Lirra, Mud Flats
The shuttle touched down, it's landing gear sinking slightly into the mud. Carefully stepping out, Werah surveyed the barren plane of mud that made up most of this world. Gesturing, he ordered the Ghost Squad to follow him. The plan was to build a outpost here, somewhere where Werah could hide in an emergency. There were cities on Lirra, but Werah wasn't interested in them - much. They had proved useful, as he had hired a team of builders, and bought plenty of building materials from them. He saw the Mud-Crawlers, far off, marking the spot where they would build. His armour squelching in the ground, he walked off in their direction...

Arriving there, Werah noticed very little difference between here, and where they landed, but it was a bit drier. One of the builders came up to him, and showed him the site so far. There were over a hundred builders, digging a large hole in the ground, frantically boarding up the sides as the mud poured back in. He told his squad to help around as much as they could, and followed the chief builder back to his Mud-Crawler. Like large trucks, these slow moving vehicles were good at transporting materials. Taking a good look at the blueprints, Werah gave the Head Builder the thumbs up. The diggers scampered, as the MudCrawlers filled in the foundations. Finally, a solid surface to stand on. Werah looked on as the giant machine quickly set the foundation. The building was underway...

Delam had not been invited to the Mud Flats. The business of the Obsidian Order was not his to know - the High Lord cared little for wizardry or other sorcerous powers. He had only come to provide some semblance of assistance, even if it was not asked for.

His shuttle sat down a ways away from Werah's own. Delam was the only occupant. He had not felt the need to bother his brothers and sisters with this - most of them did not appreciate the more menial tasks. Delam was different. He needed to be doing something no matter the time. While the rest of the legion returned to Zenith Prime for rest and resupply, Delam had scanned a list of the going-ons within the Techno Union.

He had chosen to assist here because it did not involve violence. While Delam felt the need to busy himself, he did not particularly enjoy the violence. The cathartic joy he felt in the midst of battle was temporary; the aftermath was never good. The hours after a conflict were always the worst. You thought about things - about things that you would rather ignore. He had no desire to lengthen that mental sentence by engaging in violence once again.

So he had come to the mud flats clad in his armor. It took effort to remove, and augmented his strength well enough to actually make him useful. The armor-clad warrior strode up alongside [member="Werah Unon"] and folded his arms over his chest.

He observed.

"I saw you were building something on the records, but I've no idea what," the blue lights of the helmet's visor shifted to the Kel-Dor. "Am I allowed to know?"

Surprised was hardly the word to describe Werah's reaction, when he saw [member="Delam Mairev"] fully clad in armour walking to the building site. Still though, he was a friend of the TU, and any help was good. Hearing Delam's question, Werah replied, "Officially? A communications centre. Unofficially? My person headquarters on Lirra." The builders had begun constructing the walls, hover-packs allowing them unrestricted movement. Showing him the blueprints, Werah pointed out the important points. "You see? Now, if I may ask, what exactly is your reason for being here?", said Werah, curious.

The steel-bound juggernaut made a low rumbling noise in reply. A few moments of silence passed before he reached up to remove his helmet and clip it to his belt. The man beneath was human, relatively young but marred with various facial scars and the eyes of an old soul. He ran a hand through his hair and turned to face the Kel-dor, lips pressed into a thin line.

"My warriors discovered something disheartening on Ruusan. We led a raid on Dressel to confirm it," he frowned, "Zenith Prime is mobilizing for war, and I needed to step away from the chaos for a time." Green eyes followed the workers as they floated about on hover-packs. "We've never met, though I know of you from an official capacity. I am Delam Mairev."

He cracked a thin smile.

"I've come to assist you in...this," he waved a hand toward the construction, "This armor is new. I've tested it in combat, but I want to see how well it can work under extensive stress. I haven't stepped out of it since Dressel." What a mess that was. "This will be your personal headquarters then? The Obsidian Order is branching out?"

[member="Werah Unon"]

Smiling, Werah replied, "The Obsidian Order isn't branching out. I am.". Using the force, Werah lifted a tool up to one of the builders, hovering in the air. "Things are stirring in the Techno Union. Zenith Prime is just the start. This world here, it's useful. The large mineral pools are very valuable, yet civilisation here is small. A few cities, a handful of people...no real government. This world haas a large wealth, and I intend to harvest it." Werah turned to look at the building, the steel walls that were already being placed. Werah grabbed a hover pack, and handed it to Delam. "If you want to test your armour, then feel free." Pointing out the Chief Builder, Werah told Delam, "If you want to help, talk to him. He's got plenty of jobs for everyone." With that, Werah closed his eyes, and felt the force. Concentrating, he lifted up a metal bar to a builder, and then lifted a toolbox for another. This was going to be a long day...

The building was coming along. Werah saw as the builders plated on the sheets of metal, armouring the outside. Werah practiced with the force, seeing how much he could lift. Quite a lot, as it turned out. "Hey, Seni! Come over here", Werah shouted. The young Ghost Squad member ran over. "Yes, Werah?" Concentrating, Werah felt her presence in the force, even though she herself was not a force user. Waving his hand, he spoke. "Walk 3 steps back. Turn to you right. Walk 10 paces forward." Unthinkingly, she followed Werah's instructions, which ended up making her walk into the wall. Dazed she looked back at Werah. Sighing, Werah walked over to her. "I know you don't sense the force Seni, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You must strengthen your mind, and not allow a simple mind trick to control you." She nodded, eyes wide, and ran off again. Closing his eyes once more, Werah moved his focus back onto the building work...

Twisting the frequency on the device, Werah carefully calibrated the communications dish. Reaching inside himself, once again, Werah lifted the heavy dish with his mind, dropping at the top of the building. A few builders caught it, and attached it to the spire atop the communications centre. Turning his head, Werah saw one of his Ghost Squad fixing on the last piece of the outer wall. Walking over, Werah grabbed a hover pack, and took a look at what had been done so far. The small communications centre had now got all its outer walls, and now even the beginning of a network. The main complex had now got its entire outer walls, a huge thick barrier against the outside world. Going inside, Werah saw the inner walls being fixed in, nearly complete too. With the outside finished, many builders were inside now, working on the flooring. Werah saw [member="Delam Mairev"] , lifting a huge plank of wood. Searching for the head builder, Werah went outside again. He saw him, calibrating another transmitter for the com center. Flying over, Werah landed in front of him. "Hey, where are the rations for my squad?" Werah asked. The head builder pointed at the MudCrawlers, and Werah went off towards them...

Werah walked inside the ever-growing building, checking that the builders had completed the floor. With its inner walls complete as well, the Headquarters was coming along. The communications center was nearly finished, just a bit of wiring was all that was left. He called to his squad, hovering high in the air. "Come on down, you need to eat something!" The Ghost Squad landed beside him, and Werah strode out towards the MudCrawler. Summoning their food, Werah handed it to them. He closed his eyes while they waited, helping as much as he could with the building work...

Werah gazed down the steps, that had been swiftly cut out by the builders, and into the room below. Though still a work-in-progress, the room was growing rapidly, Plasma Cutters neatly chopping away the stone. Closing the hatch again, Werah went off towards the communications center, just in time to bump into the chief builder. "Ah, Hello. We have managed to complete the communications network. Do you wish to test it out?", said the chief. "Of course. Send a signal to my ship. I need to get something from there anyway, so I'll check the connection there", Werah replied. The chief nodded, and Werah strode off towards his ship. Longing for the dry deserts of Halm, where he had spent most of his life so far, Werah felt the wet mud stick to his armour. He sighed, but continued, and soon arrived at his destination. Climbing inside, he checked the com sat. "Zz...Testing, Testing, 123, this is Com Center 145...Over..zZ" Needs a bit of adjustment, but it works, thought Werah. Quickly sending a reply, he grabbed 4 tanks of Helium, as well as a small tank of Durin Gas. Floating them beside him with the force, he began to walk back to the base...

Werah walked into the main complex, placing the tanks down in one of the rooms. The ceiling was nearly complete now, and the communications centre was fully operational. The basement team were making good progress, and a wall around the entire base had been started. The builders were now unloading all the items that Werah had purchased, carefully installing them in the main building. Werah looked into what would become his private study - a good-sized room, with desks, storage casks and more. Pleased Werah sat down outside, looking at the huge building that had appeared. He wondered where Delam was, but soon spotted him lifting huge amounts of material back and forth from the MudCrawlers. His ghost squad had been working well, it was good to see that they could function in a non-combat role, as well. Sighing, he checked his cons device, now fully functional thanks to the large setup of dishes and antenna...

With the ceiling complete, the Main Complex was impressive. Walking in, Werah looked into all the rooms: The Command Centre, his study, the Armoury, storage rooms, the grand chamber, dining hall and many more. In his study, Werah sat down, looking over some TU documents. Finishing, he checked the blueprints of the HeadQuarters again. There would be 4 buildings, the coms centre, an outdoor training yard, and the wall around it all. The buildings would be; The Main Complex, The Secondary Complex, The Barracks, and his Private Residence. He smiled to himself, considering how much staff he would need. His ghost squad would stay here, but they wouldn't be cooking and cleaning. Still though, workers from the city wouldn't be to expensive to buy, and guards could be trained from the local population. It looked like everything was going perfectly.

The Main Complex was complete. Walking around the great building, Werah decided that they needed staff, as soon as possible. Walking over to the Coms Centre, Werah quickly sent of a Advertisment throughout the TU, asking for people to work at the Headquarters on Lirrin. With that done, he checked on the walls, now nearly complete. Satisfied, he descended down, into the basement. Finding the secret passage, he made the way to his sealed bunker. 6 ghost squad workers were inside, building it, as the regular builders could not be trusted with everything. Picking up a plasma cutter, he helped to extend the Basement a bit, before returning above-ground...

The advert had done its job well. With over 20 guards, more than 50 staff, and many more engineers, the HQ was beginning to operate. He had also brought in 4 advisors, who stayed at the HQ permanently, a veteran soldier from the TU, to lead the guards, and even Suon Siti, a skilled manager, as his 2nd in command. The ceiling of the Secondary Complex was nearly complete, and the basement, and the walls, were finished. His private residence had made quick progress, and was nearly complete. Standing on the roof of the Main Complex, Werah looked out. Spreading his arms, he felt the wind rush past, as the sun gleamed on the endless fields of mud. This world was ready to change. And with his help, it would. Werah concentrated, focusing his mind, and body. The air shimmered, and he rose slightly off the ground. Releasing the power, he dropped back down. His skills, like the HQ, were growing...
