozens of very unpleasant people while they are malnourished, tired, and very likely out of it.

Dark Lords Chambers: The Dark Lord chambers within the Imperial Palace are buried deep beneath the surface of the world. There they are hidden and secreted away from all but the highest ranked members of the One Sith, his Hands and Voices. The Dark Lords chambers are the Former Emperor Palpatines meditation rooms located deep under the Imperial Palace. The Chamber is a single massive room containing almost nothing except for a single great pylon upon which the Dark Lord sits at all times focusing his power on the force. To get into the chamber there is only one way, one massive hallway within which sit three massive double doors made of titanium and durasteel. Each door is guarded by two Yuuzhan Vong Slayers and beyond all three doors sit hundreds of the massive Force Dead Guards.

History:
(Again, the History of the Imperial Palace is massive and can be read here, I will be writing the history ever since the One Sith took over.)
Thought the Imperial Palace has stood for thousands of years its recent history could be said to be much more interesting.

When the One Sith conquered Coruscant instead of building themselves a new Sith Temple or constructing some gaudy fortress simply decided that the massive and almost unused Imperial Palace would become the new home of the One Sith. Mimicking Darth Krayts Empire the One Sith moved themselves into the Imperial Palace within a day of taking Coruscant. This wasn't a gradual move, it was a quick decisive invasion into the Palace. Almost immediately upon moving in the One Sith began to change and alter the Palace, small quirks that changed the palace to more suit their needs.

Residential areas were changed to make the Sith More comfortable, security systems were upgraded, training rooms were created, and the Dark Lrods Chambers were once again rebuilt. To The One Sith, the Palace quickly became a new home.

The Imperial Palace's central structure was entirely made their own, and now it appeared to be the New Sith Temple on Coruscant. The Imperial Palace central spire had essentially become the home of the One Sith, hundreds upon hundreds of Sith roam the halls at all times, they learn, teach, and skulk about doing what all Sith do, plot.

The Imperial Palace is once again the center of power on Coruscant.
