The Greater The Risk, The Greater The Reward (Darth Ferus)

Aiden had been confused when he received the first message from his contact here on Coruscant, the trusted Jolui Habrez. Ya right, more like slime ball. The man had been silently stealing from Aiden for years, taking a small portion of everyone of his jobs. Aiden let it pass because he still made decent money, and he honestly didn't know where else to go to find work. There was always the cantina; there he could find anyone to help him get a buck, but this was different.
When he received the first message from Jolui his voice was shaky and uncertain, something he had never heard before from Jolui. The next message was quick and desperate, each time getting more and more rushed for some kind of response from Aiden, but Aiden always left him dangling for a few days, he would sometime sweeten the deal that way. This time though, Jolui was different. The first message had expressed a new shipment that would be due soon from a relatively anonymous source as of right now. Aiden had done work for "anonymous" sources before and he usually got his money, but he didn't particularly like being kept in the dark when it came to the people he was working for, so this time on top of being a little late to return the call to his contact for regular reasons, he also was uninterested in the fact that the source decided he wanted to be kept "anonymous."
The next message came the very next day, which too was unusual for Jolui, usually Aiden had to make the first contact after Jolui's initial call, but again this time was peculiar; it was different now. What was causing his bantha poodoo of a contact to cower was now bringing him to wonder. Not many things could scare 'ole Jolui... This curiosity brought Aiden to finally return Jolui's call and require some demands. He needed to meet this mysterious person who was putting so much pressure on Jolui and have him explain the job, what exactly he wanted. He would have gone straight to Jolui, Aiden wasn't a very demanding man when it came to his life, but that was part of the issue as well, part of the reason Aiden needed to go to the source. Jolui was scared, and so scared he couldn't explain the situation. He just muttered out messages of urgency, of his need for me to work this job and make sure I don't mess up.
Whatever was in store for Aiden, he was both excited and terrified, because maybe this was the future he was so adamantly fighting for.

Ferus found himself on a rather odd planet this time. One he had been to before. Bosph. He stood in the lush grasslands, simply waiting. Jolui Habrez had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting this particular Darth during Ferus's time on Coruscant, and he was quickly pressed for information. Info on the Jedi's, the underworld of Coruscant, anything that could help the New Order. He in turn found out a smuggler by the name of [member="Aiden Krato"] . A smuggler could come in handy, especially one the informant spoke so highly of.

Of course, a Sith isn't so trusting. After a couple chokes Ferus was more then certain the man was telling the truth. Now, it was all a matter of waiting for the smuggler. There are a couple of artifacts the New Order could use, and a man good at sneaking things around would be more then helpful in.. Acquiring said artifacts.

Aiden was a little more comfortable now than he was walking on the surface of his makeshift home of Coruscant. Now he was in the comfort of his own ship, a simple YT-1300. It was old, it was worked, but it was dependable and most of all it was fast. Relatively fast that is for the price he paid for it. But Aiden didn't have any complaints about that, nor did he have any complaints about going to meet this mysterious person, at least not yet. He was uneasy, naturally, he has never really met an actual job placer. He didn't even know what to refer to them as having worked only through middlemen his entire life. Again he was used to it, it was the only life he knew, but that didn't help his anxiety, that only worsened the way his stomach churned and his brow smoothed with a thin layer of sweat in the climate controlled environment around him...
The sensors rang brightly, his eyes flickering open in the now set dim light of his quaint cockpit. Before him was the war torn surface of Bosph, a world he had only heard of before in the past when the Empire had demonstrated it's power on it's peaceful surface. He didn't know all that much about it's native species, but they seemed to handle the bombardment alright. They began rebuilding almost immediately. But amongst their disarray they hadn't reestablished their docking stations which was good for him because it allowed him to pass through into the orbit and onto the surface of the planet undetected and without worry. The coordinates that were given him by his contact lead him to what appeared to be a plains type biome, a place still scarred by the bombardment, leaving a beautifully eerie scene.
Among the burns there was a ship he wasn't familiar with, the make was sleek, different, gorgeous. Those butterflies in his stomach at the beginning of his journey began to flood in his entire being. Was he ready to become his own contact; to cut out the middle man and find his own work through new contacts? He was now suddenly more unsure than he has been in a long time and simultaneously with these feelings of anxiety came feelings he hadn't felt before. Something akin to anxiety, but different, more like a sickness of hope and confidence. That and he suddenly became very hungry, but for the soup. His hunger had subsided because of his young age for a time, it would come in time and then disappear once more after a feast here or there. Aiden never liked reminding himself of whom he truly was, the Anzati were a focused hungry people who enjoyed too much the life force of those species they shared this vast space with. But this new focused hunger actually helped him to push out the rest of the uneasy and sickening feelings that seemed to seep into his being as he landed the freighter and made his way down the entry ramp to meet his new associate.([member="Darth Ferus"])

Ferus watched as [member="Aiden Krato"] approached, quiet still. So the man was on time at least, that was good. He didn't so much as move an inch as the ship landed close by, instead waiting for the man to come out. Waiting for the man to reveal himself. At this point there wasn't much the Zabrak could do but think. Think on the jobs he would offer to the man. The secret jobs he wouldn't reveal until he was sure the man would do them. Secrets he wouldn't reveal until he actually told him. So now he waits.

Aiden took a deep breath, his hands clenching lightly in the pockets of his black pants, his wrists rubbing against the utility belt that held those pants up. The cold metal of the rugged belt pressing against his warm skin pulled his mind from the present situation. He could go for some kind of distraction right now from everything else that was going on around him, the sheer anxiety of situations like this made Aiden second guess if he even wanted to become his own boss. For a moment as his right foot left the ground of his ship and started down the boarding ramp he thought of how stupid he was. He was still just some naive kid, trying to make it big. The butterflies came even more quickly and fervent now than before as his mind began to doubt himself, but as his right foot struck, clicking form the metal heel of his boot, he scrunched his brow tight in a serious grimace and continued forward.

It was too late for him to doubt, too late for him to turn back and leave. He wanted a change, something new, something different something...
He immediately regretted his decision.
First the feet of his associate came into view as his line of sight made it past the top of the ramp opening, then the rest of the Zabrak's body. Aiden's eyes widened ever so slighty as he continued forward, now having to focus on his footsteps to get them to happen. It wasn't necessarily the appearance of the man before him that brought about this reaction, but he felt something. His body sensed some kind of inherent danger, it was that same sickness... darkness he had felt before. It caused a sense of distress to build within him, but he continued forward. He couldn't understand how he was feeling what he was feeling, or why, but it was danger. But Aiden never backed down on a job, that same need to somehow prove himself to everyone around him would build and overcome any other feeling as it had before, but this time these new feelings gave his determination a run for it's money.

His jaw clenched tightly as his eyes focused on the eyes on the man before him, a serious but more relaxed look smoothing onto his face as he closed the ground between them and held out his right hand, feeling naked as it left the confines of his pocket,
"Aiden Krato sir, it's nice to finally meet you," the words were forced with a hint of unsurety and Aiden simple hoped the man before him didn't notice as he willed himself to continue, "And who do I have the pleasure of working for?"

Darth Ferus stood draped in black. The silver shine of Songsteel showed across much of his body, but left gaps across his joints, allowing ease of movement. His hood was far down over his face, covering much of his skin, but allowing his red and black chin to be clearly seen. His words were soft, despite the obvious raspyness that came with it.

"Ah, so it is the esteemed [member="Aiden Krato"] ! How I have looked forward to meeting you, especially here." With both arms he spread them wide, motioning to the vastness of the plains. He turned his back on the boy, simply staring out at the pains themselves. He looked over his shoulder with a small smile plain on his lips, hinting to a twisted mind. "I am Darth Ferus. You shall be working for me." He turned fully, taking the hand in a light grip and a firm shake.
