The Fight for Kalor's Saber

Apparently, Iziz knew right where the Demon's Fist was. Stealth deactivated, the Demon's Fist would raise an eyebrow in surprise at the lightsaber flying towards him. However, his adequate distance from the Jawa gave the Sith knight enough time to react. He moved his sabers into a defensive position, causing the throwing blade to be deflected and sent skittering across the floor.

At this point, Ajihad knew the duel' send was near. Both combatants would be drained by now, a result of their tireless fighting. The potion had helped reenergize the assassin, but it wasn't a huge boost. Just something to keep him going a bit longer.

The assassin knew he wouldn't be able to fight [member="Iziz Vei"] in melee, given his wound on the side. His option were limited, and were narrowing by the second. However, there was a wildcard he could use that just might work...

Ever since he was a child, Lord Ajihad was strong in the force. However, there were always two abilities he was just naturally good at. Prophecy, and mental manipulation.

His next move was a gamble. Not many Sith knew mental manipulation, and even less knew how to defend themselves from attacks by it. In order to defend against someone who used this ability, the defender first must know how to defend them self. Pure willpower wouldn't overcome it, though it would help.

The Demon's Fist send a spear into Iziz's mind, invading it. Hopefully, the Jawa had never been trained by a Sith Lord to both use and defend against mental manipulation. If he wasn't trained to, then Ajihad's task would be much easier. If he was, then a duel of both the force and the minds would take place. Whoever was more skilled would win.

Iziz was better than that... and the Sith knight had fallen head-first into his trap.

The lightsaber that he had thrown, wrapped in the power of his own telekinesis as it cascaded towards his opponent, span like a discuss until it clashed hard into the guard of his two light-sabers, grinding like a circular saw. The spin-force of the blade causing the blade to be parried off in a diagonal nature and down from Ajihad's chest towards the ground. However, Iziz was already in motion, strafing quickly... once the blade had gone past his opponent, and Iziz saw the Miralukan's focus return to himself, Iziz turned from his strafing run to a bee-line towards his opponent, calling the light-saber around and back to him, pulling on it with the force as the blade would suddenly change direction point-blanc as Iziz would dash to a side to create the appropriate angle, gripping and throwing the second of his spinning disks for Ajihad's eye height with the intention of cutting off any attempt to dodge, as well as give him another something to take his attention off of the sneak attack.

The result and intent would be violent and quick rather than slow and graceful.

The first of his spinning blades after it was blocked would travel less than half a meter away before performing a slight curve on a dime before rushing for the opposite side of Iziz's first cut, with Ajihad's guard in all the wrong places having blocked the strike at his front, he was in no position to block the spinning blade coming for his back with telekinetic force adding to the strength of it... though, the truth of everything was, Iziz was getting tired, the grip on his blade was not as firm as before, while Iziz could likely have sparred many more rounds with his dominion of the force, dropping the pillar of all things was what took the most out of him. Force speed and augmentation was bordering second nature unless he was really beginning to push himself, but he had-had a small rest behind the pillar before it was dropped... the results of which were reversed by his telekinetic pulse...

Whether the blade landed against his opponent or not, the gap between them would have closed by the time it was over, Iziz had no intention of catching his own blade, rather than avoiding it and striking for his opponent again with a spear-like thrust of his saber-staff at its full length for his opponents gut with enough speed and precision that should Ajihad not avoid, and continue his attempt to breach his opponent's mind, the blow to the gut would strike simultaneously...

and this fight would be over.

As [member="Iziz Vei"] rushed towards Ajihad, he would be neglecting to erect mental defenses against his opponent's assault. This would give the Jawa time to pick up the miniature lightsaber, call it back towards himself, and redirect it back towards Ajihad. The blade was on course to slash him about halfway down his ribcage. Luckily, Ajihad's lightsaber was already close to there. Unfortunately, due to the concentration required for a mental attack, his own movement and reactions would be reduced significantly. He was only able to adjust the position of his closest lightsaber a small bit, for it was all he could afford. The shoto came through, one of its extended blades hitting Ajihad's own saber in a clockwise motion. This reduced the disc's momentum by quite a bit, but would not succeed in entirely blocking the blow. Though the Jawa's momentum-heavy blade would be impeded, that wouldn't stop the back blade. The remaining momentum would send the rest of the blade wrapping around his body, cutting into his arm and about a third of his back.

It hurt, he wouldn't deny that. He was going to need some serious Bacta healing later on. Just as Ajihad ripped in into the Jawa's mind, the pain would briefly waver the link. The assassin would still be inside the Jawa's head, but the bond would be briefly weakened. This would give the Jawa perhaps a second to react, before the bond was restored. It would come back stronger than ever, given the Knight's rage that was generated after the blow. How Iziz would act during the small grace period would be a wild card. He's almost certainly be stunned, especially since the Demon's Fist had ripped open the fabric of his mind in a brutal manner. However, it would be interesting to see...

Iziz had begun his charge towards his opponent only to be cut off part way after a few bounding steps, slowing but not stopping, he could feel the presence of Ajihad approaching his mind... though the presence was heavily dampened by the hood of the Sith Assassin armour, the cowl of which wrapped around him so perfectly. But the second he could feel Ajihad crashing into his own force wall, something which the Jawa had not expected to happen, Iziz got mad. Such mental-ism was not something you came across often within the assassins, and to think that the Sith was still strong enough to be able to sum up the will to perform a mental attack of this magnitude... the implications were staggering. But then there was the biting of the blade which ripped through his opponent's body, ripping through where his kidneys and internal organs would be as well as his lower hand, the heat burning the tendons in his opponents hand, even were it only one of them on the underside of the wrist which would completely immobilize that hand. The attack had landed, and Iziz for a brief moment felt the weight of victory...

this was done...

The Jawa had set up traps within traps... and plans within plans.

A sith needed to be two steps ahead of their opponent, but, he had honestly not thought that such an attack was not going to work... As the blade slammed into the back of his opponent, Iziz acted, his telekinetic grip already wrapped around the blade would flick the weapons power switch, specially made for a greater ease of manipulating the length of the blade while simultaneously making it harder for trakata users to abuse. Suddenly, the 50cm long blades which formed a weapon about as long as a meter over-all, would extend to 75cm long, creating a weapon which was, instead, a mater and a half in total length not including the small hilt. The solid but deep wounds which would have been dealt to his opponent would magnify almost instantly, enough to, in theory sever the Sith's arm entirely and cutting so deeply into his torso that Ajihad would not be merely scathed, but require immediate medical attention solely to survive the encounter.

Finishing his combo with style and ducking the trajectory of the returning blade, Iziz resumed his maintained run, jumping toward his opponent and retracting the blades of his saber-staff to deliver a leaping diagonally downward blow to the Sith assassins' head with gravity, weight and force to hopefully knock him unconscious and end this duel once and for all... Panting, drained, and light-headed... Iziz thanked the terentatek hide which it was 'he' and his master Ferus who had attained and sewn into the armour of the Sith assassins. Iziz had thought of the idea of sewing the leather into the hood to protect against mental attacks was a waste of material... but it seemed that already it had come in use... an apology was owed...

But... The Jawa only hoped this madness was over...

[member="Iziz Vei"] would find an overpowering see station of the Force gripping down around him. It was as if an outside source had gone to simply pluck him away, a feat that would be easily achieved if it was not resisted. Likewise, the Jawa would be able to see his saber halted. But none of this was done by [member="Lord Ajihad"] .

"And this is what my Assassins waste their time doing?"

A hollow voice sounded off from beside the pair, annoyance clear. Darth Ferus, both hands raised, would intervene, his eyes a deep red. Slowly he would glance between the two, a growl on his lips.

"Iziz is the clear winner of this. But should I see you two fight with yourselves or anyone within the Assassins to the death outside of a Kaggath, you will be punished. I will not have talent wasted, unless I say to. Understood?"

Iziz felt like he was on the brink of collapse, looking to his opponent as the final blow seemed to be stopped by an unlikely entrant, it seemed that Ferus had proclaimed the Jawa the winner, even though he hadn't felt like it, the teetering power that lingered at the edge of his mind was close, but, perhaps Iziz was just a little bit faster, and that was what had saved him. Wavering in his walk, Iziz moved to the person he had given the saber to, the trophy they were fighting for and claimed it... Ajihad was a resourceful sith, it was true, but, Iziz seemed to be better for the mean time.

The battle was too close though.

Iziz had let his training slip in the small amount of time he had been idle, and that was about to change. The jawa had managed to get a lot out of the training he had done, but that only proved that his potential was far greater than he initially thought... or was it merely the influence of something inside of him that allowed himself to push further and harder than a normal sith would... they were questions which needed answering, but, for now, Darth Yannis needed rest, and that was something he was not going to get here, looking over his shoulder at his opponent, it was time for that rest to come.

Time to go home.

Walking past Ferus, Iziz nodded to his master, who he had not seen for some time, the darkness and disappointment raising from his voice was something which was almost palpable, but, with the exhaustion of the battle, Iziz didn't very much care for what the Shadow of the Dark lord had to say, the Jawa was barely awake... walking past him and but acknowledging his words were all the Sith Knight could muster in his present state as he almost dragged his feet away from the contest area, where Sith acolytes still lay groaning from aji's bullets as he had almost literally opened up on a crowd.

And without a word, the Jawa left.
