DESCRIPTION

HISTORY

Darth Mekhis was never a particularly well-known Sith. Though she was instrumental to the Sith Empire during her prime, her fame quickly diminished in the following millennia. Her super weapons were destroyed unceremoniously, disciples killed, and name all but forgotten as the galaxy turned to focus on more important issues. Due to the eradication of her identity, her holocron was never taken very seriously. It floated from Sith to Sith, usually just as a footnote in a long-winded line of bartering. Eventually the Sith thought so little of it they let it fall into the hands of unaffiliated private collectors.

The Holocron itself only opens to those with sufficient presence in the Force. It was of no use other than an impressive bauble to those collectors. As with most artifact hoarders, the holocron then exchanged an impressive number of hands as more and more people used it to work their way to bigger and better relics. Through the centuries, the holocron was regularly traded, stolen, inherited, lost, found, cast adrift in space, sunk into an oceanic trench, recovered, lost, ad nauseam.

Until it eventually landed in a museum on the highly sophisticated world of Ashera. During the One Sith’s conquest of the planet, a Sithling under the moniker of “Darth Janus” was appraised of the artifacts presence in one of the planet’s museums. A monstrous little Ewok nearly stole it from him (not the first time something of value was stolen from him by Ewoks), though he did eventually leave with the holocron in tow.

Years after “Darth Janus” vanished into nothingness (or changed his name depending on who you ask), the holocron wound up in the hands of Darth Adekos. Darth Adekos gleamed much knowledge from the holocron, but ultimately it was only partial. As it turned out, the apex of the holocron had been detached- taking with it a great volume of the holocron’s most valuable information. With the help of Darth Carach, the apex was recovered from the ruins of Mekhis’ personal fortress on Rhen Var, among other things.

Carach was given the information he needed and then went on his way. As of present, the holocron remains in Adekos’ custody.

CONTENTS

In order to do was Mekhis did, she primarily employed such powers and abilities as Mechu-Deru and Mechu-Deru Vitae. Her personal instructions and insights into these arts are present within the holocron, provided those accessing it have the capacity to understand it. Darth Mekhis also employed some degree of Sith Alchemy in crafting the metanecron that serve her and so provides some small guide into that aspect as well.

More specifically, Darth Mekhis also includes a disturbingly detailed guide into the creation of those aforementioned Metanecron. With the apex of the holocron attached, the information provided by the gatekeeper increases drastically. The holocron can then also provide blueprints to a prototype of Mekhis’ infamous Sun Razer. This prototype can be applied to more stars, but is nowhere near as powerful as the final product. Individual tinkering can be undertaken to increase its power while reducing the amount of stars the Sun Razer can harvest, but it is incredibly unlikely (if not impossible) that anyone should even come close to the raw productive power provided by the originals.

This holocron contains NO blueprints, designs, or schematics for ANY superweapons.

As with all Sith, Mekhis was vain and assumed many would be interested in her life story. A complete autobiographical account of Mekhis’ life, leading up to her death, is included. These events often seem contradictory to historical record if one is able to find some to compare- largely in regards to where Mekhis describes how great, influential, accomplished, and respected she is.

Alongside this are her personal philosophies and political positions. Mekhis regards the Force coldly- another anomaly to dissect. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Governments should be totalitarian, because anything else is the idea of an idiot, because it didn’t come from her.

Standard Sith things, really. To round out the Holocron and increase its use to new disciples, Mekhis includes a rather standard account of the history of the Sith up until that point in time and the general Sith philosophy. These accounts are tainted with bias and the occasional historical inaccuracy.
