  • Origin: The Holocron was created by @Kylie Talor and a dedicated team of Jedi Scribes. Some Jal'Shey as well.

  • Description: The Alliance Jedi History Codex keeps alive the History of the Alliance Jedi Orders, lest they be forgotten and mistakes repeated. Also a good resource to consult for those seeking insight into that particular order.

  • NJO BRIEF OVERVIEW

  1. The Beggining of the New Jedi Order started on Sullust as it is known. They were a group of very disenfranchised Jedi. Many Orders had arisen and fallen by the time Omai Rhen banded together a few loyal followers, and they took a more sacred vow to go straight edges as they could upon the path of the Lightside.
  2. Throughout this time more and more Jedi were drawn into the fold, emboldened by an Order that did not tolerate the Darkside in any form. While some might have considered their extreme prejudice towards the Darkside as Inquistior like, they stayed stalwart in their beliefs. This core strength of conviction allowed them to tackle challeneges such as the various Orders of the Galaxy were lacking. Through their conviction they were able to face down the One Sith, and support the Alliances war that spanned deep into the Core Systems. Many Jedi died, or fell to the Darkside during those days, but the Order remained strong.
  3. Sometime after the One Sith had been devastated the NJO opened up a series of New Temples, most npoticeably restoring the Old Jedi Temples of Tython and Crosucant. With two beacons of Light their strength grew. But unknonst to them Dark Forces had already infiltrated their ranks.
  4. The following Era saw them take a more Militant Turn. acting as Commanders (Jedi Marshalls) as well as in other capcities they focused most of their effort into militarizing their skillsets and preparing for the coming conflict with the now defunct First Order. As the threat of the Sith Returned, and the First Orders Knights of Ren surfaced, they tunred their eyes towards a new set of threat and conflicts.
  5. Notably the Jedi Service Corps, and Green Jedi Conclave, later Green Jedi Order were sub groups of the now bloated NJO. The GJO focused on Corellia and a certain set of skills, while the Jedi Service Corp was the catch all for the less militant arm of the Order.
  6. A long war with the First Order ensued, with many more Jedi falling or simply vanishing into thin air. Despite this Taeli Raaf became a head figure within the Order. As the war raged on and the Alliance found itself struggling to keep up, she turned on the Jedi, revealing her true self as a Sith Lady. Already devastated by the War, the Death of Omai Rhen and the loss of other Jedi, the Order imploded, just about the same time the Alliance Crumbled.

  • THE SHATTERED ORDER
  1. After the Fall most of the Alliance Jedi found themselves at a loss. Many bailed, shcoked that they had been duped. Others no longer saw the Order as something worth serving. Regardless of their reasons hundreds left or were hunted down by the First Order, Sith and Knights of Ren as they mounted final indenpendent defenses of former GA worlds.
  2. The remaining Jedi went to ground, rallying around Coren Starchaser, creating what would come to be known as the Shattered Order. They clung to the original ideals and code of the NJO, though followed a looser operating doctrine. A mjority of their efforts were dedicated towards bolstering resistance to Imperial and Sith regimes across the galaxy, as well as ferreting pout deceit among their hosts; The Outer Rim Coalition.
  3. During this time many Jedi crosstrained in skills that the NJO would have considered unconventional. Judges (ORC Force Using Lawmen) trained them in small Arms and Spacemanship. Wardens of the Sky trained them in hand to hand, notably mutakai and CQB. Children of the Way (Monks) trained them in quartestaffs and martial weapons. With so many new skills they became versatile agentsof the lightside.
  • THE JEDI COVENANT
  1. Eventually the Jedi decided there was no need for a major council nor order. They made a pact to be loyal to the Jedi Code and each other, known as The Jedi Covenant. They followed the same path as the Shattered order and began to destabilize their base into effective cells. They spread far and wide, operating within the Shadows to serve the Light. When Sullust was retaken some went home, and established themselves ther. Others remained at D'Qar
  2. The Jedi Covenant values indivdualism, though still strongly Eschews the Dark Side and all its aspects. They maintan a wide network, and stay in touch mainly operating alongside their new hosts the ORC.
  3. Two classes have emerged, Watchmen; whom closley embody the valuees and tenants of the old NJO, keeping close eye on ORC space and furthering the cause in a more lawful; deliberate fashion. Some are soldiers, pilots etc. Then there are the Ronin. Akin to vigilantes these Jedi have chosen to remain within the Order, but do the darker dirtier work, taking matters into their own hands, making friends abroad, and supporting other Orders to retain good relationships among all jedi
  4. Regardles with the The Jedi Covenant, they can all be recalled and rallied, regardless of which party they fall into; should ORC or New Alliance interests need them.


HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Created by Kylie Talor and a dedicated team of Jedi Scribes. Much reasearch was conducted and the final result was encased in a shiny Sapphire Orb, using ancient Jal'Shey Techniques. After it's creation copies were made, and distributed to every Jedi Library in the various Orders.
