Normally Kamon would have sought to secure passage to his destination by simple sneaking onto the ship when no one was around to see him do so. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible with his current destination. Having been perusing the archives, he'd come across mention of a world that he'd not heard of before, but one that was clearly connected to the Current. Having an active search going on for the Current, he thought that this lead was worth looking into.
As such, he'd secured private passage through the rental of an old, E-wing Starfighter. It wasn't the best of ships, but it would do in a pinch. He'd left Tython behind and had zipped off into hyperspace with an unmatched eagerness. Was he finally close to finding someone that could teach him what he wanted to learn? He wasn't sure, but he knew that they were out there.
When he exited hyperspace, J't'p'tan loomed before him. He flew over it in search of anything, but saw nothing save for some old ruins. He settled the fighter down on the edge of the area surrounding the ruins and popped the hatch. The astromech situated behind him beeped a series of warnings to him, but he didn't pay them much mind. A rental droid in a rental fighter was suspect at best. Either way, he was determined to do what he'd come to do.
Jumping down from the fighter, he walked to the edge of the ruins and looked at them. Whatever had happened to this place felt off to him. He didn't want to set foot within, though. It felt like it would be trespassing. Instead, he sat down on the edge, just outside the ruins and began to meditate.
