C-02 had been seeking many upgrades with himself since his last combat. Over time, he experimented. He made weapons, and defenses. The False Idols were one of his best works that went with his primary function of holographic disguises as well, a perfect tool for him to use. And a perfect form of escape, to distract the enemy to buy time to form a plan.
These holographic displays were drawn from him, with him as their center. They could appear anywhere in the radius around him. In any form, from rancor to human, as long as it could fit within the radius. However, these could cause no damage to others and were rather defenseless. When made in contact with anything that tried to attack, they would dissipate.
They could be formed in any number, as a smoke mirror to protect him. However, there were tell tale signs such as how sunlight appeared to go through them and they would seem almost opaque in sunlight. It was a decisive distraction tool that suited C-02 well.
