The Hutt Cartel Lore

According to our timeline, the Hutt Cartel managed to close its borders just after the outbreak of the Gulag Plague.

However, the plague still ravaged the Hutt Cartel and brought it to a standstill.

We can still come up with some lore for the Hutt Cartel stretching back a couple decades. Any suggestions?

Maybe the plague actually got in and killed some important Hutts, bringing in this new era of the Cartel?

Or due to the closing of its borders it lost tons of revenue throwing Hutt space into a time of poverty, even for the large and in charge people and now that it has resurfaced the new guys (us) take the opportunity to put down some old dogs and revitalize the Cartel

That's a very good little plan. I like it a lot actually and can totally get behind it. New blood is always more ambitious.

I was thinking the first big RP for us could be opening our borders again officially. Obviously people have been sneaking in but yeah
