The Fire Rises

The FIV Merciless reverted itself back to realspace automatically when it hit the gravity well orbiting the planet Zakuul.

Following that, two dozen fighter craft deployed from its hangars on the tail of the Supreme Commander’s Daisya Infiltrator. One squadron taking up a position ahead and the other behind the extremely wide stealth craft, it only took a few minutes before he was landing at the Landing Zone provided for him.

Some Princess, or Governor, was who he was meant to be meeting he knew, about…

The Zakuulan Auxiliary.

Graush knew little of the people, or their ways. But he heard rumours of the fabled greatness of the planet’s background, greatness that he very much doubted. Which is why he had to come himself, to investigate, to learn. The Zakuulan Auxiliary meant little to the greatest warrior in the western part of the galaxy. There’d be battles he’d lead, and he’d win those battles with or without the aide of the auxiliary. It was just preferable to have them… And have them he would.

With the removal of the last Grand Moff, the Supreme Commander had immediately become used to the prospect of never being told no again.

Waiting is a thing of the past.

Tall, armoured figured descended the ramp before him, his helmeted gaze settling on the golden looking spires that struck high in the sky above him. The shroud of his helmet that was typically in place when the energy shield was active, present, concealing what he truly looked like underneath the high-tech armour.

Let us see if Zakuul is as cutthroat as the Order's Imperials.

The Crown Princess of Zakuul had long been waiting for someone from the First Order to visit her secluded part of the galaxy, though it wasn't much secluded anymore after the invasion. With the removal of her father Orliss, Kaila and her brother Theran had been attempting to properly transition their Empire underneath the rule of the Order.

The news of one of the Order's top figures visiting the Palace of Izax came with less timing than the Princess normally would have wished for, but she had little room for negotiations so soon after Zakuul had joined this new galactic power.

The nobles handmaidens dressed her down in a regal black dress, adorned with ancient Zakuulan writing and sigils about the ancient gods and dragons of the world. A small but humble tiara was placed on the Princess' head, something that showed status more than power. It was always a gamble of whether those in charge would be on some power trip or another.

"The Supreme Commander is here to see you, my lady."

A small nod to the messenger from the mirror as Kailari finished her preparation, before exiting her dressing room in the palace to make her way down to the dock. The wind from the height blew hard from the height as she made her way towards where the ship had landed, four Knights of Zakuul following close by the girl as she came out to meet the Commander.

She held a sweet grin on her face as she made her way towards the tall figure, his armoured visage obscuring what he truly looked like. It was mildly off-putting but still even if this was on Zakuul, the Commander was still truly in charge. Kaila made sure that he continued to feel that way, a submissive tone to her voice and a small curtsy as she addressed the man. There was little point in angering such a powerful figure and much to gain in being on his good side.

"My Lord, may I be the first to properly welcome you to the jewel of Zakuul." Raising herself once more, she stared into the blankness of [member="Asharad Graush"]'s visor as she tried to find a pair of eyes staring back at her. "Has the council of Moffs sent you?"

The Supreme Commander was a patient man, he didn't mind waiting for however long it took the Princess of Zakuul to come and greet him, or whatever attendant she sent his way. His agents throughout the First Order would continue his will and they'd report in when their missions were complete. Auxiliaries were in the process of being levied all throughout the Order, even as the Defense Minister made a personal visit to the home of the Eternal Throne.

When Graush's glowing crimson orbs spotted the cadre of Zakuul Knights that were escorting the Princess, the near seven foot colossus of a Sith Lord turned around to face them all, his arms crossing over his chest as his cybernetic digits gently tapped his opposing arm's armoured elbows.

When [member="Kailari Selanno"] greeted him, his head lowered in a shallow nod of his head before raising up once more. No matter what political games she sought to play, whether as submissive servant or cutthroat royalty, the Sith Lord was impervious to her... Feminine wiles. Of course, when she mentioned the Moff Council he paused, a slight, he imagined, an attempt to place a chink in his impenetrable defense. All the same, he indulged her with an answer as he moved to walk past her, his cybernetic limb raising for her to lead the way before his longer strides overtook her.

"With the retirement of the Grand Moff, the number of authorities who can send me anywhere has been divided." The Supreme Leader was the sole authority who could 'order' him around, though he had never done so personally, and had never sent one of his Ren Agents to do so either. Graush deigned to serve none but himself before he died, and his tone suggested the same as he spoke.

Had he not been wearing the helmet, the mysterious Supreme Commander would've made an attempt at a faux smile, well practiced too. "Tell me something, Princess," his helmeted gaze rotating around to settle upon her much smaller frame. "What do you hope to achieve in your lifetime?" Curiosity drove his question, a man of business, he needed to weasel out simple answers before he could go in for the kill. "For yourself... Or your people."
