The future? Like... with jetpacks?

"Yes. Me, of course," Rena commented off-hand. She was the local jetpack enthusiast, being able to basically take a jetpack and go HAM on it more or less instantly. Kind of her thing. Always, always let Rena near your jetpacks. Clearly, a good idea.

"Now, last question. How many of these things do you want?"

This was probably the most operative question. There was a working design that would interface with duraplast armour correctly in place of the bulky backpack, there was plenty of thrust and maneuverability and most definitely the good power ratio. However, the one downfall to this was that it was going to be expensive to make. How many he wanted would be the question to deal with here.

"One." Kix stated rather quickly with a wide grin plastered to his face. "We have one set of functional Katarn and that is the one I am clad in currently." His brown eyes fell upon the woman before he made a final inspection of the hologram. His mind quickly trying to memorize every bit of the design in-case he had to repair it himself. Though he also poised an easier solution:

"I would also like a copy of the blueprints if at all possible, that way I can add attachments or repair it if need be. I'd hate to have to come to Taris every time I'm shot in the shebs."

Rena couldn't help but grin a little. "Well, that works," she commented. Making more than one of these meant that the quality would have to go down, and that was always painful and a half. However, with a single production model, then she could go to town on its technical specifications, make it as good as she could and still make it one hell of a wondrous flying marvel. After all, she loved her jetpacks. Most people probably thought she had a fetish for them by now.

Eh. Whatever. People, man.

"I can give you a copy of the blueprints once the thing is done being made. I might make some last-minute changes, but the chances of that are particularly low. Besides, use this right and chances are you won't get shot, vod."
