Strengths:
The Heart of Vulkan is an specially made Sith Amulet, created by Darth Vulkan for his own purposes. Infused with Dark Side power, the gold amulet bearing a fused blood red crystal exudes power through the Force. It has been made to be integrated and worn on his now decorative gorget, and is difficult to remove from it, though not impossible. The Amulet is crafted of gold and bears ancient Mandalorian and Sith symbols on the circular disk, depicting Mythosaurs, Dragons, a volcanic eruption, and an anvil beneath the blood red Lignan Fused Ruby that have been heavily imbued with the Force.
The amulet acts as a focal point for the Dark Side energies of the wearer, refining their control over the Force and amplifying their abilities with the Force to the point of becoming a Nexus of Dark Side energy. Having been imbued with the essence of several trapped smoke demons, the Amulet exudes Fear and loathing, able to make the hair on the back of one's neck stand on end simply being in close proximity to the amulet or cause animals to cower. On the other hand, the Amulet's presence on the individual completely removes their ability to use Lightsided Powers were they normally able to.

Strengths:
- Darkside Nexus: Much like many Sith Swords and Amulets carried by powerful Sith Lords, the Heart of Vulkan amplifies and refines the wearer's powers and control over their abilities to the point they become a walking Nexus of the Dark Side radiating fear and dread.
- Lightsaber Resistance
- Easily Detected: Force Users will be able to pin-point the amulet's location with relative ease and Non-Force Users will be able to sense the feeling of Fear and Dread as it approaches them.
- Lightside: Attempting to use Lightside Powers while wearing and using the Amulet is foolish and impossible.
- Ysalamiri: Its useless within the area of effect of an Ysalamiri.
