The forms of a fight

On the planet of Drommund Vatsu, Darth Necrin had summoned his apprentice, [member="Demitry Draskovits"], for training. This lesson would be for him to try the different forms of lightsaber combat, and hopefully find the one he would focus on mastering. Necrin had chosen this world because it was away from the normal life on the more urban planets. Away from distractions, and the wildlife could help in the training.

Necrin had told him to meet him in the jungle on Drommund Vatsu, and given him coordinates to the place. It was a small clearing in the jungle, away from any vities, structures or other forms of civilization. Here, Necrin would lecture him on the seven forms, and show them in fight. He had also brought his Phantom Guard, to be used in demonstrating the forms. They were currently standing around Necrin, who was sitting and channeling the dark side while waiting. The Phantom Guard, as asual, were concealed so they wouldn't be seen until the right time.

Demitry arrived fairly early, [member="Darth Necrin"] would have barley had a chance at all to channel the energy before Demitry arrived. He was, as usual, over dressed with his huge fur cloak on. However, for once it actually had a purpose. He had two lightsabers within the compartment, and one on his waste. He had his theories about what he'd be learning today, and it seemed he was correct. He strolled over to Necrin, dipping his head
respectfully. "Hello master." He glanced around at the phantom guards, frowning a little. He wasn't overly keen on the guards, nor did he trust them. He didn't trust many people so this wasn't surprising. "What are those... Guards for? Do I have to fight them? " He placed his hand on the hilt of his lightsaber, the other reaching inside his coat. Both in case he did have to fight them, and secondly for learning what he assumed he was going to be taught. "I wish to learn Jar'Kai if I have a choice, if not, whatever you specialise in."

Demitry seemed eager to learn as soon as he arrived. And it seemed he had guessed right on what this lesson would be about. Necrin rose, and walked over to his apprentice. "This is my personall strike force. The Phantom Guard. Yes, you are going to fight them." He began pacing back and forth, placing his hands behind his back, and talking about lightsaber combat. "You have made a lightsaber, but for it to be a weapon, you have to know how to use it. Thousands of years ago, the jedi and original sith made the first lightsaber form, often called form zero. It was merely the Principal of using a lightsaber. But With time, they developed different forms." He stopped, and looked at one of the guards. For this day, they had been given normal lightsabers instead of their usual lightpikes. The guard Necrin looked at took his lightsaber, and began showing some moves and slashes. "Form I, Shii-Cho, was the first official form. It is not speciallized for much, but it is the form that Works best against multiple opponents." Then the guards continued showing of the different forms in order, while Necrin spoke. "Form II, Makashi, made specifically for duelling With lightsabers. Form III, Soresu, the most defensive form, great at deflecting lightsabers and blasters, while using little energy. Form IV, Ataru, a very acrobatic form, and always staying on the offensive. Form V, Shien and Djem-So, a split form which mostly uses strenght and Counter-attacks. Form VI, Niman, a combination of all the earlier forms. And lastly form VII, Juyo, the most aggresive form there is, With almost no kind of Natural defense. It is also said a jedi from 800 years ago made a variation on Juyo, but there is no proof."

Necrin took a moment to breath after the lecturing, but also to let it sink in. He took out his own lightsaber, and activated it. "I speciallize in form V, specifically Djem So." He turned to one of the guards, and did a few maneuvers of form V against him. Then he stopped and turned back to [member="Demitry Draskovits"]. "You said you wanted to learn Jar'Kai, the art of dual wielding? Ambitious for someone so fresh. The form mostly Associated With Jar'Kai is Ataru. But before I begin teaching you, try a few strikes against each of these seven guards, so I can see what could best suit you."
